So I am the last person you'd think would like beer , it turns out I do! I'm just very picky.

Me and some friends went out for a friends birthday, and we ended up going to Brown's it's a brewing company not far from where we live and ommmmmggggggg we got their paddle which sounds dirty but it was just shot glass style samples of a number of the beers they do going from pale ales down to stouts.
Their cherry raspberry ale was good I liked that a lot and finished that off, but their Oatmeal Stout was amaziiiiinnnnggggg. It had this something that reminded me off coffee and it was beautiful and the best part was I didn't even get heartburn from it which was just icing on the cake.

And apparently I was definitely cute enough to be allowed to walk on the bar. /v\

Somehow we got talking about it and joking around and while I wasn't paying attention one of my friends actually asked the bartender if I could get away with it and he said 'oh definitely' and I WAS UNPREPARED FOR BEING THAT EMBARESSED N BLUSHY /A\

Had to send my tablet back-again. It had the issue where it wasn't charging and was causing more or less an electrical shortage in the tablet. This is my second tablet so far since the first one had hardware issues and shitty tech guys tried to insist it was windows and not the computer itself.
I hate talking to those tech guys on the phone they act like I'm stupid because I sound like I'm 14 on the phone and not a goddamned 23 year old woman with fucking deadlines to worry about. They no lie sounded like patronizing men that were tired of parents buying expensive work devices for their kids that had no idea how those things worked.
Talking to the phone guys is supposed to get shit taken care of faster but don't bother, they've all been condescending assholes and the only reason they ever said anything nice it was forced because it was a part of their jobs. First time I brushed it off like 'oh dude had a bad day whateves' but after I got that attitude every single time I called I got fed up.

Emailed someone and they were much better and shit got done faster to boot. I explained what was up he said 'ya that sounds like hardware failure here's a ups shipping label send it back and we'll get you a new one'

Just ugh. I love the product don't get me wrong when it's working properly it's absolutely amazing. I think their phone tech guys need a lesson or five in how to properly respond to customers especially with how many issues are arising, since I'm not the only one that's had these issues, this second tablets wiring issue is apparently a somewhat common issue. It's just immensely annoying when this is the second time I've had issues and I can't take on jobs because of it.

When it's working perfectly though it's so unbelievably amazing though. It's beautiful it runs nice my art style has taken a positive and sudden boost in time it takes me to make it and how it looks. I just wish I didn't have to send them back when they break down on me and waste 20 dollars getting a screen protector for an item I have to return. :/

This turned into a much bigger rant than I anticipated.

But I feel the need to punctuate it with something nice, when it comes back I'm hoping to work on another few starmice batches, I started one and then everything happened.

People who repost their things for sale/trade submission like every few hours are annoying as shit. I saw it the first time was not interested stop doing that over and over when you have zero updates/nothing new to show. Words don't describe how annoying it is to see that same shit every time you check new submissions.
Im just going to stop watching those people from now on, regardless of how I feel about their work, for both FA and DA.

Exactly what I said, I'm kind of getting super disheartened with everything, it's a bitch to find the stuff I'd like for my stories, and no-one seems interested. There's a couple people who are really nice and chat with me about my dumb babies, and rp, but for as many wonderful people I have to chat with I reach out to 5 times as many and get shot down and see them interact with other people instead.
I don't know what I'm doing wrong at this point. It's gotten to the point where I'll write something with a lot of thought put into it and send it off fully expecting it to automatically be shot down, 90% of the time on right on that assumption.
I feel stupid sending people serious trade offers that I've taken time to think about and immediately be shot down within seconds. I don't want to start buying adopts just as trade fodder since it's dickish thing to do in my opinion, but there's times where it feels like that's the only way to get certain adopts these days.
Offers of my own art aren't adequate either, even when I offer the equivalent of hundreds of dollars worth.

Even just outside of trades no-one seems interested. I only rarely get comments on any of my works, and most comments come on pictures I make of original species adopts that I got that are popular. I used to take all this time to write out a description just a little something to try and peak peoples interest, to make them want to know more and get nothing.
I'm feeling fed up. Maybe from now on I won't reach out to anyone, won't bother offering anyone anything, won't bother commenting or tagging or adding any description to anything I post anymore, there's no point anyway.

I'll keep to the people who've been wonderful so far and just leave it at that.
maybe if I post I'll only post dumps rather than individual pieces.

In other news, I've been listening to the smooth dulcet tones of Cecil a lot. It has had a profound effect.

It's still in the works; and no-one has individual pages yet, but I'm hoping in time they will and there I can house all the art I get of them. This pretty much all my adopts.

Took way longer and shorter than I was expecting. ugh coding can be so confusing sometimes. =^=
