Posted a week agoAfter days of praying, waiting for a miracle, my mother has passed away.
I'm currently dealing with funeral arrangements and mourning her passing. Thank you to everyone who has given me support and condolences in this difficult times.
I'll keep working on Adoptables and commissions slowly, mostly since I still owe funeral costs therefore I have to keep working, I appreciate everyone's understanding during these times.

Posted 2 weeks agoHello everyone, I'm very sorry to inform about my mother's health. It has gotten worse, since she is a dialysis patient, and has disability and various health issues (diabetes, hypertension) she can't go under respiratory therapy due to this, which would prolong her life.
Sadly they have informed me that she doesn't have much time left, since they detected an autoimmune disease in her. Currently she is ok, but as I said the doctors don't know how long she has.
Due to this, I need money for funeral costs, since in my country they don't offer much help with that, and I have only 24 hours to claim a body, if not then its a legal issue. Legal issues that require lawyers and money, that I do not have at the moment.
I would need around 800 USD to cover urgent costs, if you want to help with donations, you can do so via Ko-Fi! I can give you a thank you of sorts, but also commissions help out a lot too, which are always open

Posted 3 months agoHello, I'm sorry that I have to inform of bad news yet again, but my mom's condition is getting worse.
Her dialysis catheter is infected and sadly its the last area they could place a catheter. Currently she has a high fever, and is connected to an artificial respirator meanwhile they're trying to combat the infection or see if there is any other methods to help her. Sadly a kidney transplant isn't an option, the doctors have told me that they don't see any other areas to place a new catheter, and sadly her prognosis isn't favorable at all.
I'm hoping for a miracle or something, every day I go to the hospital to visit her and see how her health is.
I wanted to express this here, and kinda explain as to why I have been very late with commissions. I haven't been having a good time, but I will do my best to deliver all the things I owe soon.
Currently I am in a very bad economic situation and I desperately need help since I have to pay a debt of 250 usd at the cemetery in order to properly bury her if the worse comes, in my country they only give 24 hours to claim a body, if not its a legal battle of months which includes getting a lawyer which would be costly.
I appreciate if you like my art style, or if you would like to promote me I would greatly appreciate it!

I'm making this journal to keep my clients in the loop of things, I regret to inform that I have issues with my computer, one of the parts in it is failing and I need to change it.
Which is costly and difficult for me to due to my home situation, (medical expenses and home expenses, as I'm the sole bread winner home, and my mother has many health issues that I am also her caretaker.)
I would need around 100 to 150 usd! so I am going to be promoting my commissions, YCHs, and adoptables even more, incase anyone is interested, so that way I can save up and have it fixed.
I do have another way to continue commissions but it will be slower since its an old PC, Any support is greatly appreciated, purchases or shares too!

Well there's a couple of things I haven't said, it has been one year almost since the passing of my father, this event caused a lot problems emotionally for my mom and I, since we noticed an emptiness without him which we both are still healing from, but also, my mom's health has been another issue. She's had various health problems for years now, she lost her eyesight and some of her mobility in her legs which has made her mostly dependent on a wheelchair to move around, she also has kidney problems. Due to her kidney problems, she does dialysis 3 times a week, which is very important since she has diabetes and hypertension.
In the last few months, her catheter has been causing a lot of problems for her and for the people who do the procedure for the dialysis, which has sent us to the hospital, for whole days even, to get her checked out. Sadly the health system in my country isn't the greatest, so it is an issue that was being delayed and even ignored by health professionals here, and once her catheter did get switched out it was the wrong one or one that did not meet her needs. Due to this, the catheter would not work or simply work for a day or two and then nothing, which has sent us to the hospital to find a solution to this.
Last month this is what has been happening, her catheter isn't functioning as it should, and the center where we go for dialysis has been unhelpful for the most part, sending us back and for with them and the hospital, causing my mom to go for weeks without her dialysis which is a life threatening issue especially for her. Currently she was hospitalized due to them finding a bit of liquid in her lungs, so she has been in the hospital due to that, and has been getting check out for her catheter too. Sadly, the doctors have told me that it could be that she has a cardiovascular problem, or that her blood vessels are swollen due to the diverse health problems she has, so they have told me to expect more visits to the hospital due to this, meaning I'll be whole days there at most.
Now with an explanation of my situation currently, I wanted to thank everyone for the extreme patience many have shown when it comes to commissions and wait times, I'll try to deliver everything as fast as I humanly can, but I did feel a bit guilty making my clients wait more then usual due to this situation that has been very tough on me and my mother. I also wanted to express my immense gratitude to those who commission me regularly, purchase adopts, or purchase anything from me, since it greatly helps me!
As some may know, I am the only one at my household that makes any income, and that money tends to go towards transportation to the dialysis center, bills, and food. So any support financially is great appreciated, no matter how small it seems.
Having explained myself a bit, I hope many can understand my situation, it was a bit tough to write this out since I have been very anxious due to everything, but, I will still be finishing up commissions I owe! I will continue to promote my commissions, adopts, and customs daily, uploading old commissions that I have yet to upload while I finish the current ones.

Important Announcement

I wanted to make an announcement of sorts in regards to my current status with commissions, lately my mom has been having more health issues (she's a dialysis patient), so that has had me continuously leaving the house and having less time to do commissions; not including the stress and economic hit it gave to us since the trips back and forth are costly, including the exams. Currently she is in better health, but I just wanted to apologize for the delays in delivering commissions, and customs! It is rough during times like these since I am the only person who gets income via commissions and customs in my household, but I am doing my best to deliver the best quality commissions and customs I can! I hope this inconvenience isn't a problem for anyone, I have been working on what I owe and plan to have them completed as soon as possible.

It's a big loss that left my mom and I feeling like something is missing in our family. My mom is currently very bad emotionally, same goes for me, but I wanted to apologize to the clienta whom I still owe commissions to, I'll male sure to have them done as soon as possible! I'll be a bit slow due to everything that has happened, sadly I would like to take a break, but due to the expenses of my father's passing, I have to keep working to pay it off, so thank you for the support

Currently my dad is in the hospital, and is in a very delicate situation with his health, sadly they have informed us to prepare for the worst, so this is a tough situation for me and my mom. My parents are older adults (seniors), they suffer from different diseases that do not allow them to work; My mother is diabetic, she recently lost her sight and her kidneys have failed, for which I have to take her to dialysis 4 times a week and since We don't have our own means of transportation, We require private transportation services (Taxi / Uber). She needs a lot of care, as her injuries can be complicated and she recently lost a toe due to an infection. My father has a low pension and due to the 2020 Covid pandemic he lost his job as a janitor/ watchman, although due to his advanced age, and that his eyesight has also been reduced, it was already very difficult for him to work.
Currently, being their only child, I am the breadwinner for my family, taking care of the home (cleaning and food). And because I have to take care of my parents 24/7, added to the pandemic, it is impossible for me to work outside the home, my only source of income are the commissions and adoptables that I sell on different platforms, but these have not been enough in recent months, therefore, I find myself in the need to ask for help, either by advertising my work or by donations via Ko-Fi. Either way I would be very grateful to you.

I know I usually don't make a lot of journals, but I wanted to inform everyone that the prices of my commissions are being raised a bit, mostly due to the situation in my household getting more difficult
I'll announce the new prices in a couple of days!
(Also the commissions that have already been asked for, will remain with the old prices! so don't worry!)

and Simple Color (which will be changed to a different name since I've noticed its not so simple-) will be raised to 35
