So where have I been? Working on other stuff that does not involve animation and drawing and that is not fun. Yup I'm studying hard for my final exams. After these exams its straight to real work. Wish me luck folks.
So last month saw the release of the new Imperial Guard Codex ( http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/c.....Id=prod1600020 ). Boy have i been waiting for this codex for a while. I also bought the Valkyrie model that they made. I should be posting photos of my Imperial Guard army soon. (Army not complete, still missing 2 more battle tanks).

Update news 2
Posted 16 years agoThe next Maurin House update is currently under way. The reason why it is taking so long is because since FA has decided to make flash films 700 pixel wide I am forced to arrange the game to those settings.
It really blows because this means that I have to enlarge the scenes or make the dialogue text on one side whilst the animations are on the other.
Things for next update:

Posted 16 years agoCurrently progress on Maurin House is going really slow. I am currently working on the animations of 3 characters (Lady Maurin and the Bartender lass + a guest character) and preparing other pictures so that they are turned into animations.
In total i have about 5 characters to be animated. I am planning to include other characters, some of which are not girls.
Any suggestions that you wish me to include in the game?

Posted 16 years agoso i found out what was the problem....apparently there was a magnetic frequency that was distorting the connection between my laptop and the wifi router.
in poor words: i lost about 5 euros for nothing.

Posted 16 years agoI wish to inform everyone that for the next few days I will not be on the internet. This is due to my Laptop's internet refusing to work correctly. In fact i am currently writing this on a friends computer.

I am going to attempt to make an adult flash game!

I have also plans to include certain characters from outside my arsenal of characters. Some will include Flaky and Petunia from Happy Tree Friends.

Posted 17 years agoEverything in life is a suspect for controversy, be it the food we eat or the books we read. However there is one topic that simply is too famous to ignore:
Video Game Controversy
If you live in the US then you probably heard this topic to the point of nausea. But I am not going to talk about the games that cause the controversy,no I am going to talk about the people who ignite these controversies.
Here is a list of people who are most likely to ignite a video game controversy:
The Churchgoers
No matter which church people go to, these are usually the first people to scream controversy whenever a game that contains blood, nudity or foul language. In the cases of the latter these are extremely rare, but in the case of blood and nudity it is almost too common to hear a churchgoer bash a game for such things.
The Media
Where do you go in order to make sure your anti video game message is heard on a national, if not international, scale? Why go to the news networks of course! Yes suspect number 2 in this list in the media, mostly tv news network. If you ever bothered to watch Fox News you will know what i mean. Rather than investigating the truth or, better yet, wait for the police to tell what was the REAL cause, TV news would rather listen to rumors from people who claim themselves experts in school shooting/ car accident/ drug overdose. If the rumor is based around video games then the media is more likely to produce news bashing it. Yes it is very rare for a news network to state that something bad occurred because of bad parenting/crime/ others if they heard rumors about it, in most cases they will state "reason/s yet unknown"
The Government
There is an old saying which states that "Power Corrupts". I can not say that there is a honest politician out there who is well known or truthful, be it in the US or right here in my island country of Malta. The US government is probably filled with video game haters since every time a new GTA comes out either Hilary "I am so racist" Clinton or some other ass-jacket politician jumps out of his chair to scream that the game is evil despite the fact that they never picked a game controller in their life. If, and I mean IF, there is a politician who doesn't believe that video games are the greatest evil in the world then they are doing a good job hiding it. Why? Because they most probably fear that they would be cast out of their position or even worse would lure the attention of the greater demon known as the media who would probably stalk the person until they find something that could ruin his/her career.
Parents
Parents aren't really one of the major controversy starters, but many an occasion did a video game controversy spark from a single ember into a blaze because a parent heard that a game is bad because it has nudity/blood/foul language. How? Because most parents were not raised in a time where video games existed. Parents were raised watching television or listening to the radio or reading books. For them the term "video games" is not easy to understand. It is these people who are usually misled by the news or rumors and end up rallying against games because they were told so.

What did santa leave me for christmas?

Holy shit! The bestest gift i ever got in my life!
Super Mario Galaxy has got to be the sweetest game i have ever played in my life. The soundtrack is simply beautiful and the graphics are lovely. I never played a Mario game in my entire life (I was raised on dumb educational games, God I hated them) and yet I felt a nostalgic feeling about the game.
The only thing I found awkward was the fact that Mario would say "Weehee!" whenever he was shoot from a star. If I was in Mario's place I would scream instead of cheering, then again we are talking about a plumber who saves the same princess from the same villain in a land full of walking talking mushrooms....
If you have a Wii and don't have Super Mario Galaxy then I strongly suggest you to buy it, you won't regret it!
Anyways Happy New Year see you in 2009.

Frankly i shouldn't give a shit, but according to him i suck so bad that my work is a pain to the eye....maybe he should simply ignore my work and move on with his life.

Posted 17 years agoWell as any of you know by know i am a Flash artist and that means i can animate stuff. Not the sort of stuff that would make Matt Groening (the creator of Simpson's) hate me, but simple flash animations. Currently i have been working on several projects including:

Armada (millioms of script ideas haven't chosen which)

Video Game Trailers Review

Recently I was watching some trailers and videos of upcoming games, some that show a great future and some that are worrying bad.
So i decided to make a once a week review of upcoming games. So lets get started shall we?
Star Wars: Force Unleashed

Don't we all dream of wielding a light saber? Don't we all dream of being jedis Darth Vader or Luke? We this game doesn't actually put you in either shoes but instead you are Darth Vader secret apprentice, which is awesome.

As seen in this video the use of the force, A.I. and interactive environment is better than those in the other star wars game which proves that the people behind the game are actually aiming to give the gamer the true feeling of actually being a jedi.

i'm a big fan of Warhammer, mostly of the dark elves, so when i heard that Warhammer online was in the working i almost screamed with joy. But after seeing some of the production videos my hopes of an awesome game soon began to fall....that and its being produced by EA.
Now how can i say that? Well look at the following videos:

Er okay......can't really understand why he used chariots as an example, but i think i understood something.....i think.
As seen in both videos it appears that EA has absolutly no idea what Warhammer is about, similar to what they did in the "lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle-Earth" series. I just hope that this does not end up as a huge disappointment.
