finally hit parity with what I have ready to queue for posting and what i have actually left to queue for posting. I can now begin including postybirb queueing as part of my "pic finalizing" process after years of lagging behind for one reason or another

on the other hand, uploads may become less frequent (unless I forget of course)

once again, thanks for your support and appreciation of my work. i hope to re-open commission work within a few weeks and i've got a pretty exciting project in the works that I can't wait to be done with lol

tag blocking is incredible. best fucking thing ever. i hope to see more great tag-based improvements here

some other ones i've been thinking about are

tag suggestions: people can submit/remove a tag to a picture similarly to e621. unlike e6 though, it'd be up to the artist to decide whether or not the tags fit the picture and could even "lock in" certain tags that are not up for change (wouldn't be a default choice obviously. people would still have to put the work in but considering people already dont tag in the first place because it means extra work...)

could use more time in the oven, especially to mitigate abuse, but i think itd be neat

tag aliasing: for people who *do* put tags in their work, something that can detect misspellings and suggest alternative tags that might be more conventional (maybe with the numbers alongside it to incentivize people to make it more conventionally searchable). it'd also help clarify whether to put "two" and "heads" or "two_heads" because one would show up in more people's searching specifically for it.

could also use some time in the oven, maybe some way to provide feedback on whether tags should get specific where they need to be and vice-versa (i consider "multi-head" and "conjoinment" to signify different ideas for instance)

tl;dr something more like e6's tagging system would be awesome, just with a bit more control on the og artist's part

hoping it turns out better than twitter (at least for the next few years)

so i've been kind of in a funk for the past several months for some reason and i havent been able to give my all towards commissions

i think i may be starting to feel a little better, but i don't know for sure if i'm "ready" ready to come back. i do miss drawing for people

in any case whether I open or not, i'll be clearing any outstanding commission requests. if you really wanna see something drawn, hold onto your idea for when i reopen because i think what would help best after all this time of nothing is a nice clean slate and nothing on my mind while i get back into the zone.

i wanna see more skood art as much as you do; i appreciate your patience and interest as always!
