Hey, y'all.
I turned the deliciously prime 31 years old a week ago. My claws have never felt sharper, my feathers are primo; it's great.

Last couple of years, you've probably seen my commissioned art take a different direction. New characters, new flavors.
And, like; hey, thanks for being along for the ride.

Been thinkin' on the topic of self-awareness.
In short; what's it like to see my transition? For you to observe me, parasocially, through the art I get; to see the shift in styles and focuses, my stories and writing?

I've been here on FurAffinity for 15 years now - half my life! - and in sum, y'all have seen a lot of me. Anyone who's been here a while probably knows me pretty well.

Well, laying it out there a bit more sincerely, it's been a kick-ass year.
I mean,
a) It's been a fantastic year,
b) The year kicked my ass.

I grew up kinda weird! Won't burden you with details - just, y'know, rough stuff growing up. It left weird damages behind; things that affected how I socialised with others.
Been lucky enough to explore the various stuff it left behind through artistic fantasies and community outreach.

Y'all - my various friends and acquaintances, lovers n' commenters - all added up to help me get through a bunch of that junk. Process things, grow n' develop. :3

So, hey; I'm 31 now. Young enough to kick ass, old enough to know better than I did.

Thanks for the ride, thanks for the healin'. To every one of ya', you're welcome to the warmth of my wings and the grip of my claws.

It's also Christmas this weekend, my one-year-anniversary of landing in the USA next week, and seven months since I got married to  JavaJolt. Wild times...~
