Welcome to the herd brony! Here are some quick, general things to know. If you don't have the hub on your TV (its a new channel) justin.tv/basil34 streams the new episodes on Friday 1:30 pm EST. There are a couple chans. They are all welcoming. 4chan has bronies in /co/ and /b/. I like to hang out in /b/ because I love reaction pics. I also have visited ponychan on occasion. If you desire to build a pony folder feel free to request image dumps. Here's a quick list of uncommon pony categories that I have: Derpy Hooves, Dr. Whooves, Steven Magnet (serpent from ep 2.), Pon-3, Human, Iponies, shrugs, Vietnam, young ponies, Warhammer, nazis, Vash the Stampede(4chan /b/ only), Apple Fritter, animated gifs, and desktop wallpapers. Know your meme is also a good source for reaction pics.

Equestria daily is (one of?) the big pony blog(s). If you like fanfics and other misc. pony related things be sure to stop by there.

Check out super pony beat on youtube. They are eurobeat remixes of all thing songs. Fantastic stuff. That should get you started in on the youtube section of the pony fandom. Equestria daily also lists many of the youtube videos that have been made.

I'm assuming you new ponies are already chewing through all the episodes. Mast3rlinxx, pensivepony, and mlp1080p are all good sources for the episodes. 1080p has the best quality but worst organization and is missing a few episodes. Mast3rlinxx is in the middle, and pensive has the worst quality.

I was randomly surfing the interwebs when I thought it would be an awesome if I could make a L4D tank costume. Then I thought how awesome it would be at Anthrocon. THEN I though how cool it would be to make the tank a furry. So I started thinking about the what the whole zombie team would be if they were furries.

So far the tank is a bull. Best fit and would look awesome as a fursuit. The fur would make it look so much nicer.

The hunter would be a tiger. POUNCE! Bonus points if it was Hobbes with an undead Calvin at his feet.

The boomer would be a skunk.

Witch is a bird of some sort. Took inspiration from Corrsk as you can see in my favorites.

Smoker could be anything I guess. Anteater fits best.

Jockey would be a cat. CAT TO DA FACE!

Spitter could be anything.

Charger? I dunno. Crab would be kinda funny to see.

Oh and now all Ellis and Nick artwork shall be based off race 4 dead as seen in my favorites

I'm for it. Mostly because I just made it up right now.

Let's face it, we put our alter-egos through things that we wouldn't touch with a 10 foot clown pole. We beat them up, we dress them in barely, if any, clothing, we paint them with colors that don't exist in nature, we stuff them in places they don't belong, and we stuff them with things that don't belong in them. As an outlet of our fears, wishes, joys, and frustrations they've got it rough. So why not set aside just one day out of the year to show our appreciation? Do something nice for them won't you? Doodle them a lemonade, or write a story about how they found a dollar on the ground. Anything, as long as it's in the spirit of the celebration! Cuz if we show even a little bit of gratitude, we might avoid any kind of revolt. Trust me, you don't want them turning against you.

Spread the word. It's less than two weeks away after all.

As I was walking to class I spotted a squirrel with a big bushy tail bounding past me. I thought to myself "I want some squirrel tail right now." Then I realized the furry connotations of that statement.

I just had my first furry related dream. But it was more like a dream about the fandom than it was about furs. In my dream Jay Naylor (who I've never met IRL even though I've been to three AC's which he regularly attends) was going to get married but the lady didn't want to. So she runs off into an airport and I follow her. We get to the end but Jay has caught up with us. She gets hurt somehow so I go running to find help. I gather some people up but unfortunately I have drawn a rather large crowd. While we are walking back I pass by a small market and see some fursuiters hanging out in front of a cafe. When we get back there are people barring off the area from lookey-loos but let this whole rowdy crowd I gathered in with me. I see her up at the top of a ramp so I run up to reach her. Suddenly I feel myself getting launched off the edge by someone. Holding on for dear life I grab my attacker. He throws me over the edge but while I'm airborne I somehow manage to sling him across my body and throw him into a railing. Then I woke up. Some strange stuff indeed.

I figured I should actually follow this up. Even if it's been 5 months (holy crap where has time gone?)

The cats figured out that pressing down on the printer buttons resulted in fascinating noises. Being curious buggers they would stick their paws into the machine and mess with the incoming paper. They've seem to have lost interest in it of late. They must have figured out the process or simply forgotten.

Dear readers, my printer is possessed. it keeps printing out blank sheets of paper for no reason. The cats seem fascinated by this occurrence. i have reason to believe they have some involvement in the happening.
