Bewm! Armored Core Model Kits ahoy!
General | Posted 16 years agoSo I've been floating around FA in some way, shape, form, or manner and decided that my gallery was collecting some dust. So I decided to upload some pictures I've taken of some recent accomplishment for this month. And those would be my two recently constructed Armored Core model kits.
These suckers are complex, anywhere from 400 to 500 tiny ass pieces that have to be put together. Most of em snap into place, but some kits require glue and stuff. They also tend to be quite fragile, some parts often being so small or thin that it requires minimal effort before *clik* "aww crap!".
But yeah, if ya are into Armored Core and stuff and wanna see what some of these model kits look like, hit up my gallery and have a peak around. I'm uploading shots of cores such as White Glint (AC:FA) and Supplice (AC4 and a kit that is limited edition). I have also built core's such as a Tellus frame (AC4) and Nineball (AC: Ninebreaker).
Armored Core to get List:
1. Vanguard Overbooster (releases in November)
2.) Noblesse Oblige (releases also in November)
3.) Unsung (Thermidor's Mech - Unknown release date)

So yeah... Another journal! oh shiiii- run!
General | Posted 18 years agoAlrighty, I updated my profile on my homepage, just in case some people haven't read it yet if they happened to be interested. I suppose it's probably a little long, but hey I was bored and wanted to type up something XD.
I've also changed a bit more of the information displayed on the page too, so feel free to delve around that info too should you want too.
In the mean time, I suppose I'd use this journal to inform some that once again, I'm not dead, I've just been lurking in those shadows. Not only that, but I've been having way too much fun with my new 26" HDTV. Got various stuff connected to it, including my PC! Whee!
Also, expect to see some new gift art in my gallery real soon. A very good friend of mine, Vogel, has drawn these for me out of the kindness of his heart. I wanted to upload these images sooner, but being busy with the new job and all, its been keeping me on my toes too much. Hopefully tomorrow I'll get these onto my gallery for everyone's viewing pleasure. I also want to get more people interested in his artwork.
Lately I've been wanting to write and draw lately, but I can't establish a storyline worth a shit (my writers block is about to enter its 3rd or 4th year :/) and I've spent so much time away from drawing that I've lost a majority of my half-assed talent. Even if I can't draw very well, I'm hoping that a tablet, flash, and references will help get me back on track.
Either way, I'm off to enjoy one last round of Armored Core 4 against some random person before I tuck in for the night and head to work in the morning...
See ya,

An update on my life.
General | Posted 18 years agoWell this is just an update on my rather dull life at the moment. Nothing really spectacular has happened lately aside from a few things I suppose, both good and bad.
I shall start with some of the bad. As some may know, about two weeks ago or so my computer's PSU (Power Supply Unit) exploded. Not necessarily boom boom, but definitely up in smoke. Nothing beats the hideous stench of an electrical fire and burning plastic, yay... Losing the PSU was the least of my concern though, I was more concerned about any other damage that the internal components may have suffered from such a serious incident.
So I spent the next few days pacing the floor wondering if my computer was completely totaled, unable to install a sufficient temporary PSU to attempt a full power up. Luckily for me though, a friend was building his own computer rig just a few days after my computer took a dive. He wanted me to help, since he had never built a computer before, and I was more than happy to oblige his request, that and I wanted to see if I could perhaps borrow his 700W PSU for a couple of seconds to see if my computer would even boot up.
When that day finally came, it was about an hour from midnight when I got the call. It was about ten minutes before I was at his house and we were unpacking his parts. I setup my rig and removed the side panel, dropping in the rather heavy 700W PSU into my computer. It was more than enough power to get my computer back onto its feet and running strong. Satisfied that it was only my PSU that went out, I unhooked his own PSU, packed up my computer, and began to assemble his own.
About ten minutes till four A.M. and the entire build was completed and was running Windows XP Pro. Aside from my envy (the bastard got a 8800GTS graphics card and a 3.0 Ghz AMD X2 for christ sakes!) I was proud of the effort to construct another power hungry gaming machine. Not to mention I was also relieved that my computer was undamaged.
So back home I went, spending about 30 minutes online my laptop as I browsed for parts (I refused to sleep until I found some suitable parts). It didn't take me long before I found a replacement PSU as well as a new harddrive and Processor. I was sick of my old 40GB IDE harddrive and the heavy bottleneck it established in my system, as well as my lack of a dual core processor seated in my system... so what better to replace those parts with than a 320GB SATA Western Digital Caviar with SecurePark technology (Read up on it if you dont' know what it is and know that I transport my computer a lot to LAN's) and a Dual Core AMD Opteron 165 1.8 Ghz processor.
I ordered my parts and went to bed, feeling extremely edgy the next 4 to 5 days as I waited for my computer parts to come in (I ordered them from newegg on a friday... go figure). Monday the replacement PSU came in, and on tuesday my new HDD and CPU arrived. I quickly dropped the parts in (after flashing my motherboard BIOS TWICE for CPU support... oiy) and reinstalled windows. God it is so much faster now...
So thats that one I suppose, good and a bad too XD.
On another part of me I've been job scouting. Haven't had much luck since my move back to Wisconsin 3 years ago, on and off jobs... bleh... So, I'm hoping to strike up a more stable job at the local casino. Wish me luck, god knows I'll need it...
And so yeah, thats a bit of an update I guess. So I'll leave ya with that. Hope I didn't bore ya too badly with that XD. Catcha around either way.

Ish mah birthday day!
General | Posted 18 years agoWell yeah, it almost escaped my thoughts as to why today was a bit more important than the other days. Of course, as already stated, today is the annual celebration of breaking free of a calcium dense shell called an egg.
Either way, drench me in confetti and rape me silly, i don't care *laughs*. Hopefully today will be a bit more out of the ordinary, at least I'm hoping. Nothing like a bowl full of Chaos to kick the day off... Yeah yeah, i know its 3:30 in the morning, I should probably sleep.
....
What? Why are you staring at me like that? Did you see me eat Winnie the Pooh and then me bouncing around on my tail like some giant spring like Tigger?
.....?
Oh right, the rape thing... *tucks tail between legs*
>.>
<.<
YOU'LL HAVE TO CATCH ME FIRST! *cliche sound of speed followed by a plume of dust in his wake* AH KU KU KU KU YEEEEEEAAAAAHHHHH!!

Curious about Furs on Maplestory
General | Posted 19 years agoSo yeah, here I am just browsing through FA when all of a sudden I begin to think about how many furs play a free MMORPG for PC called Maplestory.
As so may know I recently put my MS playing on hold to a pursue a much more fun game, PSO.
But yeah, I'm just curious about any furs who are playing Maplestory, what their levels are, and what server they're on. I'll list my own info below.

I'M NOT DEAD! O.o
General | Posted 19 years agoI suppose I have been kinda inactive with some posting and stuff around here at FA. Some people have gotten the impression that I've fallen off the edge of the world. Perhaps this is true, but its not permanent!
Still sadder than sad, I still haven't come into possession of a scanner yet for some of my drawings. I'm waiting for something good to come along my eyes one day, and I've yet to actually see such a piece of equipment as of yet. Rest assured, one day it will come... Just not yet. ><
In all honesty, I really haven't been drawing much for a couple months now. I dunno why, I guess it just seems that I don't have the time right now. So much running around and other crap... I just don't see how some people can juggle the time, or maybe I'm just lazy. Probably the last one... dammit...
So for now I guess I'll be just doing some pr0n submissions of some argonians from TES: Oblivion. Don't hate me, please ><;
Well I guess thats it... Sorry if I bored you >.>

First Journal Entry >.>
General | Posted 19 years agoWell I guess I was bound to get around to it sometime, but here it is, my first journal entry.
I just recently got my hands on a laptop finally and I have to say that I'm enjoying it. Being able to take a computer where-ever the hell I feel like it is very enjoyable. Its nothing special, but it is nice. A compaq presario V6000 something... Not exactly exotic, but it performs well. I was going to get an alienware, but decided not too.
I also had the opportunity to replace the old dusty corded router of mine with a wireless one, to compliment my laptop purchase. I just thought it was time I joined the wireless internet revolution, and its fun XD
In other news my gamer desktop is needing a reformat. I had a temporary hardware failure about a month ago and it botched up windows. AVG and SysMetrix will freeze windows for no apparent reason at times, yay software stupidity. Not only that the desktop is just getting slow in general. I would reformat it, but I'm lazy.
I haven't been drawing much either. Unfortunately my scanner took a crash and burn bit a while back, and so I haven't been able to get any decent stuff scanned out. I do have some other stuff right now, but I may upload that at another time. Who knows...
I've been trying to get over my freakishly long writer's block as well, and have started to write out several stories as proof, but sadly I've never gotten around to completing a single of one of them. Hell, even "Slaying the Void" is still a WIP, and I've written little on it... Its so annoying, this blasted writer's block..
IN OTHER NEWS:...
A new arrival to FA, CritterWeaver, is writing a story and he needs some help. Instead of using his own characters, he wishes to use real people for such. He needs 51 people, but he has a deadline so time is running out. There are still positions that need to be filled, and so I'm asking you to help him out!
You can find out all about CritterWeaver and his story at his FA page, http://www.furaffinity.net/user/CritterWeaver
If your really lazy, you can go directly to here to suggest yourself >.>
http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/63836/
To quote Jade-scale and several entries in his journal:
http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/63835/
"Send him a note with your requested position and he'll put you in his story, sweet deal, I think, for you to be incorporated in what he has already gone through with me for nothing at all.
Keep in mind, there's no guarantee you'll be good or evil, survive or die in his novel, you run the risks."
And that will probably do it for my first journal entry. Not sure if you would consider this long or short, but either way I'm finished with this XD
