I am out of the hospital already. I have to be back every morning for two weeks at 8am for blood tests but still, I can go home. I'm so happy. In and out in under a week for a transplant. Very impressive health system!

So, it's been a few crazy busy days. Saturday morning I got a call dating to come into the hospital because they had a donor kidney for me. Did a bunch of prep work, no food or drink all day and a tube inserted into my neck. Went under general anaesthesia and woke up to find out they couldn't do the op because there was a problem with the donor kidney. Heartbreaking and totally gut wrenching since I was put under and everything. Stated the night in hospital, went home Sunday. Got a call first thing Monday morning while I was still in bed. Back to hospital, had another tube put in my neck in the same spot since they'd had to take out the other one (ouch!). Back into theatre, got the op done this time!! Yay! Since then I've slowly been weaned onto weaker pain tablets, am allowed food again and have been able to take a few steps. Doctors say I'm going really well. It's been less than three days since my op and I feel better already. Can't wait to get my life back together with my wonderful husband  sinbiowolf who has been in to see me every day and is busy making sure everyone close to me knows what's happening and is keeping everything organised for me <3

So would anyone be interesting in this type of thing for a commission? Not sure what sort of pricing to do either. Any ideas?

So, fellow artists, who else is a little tired of being asked to work for free? I put a lot of time and effort into what I do and I don't want to just give it away for nothing. I haven't been able to work for nearly two years so far and I have medications to buy. I don't want pity or anything, just for people to pay for my work. I don't think it's that bad that I should get nothing for it, is it?

So, as of yesterday  sinbiowolf and I are happily married. Such a great day. Perfect weather, good friends, lovely cake. Anyone want a couple pics?

Only 29 more days until  sinbiowolf and I are husband and wife. Dress is here, his clothes are bought, cake is paid for, venues are booked, RSVPs are coming in and I'm going dress shopping with the girls tomorrow. Busy busy

Please does anyone want art done? I'm doing two YCH auctions at the moment and I don't have a single bid. I'm only asking $5. I would really like some help here. I'm trying to earn a little bit of money for  sinbiowolf and I to put towards our wedding (36 days away) and since I can't work at the moment this is really all I can do. So I'm mad angry right now. Apparently I have to wait even longer before vein gout on the transplant list. All because I fit into an age category that they associate with being irresponsible. I've been living away from home for nearly 6 years, been taking care of my own dialysis for over a year and my dialyse site has not gotten infected even once. Why can't they view me as a person rather than an age group? It's bollocks that I'm being messed around and my health is being put in danger because of their preconceived notions about who I must be over something so arbitrary. I am much more mature than they've decided I am without knowing me
