Since I haven't been writing much TF lately (yet) here's some other TF writers to watch (in no particular order).

1)  Zen~ : If you already aren't watching Zen, you should be. Brilliant writing, a great variety of TFs, cheeky humor, and just the writing concentration of detail and process. Give hiim a look, he's sure to have something you'll love.

2)  Dashing-Zilla : A newer writer to keep an eye on! I was impressed by what he put out on DA and he's expanded here, so give his stuff a look! He's great at building up to a TF and then pacing out the process to a satisfying conclusion. He's got a small selection write now, but I anticipate it will grow!

3)  GrandMarquisOrias : An established writer who's written a wide variety of TFs and has a good amount of SFW and NSFW tales. Also some really long ones too! Their humour and wit is especially good and their characters always have a lot of, well, character.

Give them a look!

Just thoughts:

TF is still fun and sometimes interesting to me, but I don’t find myself like as much of the content as I used to. Maybe because my tastes have become narrower? Doubt it has to do with what’s being made or who, but it’s not as enticing as it used to be. I guess it a alright to fall into a niche, which I think already happened to my tf writing long ago. After all, why not view and write what you like?

Writing. I’ve written a couple of tf stories in the past year but I don’t think I’ll be posting them here anytime soon. Not that they’re transgressive or anything but I think I could do better and I’m not sure I’d want to read them.

Pictures. I probably commission too much art. I kind of want to write things related to those pics. Not sure if there’s any interest there, mine or otherwise.

Commissions. Been pondering doing them again just to create the need to write something but there’s a couple problems with this. One is that as I get older my time is even more valuable (it already was I just didn’t know) and I feel like I’d have to charge a bit more for these to be worth it. I’ve been burned on trades too many time for that to be a great option. The second problem is that I don’t always want to write what people want me to write for them (see above for tf pickiness and niches). So if I did do commissions, I’d be rather selective.

Writing (again!). I’ve also been writing non-tf, non-furry stuff but I’d like to write some tf. So as always, if you have any suggestions or thoughts on what you’d like to see me write or what I’ve written above, let me know below. No promises, but maybe it’ll spark something (at least a conversation).

Hope ya'll have been well in this rather tumultuous year. Things have been busy on my end, but I've been figuring things out after a recent move. Just a few updates on things:


1) Recommend reading: It may be no secret to some of you that I've been on a synth kick lately, and I've been to see some synth stories either come to fruition whether it be a trade, comm, or just someone deciding to write one. Here's some standouts:

Hard Reboot by  sloe : When hazardous work environments and personal issues collide, an insecure scientist finds himself with a growing problem! (Un)luckily for them, the laboratory computer may have a solution...

The Art of Design by  Saared555 : A long tale of synth TFTG with a good amount of buildup, an inventive way of tackling the TF, and a great aftermath. There's also a few references tucked within this tale, and a good bit of humor to the dialogue and character interactions. Well worth a read!

Synth-esizing Solutions by  Yiffsite : A rather lewd tale of transformation where corporate sabotage leads to two scheming scientists not quite getting the upper hand on each other and instead experiencing some sultry synthetic shifts.

Maybe I'll write my own Synth TFTG tale soon...

2) Writing: Have barely been writing, and certainly no TF writing. That being said, I might be able to get a short TF or two out here before the year is out. What sort of stories would ya'll like to see from me?

3) Posting: Sorry about the recent image dump, but I had to get some stuff posted after holding off for so long. I also still have a few more TF stories to post. Would ya'll like to see a cow TFTG, a bimbo Pokemon TFTG, or a goat TFTG next?

I've started up a discord server with the intent of it being a place to discussion transformation stories, writing, ideas, and a place to finds others for feedback and editing. I plan to have featured stories/writers and a weekly question for discussion later down the line, but that's a WIP. It's also a place to hang out and meet other TF fans if you'd like.

The story must fit the theme “status shift.” Examples include stories where a character gains or loses control, reputation, rank, role, or position, but this requirement can be accomplished in many ways, and you should feel free to be creative in your interpretation.
Max word count: 7532
Story must include a transformation
Story must be written for this competition (no stories that have already been posted will be accepted)
Story must be posted publicly
Story must be submitted by 11PM PST (GMT -8hrs) October 7th
One entry per person
Story can be adult or SFW

I've had it for a bit, but I'm going to try to be more active on it especially in regards "TF Tuesday." Expect mostly TF thoughts, commission retweets, and other TF stuff.

I can't believe it's been another year already and now five in total that I've been writing transformation tales. Wow! As I said last year, I never thought I'd be writing this stuff for so long and neither did I think I'd ever develop much of an audience for my weird writings. Over 180 stories and 1600 watchers later and it's easy to see now that some people do like my weird writings indeed! Thanks to everyone who continues to read my stories and especially thanks to those who've stuck with me through this time. I hope ya'll continue to read and enjoy my stories, and maybe even leave a comment sometime, since I currently have more than a few stories to post in the coming months. Thanks for reading and supporting my writings, here's to five years and what's more to come and what's more to share with ya'll.

As for what's to come next, well, it seems something foxy...

Just a short update!

1. Writing has still been going well! Got a few new stories done and have a few new ideas of mine own I want to hack at. Also got a longer comm that will take a bit to do...
2. Speaking of comms, comms are open for a little bit longer. Again, a cent per word and I can't guarantee I'll take on everything. I'll update this journal and my profile when I'm done taking them.

Since my last journal, I've managed to write a few TF stories and I'm feeling more confident (and interested) in my writing again. I'll post them later down the line once I've exhausted my older story backlog, but suffice to say I'm back on track! So, expect some more regular posting along with stories a little bit different than what I usually post (I think). I'm also open for a very limited amount of comms at a cent per word, so if you've got something in mind then shoot me a note! Can't promise I'll take on too many (or even more than two) but the option is open for the time being.
