General | Posted 5 years agoMy pictures always look so small on the front browsing page while others are a lot more big and visible. Mine tend to be around the same size at about 900 x 1100. Is there something I'm missing? Is it random? I really want to know because I feel like it's causing my work to get overlooked.
Finding it hard to make a big break here
General | Posted 6 years agoPopularity is never something I've ever exclusively searched for when creating my art - I would love for more people to see what I'm putting out here but its not my main intent. But what I'm noticing more and more here is the huge gap in visibility between creators here, regardless of talent:
Either you have tons of fans already under your belt, ready to take notice of you no matter what, or no one at all. It really feels like there's no in between.
I always feel so petty when I talk about this but it really bothers me as there are some INCREDIBLY talented artists producing work here who nobody will see because people tend to flock to the popular artists that they know (not to mention NSFW and fetish stuff is always more popular here than anything SFW, lets be real), never giving those just starting out any room to make headway. I just wish there was a feature here to give new accounts and rising stars an easier time getting themselves noticed.
I've been here for 5 years without much growth so maybe it's just me feeling this way, who knows. Thanks for reading this if you made it all the way through my frustrated late-night tangent.

File transparency help!!

and it's only basic lineart so they can color it. Well I thought I made the file transparent but I didn't! I even re-did the lineart and saved it in photoshop rather than SAI and had the same problem. Can anyone help me who's more tech savvy than I am?

My latest project is a furry comic, called Cat Quest, about the misadventures of a group of rebel cats in space that fight aliens and are trying to get back home to Earth. The comic itself quite a bit weirder than it sounds, actually.
Please take a look, some things are a little out of place but it's currently being worked on and updated.
