Finally found a moment to post!!!

School is going by really fast its crazy. We're pretty much 1/2 way through the year right now and I'll be sad when its over. Arts been great. I've learned some new things and have been using different kinds of media. Might incorporate some into commissions/trades. depending. I've also calculated that I can finish my clinical hours in in about 4 weeks! That's going to be amazing! So then after that I can concentrate on my art and coding homework and maybe get some of the things I owe people done.

With that said here is my current list up-to-date.

Its not a very long list and shouldn't have taken me this long to do, but its life. I'll be adding some sketches, doodles (full page), inks, or flat colors with all of these when I get ready to send them out.

I start school again tomorrow. I'm taking self defense, Drawing I (might learn some new things, this was a good idea :3), Coding and practicum. Shouldn't be too stressful. With the drawing class I'm sure I'll have to draw more than I used to when I was going to school, so maybe (just maybe) I'll sketch things out that I NEED too.

Its about a week till school starts and I'm quite sad.
I was wanting to work on art last week, but I had strep throat :(. Maybe this week I can get somethings done.
Really that is pretty much all that I've been doing. Had a busy weekend this week too.
Any ways I'll try to be better about updating and things.

Just an update on how things are going. I'm trying to get school work done early this week that a way I can start sketching again and get my commissions done. After that I will work on trades that I owe and then I can work on personal art and start developing myself as an artist.

I finally will be able to do some art tonight. I'm hoping to get things done soon and then send them out.
I hate that I've taken so long to do these, but I feel like today might actually be the day that something will get done.

I've decided to just upload everything to this account and not my other one. Too much work and I just don't have the time for it.

Sorry if any names are misspelled, just kind of letting people who have commissions where they are. I'm almost done with summer 1 session of school which will leave time to do some arting. Hopefully wont be too long now, maybe this weekend + a couple of days.
I also haven't forgotten my trades either!

I've been thinking about my own personal character/fursona. I've been thinking about what species to do. Its between either coyote or a white tailed deer. I've been leaning more towards the deer. Its just something really different and I've got an awesome character design in my head.

I'm going to start off with the deer and if I like it enough she will be my main character. If not I'll use her a an extra character. I'm excited to start drawing again. I've missed it for a long time now.

I've decided that I can no longer accept commissions. It seems like I just don't have the time to do those any more and paying customers deserve to get what they payed for in a reasonable time. School has been keeping my extremely busy and it makes me really sad that I don't draw like I used to.

This doesn't mean that I wont finish up my list (which I am actually working on, believe it or not). So from now on I will only be accepting trades, requests and doing some gifts for people. I truly do miss doing the thing that I love. School has taken so much of that time away it makes me sad. I hope to develop my skill and knowledge of art and someday maybe open up for commissions again.

After graduating in May 2011 I plan on either getting an associates or bachelors degree in art. Art has been my passion for a long time and getting a degree in that is something I've always wanted. The thing about commissions is that they make me stressed. I liked drawing for the joy of being creative and just sharing what I love to do with others.

So during this time I will be defining myself as an artist and learning new things and just enjoy drawing for the sake of drawing and not for a profit.

School is almost over and then we will be going on vacation to Colorado in a week, and after that we are going to San Antonio too. My plan is to make a list of all the work that I have to do and sketch what I can on the Colorado trip and when I get back to scan those in for approvals and others to get ready to ink. Then once I get the approvals, I will start to ink those on the second trip and wait to color every thing when I get home.

I hope this plan works. I'd like to get things finished soon before I get busy again. I also want to work on some personal art and finally get a reference done too.

After coming home tonight, I learn that my g-ma has breast cancer :/.
She will have surgery and start chemo soon.

I am having some personal problems. I don't know when they will be fixed, but I am defiantly not in the art mood right now. Sorry for the even longer wait -.-

I hope everyone had a great winter holiday and is doing well.

I was thinking about the new year and what i may want to do for a "new years resolution". There's the usual loose weight thing, but I am thinking of something a bit different than that. I was thinking about not doing commissions and trades for a while to really develop my skills and what direction I want my art to take. I want to start drawing humans more, develop a more realistic style with my animals, and do some digital pieces. I've gotten photoshop for christmas and I am currently waiting for a tablet to get in, so those won't be for a while. I also want to work with markers more and colored pencils too.

I also finally have a good laminator to laminate my badges that I have, but first I have to fiddle on placements and things like that.

I've been putting in some overtime hours this week at work and I am really tired. I did get Thanksgiving day off, but I had to work all day on saturday (7 a.m. - 6 p.m.), I'm not really used to waking up at 7 so many days in a row. I was hopeing to start sketching commissions and trades on saturday, but it didn't happen. I am going to some bust shots today of Cupcake, just to get back into the art mood and to be a reference of my new hair, then start working on other things.

As for the digital commissions, I won't be doing those till after Christmas because my bf got me photoshop 8! I haven't used the program in a while. The price may be high because I was thinking of sending the original inks to the commissioner. So its like a two-for-one type of thing. We'll see how that goes.

I've been thinking about making a furbuy account to sell some original art. It wont be anything of my character, mostly just random images. It would mostly of random anaimal images and things like that and I'd sell 'em for cheep. Would any one be interested in purchasing those things or not? Again its just a thought.

Also I am getting photoshop 8 for christmas! I ordered it yesterday and should be comming in soon, I am excited. I may open for some digital collabs if any one would be interested in doing those. I haven't used the program in so long tho, I'll have to brush up my understanding of the program. So I maybe posting random art with those tutorials that they have with it.
Another thing that I may get for christmas is a lamminator. I've needed one other than just doing badges by hand. I've gotten my prisma markers in the mail too! I can't wait to color something with them. I have one thing sketched, but I want to draw something amazing and color it. I have no idea what to do tho. Suggestions?

Yes I have strep throat! All I have to say is it sucks.... I hate feeling sick and when I eat, it hurts. Could be worse, but still not the funnest thing. My sister gave it to me, my mom, and her husband... way to go.

My mom and me went to the doctor after I got off work, we got a shot in the butt to get over it faster. So yeah a bit under the weather and the bad thing is, is that I am in a big art mood, but I don't feel good enough to want to draw. Ugh I hate that, but my markers are comming in on the 19th so I will try to have things sketched and approved before then.
I also need to finish those few badges and have them sent out before the 20th. I am behind on everthing, please excuse me for this.

Just thinking I'd like to have an alternate species character. I am thinking along the lines of a feline... maybe a white lion, those are pretty. We shall see if I can come up with anything.

Also I will be changing my commission prices at the begining of the year (2010) because I just bought me some Prisma markers (all 156ct I am excited) and I will be getting the colored pencils for christmas. I am thinking colored pencil commissions will and an extra $2 and marker commissions will be an extra $3 so I can replenish my stock if they die out. But if you want to get the cheep commission price now go and comment me on my commission/trade/gift account ( cellar-door). If your commission isn't done by the end of this year, DON'T worry you won't have to pay extra.

For some reason my internet decides to crap out on me when I have assignments due and a test to take online. It was probably going slow because it needs to update, so I am going to try and do that today and see if it will work tomorrow. If it doesn't work then I am going to have to call the people and see whats wrong.
I may be off line for a few days and I might not. We will see.

As for art I am going to try and finish  scenemonster's picture in the next two weeks and then I will be working on  nohmask's commission. The reason why I am not doing the commission first is because I need to study feline anatomy since I don't draw them much. And anything else I owe will be done after that.
