Eschewing any religious explanation, which is usually more confusing that enlightening, there does not seem to be any reason or sense for humans to exist. When you start taking in the endlessness of space and the timelessness of the universe, we are mighty insignificant.
I believe we are just a quirk of matter and energy that evolved on the planet. We have no more reason to exist than our tiny star, the sun. Intelligence and self awareness is just a side effect of our physical level.
Keep in mind that if there is no end to space or time, so anything that can happen , will happen.
That said, I believe it best to live in harmonywith the earth and each other, enjoy our emotional, physical and mental capabilities and do as little harm to each other and our planet as we can. Because we are social creatures, we need to protect ourselves and our homes, care for our young and old and produce those neccessities for a good life.
We are neither dirt nor godlike. Just humans, here for a few years and than gone.
Why are we here?
We are here because, more than ten billion years ago, the universe borrowed energy from the vacuum to create vast amounts of matter and antimatter in nearly equal numbers. Most of it annihilated and filled the universe with photons. Less than one part per billion survived to form protons and neutrons, and then the hydrogen and helium that makes up most everything there is. Some of this hydrogen and helium collapsed to make the first generation of massive stars, which produced the first batch of heavy elements in their central nuclear fires. These stars exploded and enriched the interstellar clouds that would form the next generation of stars. Finally, about five billion years ago, one particular cloud in one partcular galaxy collapsed to form our Sun and its planetary system. Life arose on the third planet, based on the hydrogen, carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, and other elements found in the protostellar cloud. The development of life transformed Earth's atmosphere and allowed small furry mammals to take center stage. Primative men and women evolved and moved out of Africa to conquer the world with their new knowledge of tools, language, and agriculture. After raising food on the land, your ancestors, your parents, and then you consumed this food and breathed the air. Your own body is a collection of the atoms that were created billions of years earlier in the interior of stars, the fraction of a fraction of a percent of normal matter that escaped annihilation in the first microsecond of the universe. Your life and everything in the world around you is intimately tied to countless aspects of modern astrophysics.
Does God exist?
It is in need of pointing out that this question has been asked since the time of our first conscious awareness. Even though it varies in how it is asked, no other notion is anywhere near as universally represented in the thoughts of humans. When it comes to the question, “Does God Exist,” there are really only two possible conclusions: God either is, or He isn’t. There’s no half-way. There’s no sliding scale. Whether you’re an atheist or whether you’re a theist, there’s a certain level of knowledge, and there’s a certain level of faith. The glaring conclusion to this ubiquitous enquiry is definitive proof that the answer is not forthcoming by normal observation. If it were, then billions of humans would have no need of asking it. Many thousands of peoples and races have made up answers to satisfy our inherent need-to-know mentally. These answers vary to such a degree, that their only commonality is in the acceptance without evidence, of the existence of a supernatural realm.

General | Posted 17 years agoI guess I have been uploading all my pictures to both DeviantArt and Furaffinity because I know there are many people in both galleries not stalking me in the other one, but there are also people taking an eye in both places.... so it was surely annoying somehow to check for the same picture in two different places :3
So, I have removed all my mature-art from DeviantArt, so I will keep it here only. And, also, I guess random pictures, and normal ones, will be at deviantART only to not mess this place with too many drawings, unless I'm specially proud of a picture, enough to post it everywhere :D hehehe
However, I will still upload everything at skifi dot net, as some kind of backup archive. Just in case I feel like taking a look at the overall album, or to search for a really old pic :3
So it gets easier to track me around ^^ hehehe

General | Posted 17 years ago- To find a way to unban myself from FurBid, or to get a FurBuy account.... lately I have been in the good mood to bid in some interesting auctions there, and I haven't had the chance to because of this.
- To buy some DVD-Rs and back-up my data.... the laptop drive sounds like a 1960 car engine o___O;;
- To decide when and how I will attend AC, to set the dates and then book the plane tickets before they skyrocket. Didn't even have the chance to talk to Seel to check if I am going to stay at her place before the con, after, or never ever x3;;
- To try my best to create a suitable banner for FA header... if I can get a subject xD
- To get my DA account back: There's a certain blue hijacker bunny getting me on my nerves... x3;;; *sighs*
- To update this journal more often.... o_____o

General | Posted 18 years ago1. Is there anyone on your friends list you would ever consider having sex with?
Well, some of them are really temtping, but there are no real chances.... even if, as I usually say, never say never ever!
2. Sex in the morning, afternoon or night?
If you feel like it, as often as possible. It's a nice exercise to keep you in a good shape
3. What side of the bed do you sleep on?
My bed is tiny enough to use both sides at the same time.... but when I have used a bigger one, I like the right side more, i tend to turn my face that side.
4. Pork, beef, or chicken?
Beef always wins 83;;;
5. Have you ever had to pull over on the side of the road to puke?
Nope. It's really hard to make me puke. Really hard.
6. Have you ever taken your clothes off for money?
No, but Truth or Dare games are tooooo dangerous sometimes.... x3;;
7. Shower or bath?
Bath wastes too much water, so I'm considerated and shower only :3 If I want to swim, I go to the pool, lol.
8. Do you pee in the shower?
I'm not proud of it, but I do... XD Hey, it's clean and sterile, and you're going to get all clean after all, if you are showering, right? ^^;;
9. Mexican or Chinese?
Spanish 83;;;; It ALWAYS tastes better!
10. Do you want someone aggressive or passive in bed?
It depends. Variety is fun. And there are a lot of things you can do in bed, sex aside :3 Have you ever tried a jumping competition or a pillows battle?

If I fall in love with somebody, they need to be my friends first.

Christmas sins

ANGER
1. With whom did you last get angry?: With a guy in Richmond Airport security check, making me miss my plane to come back home ;3;
2. What is your weapon of choice?: Sarcasm
3. Would you hit a member of the opposite sex?: Love, the same than hage, is genderless.... xD Even with that, I'm not the kind of guy hitting people, so it doesn't happen, male or female.
4. How about of the same sex?: As said before
5. Who was the last person who got really angry at you?: Well, I guess it was Seel, but because she has been the only one close to me the past 3 weeks, so of course not too many people had the chance to get angry at me lately, but her xD.
6. What is your pet peeve?: When I feel neglected.
7. Do you keep grudges, or can you let them go easily?: I forgive really fast, I barely forget.... XD So FEAR!!!.

General | Posted 18 years agoI sometimes feel different from a lot of artists here because I use a quite uncommon program to do my colorwork with the computer. I know 80% people here in FA use the almighty Photoshop, and some others use Painter or OpenCanvas... While the one I use is Paint Shop Pro 7.04 (old version, in fact.... I think the current one is ver.11), or, as I call it, PSP.
Since PSP was the cheaper program I was able to afford, that's the one I got used to handle.... no tutorials, no manuals, just try and mistake... to find out how the tools worked, to make my own tricks, to realize what I was able to do... and to do with it all the wonders others do with more powerful programs....
But, later, well, I have gotten some copies of better, upgraded programs, thanks to some friends, and I bet it's easier, and faster, to do the same wonders with them than with PSP.... I bet the brushes of Photoshop are awesome, and layers are surely easier there.... but, well, for some reason, it's hard to change from PSP to Photoshop, even if I know I need to....
I feel also that I will put aside one of the few things making my art look unique and original... maybe not so High Qualty neither Awesome as the others you can easily find around FurAffinity or other galleries, but.... I usually feel really well when I realize I can do good things with simple tools.... it makes me feel proud somehow, and I dunno if it will be the same with Photoshop.... or Painter, or whatever....

1st prize: As a way to lure you to try it, this is a chance to have a shot at a commission that would normally be quite expensive, drawn by seely and colored by skifi. Almost whatever you ask to be drawn, to a reassonable point, you may get it if you win: A single character or a small group, with background if you want so, digitally coloured. You will get a high quality copy of the file for print purposes, and will allow us to upload a shrinked, small version of it in our galleries.
