First off, lineart tier is going bye bye. Felt like a weird sterile middle point between my cooler tiers, and I want everything I make to feel 'finished' one way or the other.

Also decided to make my increase a bit less drastic after seeing ya'll's responses to the last journal, so no fears there.

so... back in 2017 when i was still doing FA requests, i was requested to draw game characters at a time when i was beginning to grow sick of em. instead of declining em like i SHOULD have done, i went ahead with it and in my frustration, gave the file the VERY unflattering name of 'cancer cerberus', and moved onto more personally appealing things, never giving it a second thought.

well a few months ago, i was talking around on theyton's discord during an idea drought about possibly opening requests again, and the requester in question (who has since left) reminded me of what i had done, admitting she had been hurt by what i did earlier, including my follow-up reply where i basically confirmed to her that i didn't like her request and got it out of the way so i could move on to 'better things'.

basically, i hurt someone. i didn't mean to, but i did, and i'm a worse person for it.

i do not apologize for my tastes at the time, but i do sincerely apologize for my tone, my manner, and the callousness in my treatment of something she likely held very near and dear to her.

i was wrong. i'm sorry.

It's been a while since I've done this, but I'm pleased to announce the reboot of the Ask Blog (which elsewhere on FA apparently goes by the more fitting name of Q&A).

This time, the roster has been expanded not only to my 'main' characters, but anyone in my 'Various OCs' folder as well! (oh and if you're so inclined, you can ask li'l old me something as well. :V)

Unfortunately, as this is a fresh start, I will not be answering the unanswered questions in the previous journal (which is also deleted). However, you are now allowed to ask as many questions as you can think of (provided you only ask one question per comment for the purposes of efficient screencapping.)

So anyway, the reason I wanted to try doing away with slots this time around was to encourage more people to leave requests without worrying about there not being enough room or being too late to submit anything or whatever. Overall, I'm happy with the reception I got, and I look forward to drawing these cool ideas!

An experiment I want to try out.

Basically, this will work like a regular request journal, but I won't be putting down a specific number of available slots. You'll just have to leave your requests and hope I like them enough to draw them for you!

Some time later, I'm going to pick my favorite requests and create another journal announcing the "winners". (But don't be sad if I don't end up picking your request!)

I wonder how this will play out? :P
