I'm back but only kinda
Posted 5 years agoSo lets see here.. Just wanted to say I am very busy so things have been very slow around here. Look over at previous journals, looks like it's been 4 months since the journal's been updated!
So what's going on??? This new site look is a bit crazy right? I like it personally, but it also feels like they messed a lot of things up.
I do like having more things to see on the front page instead of the two or three rows of submissions
I also like having what feels like a larger .. large view when looking at art stuffs!
I do not like the organization of "next and previous" submissions to view. It's just a block of 6 and I'm constantly needing to look at it and think which one I'm supposed to click on to see the next upload and still end up going backward in the list.. That seemed like a terrible oversight when they redesigned things.
I also like the color scheme here.. It all kinda blends and harmonizes well together.
All in all.. they need to take another stab at this and change some real issues but there aren't really many as far as I'm seeing so far.
Okay so onto news and stuff.
I'm hoping I'll make the time to work on the things that have fell onto back burners as well as another "new" project for your reading pleasure so bare with me. I've been getting stretched between many different people to do all sorts of things with my time. My own projects over on A4 are suffering from it as well. But I'll continue as I am for now and get through it all so I can get back to work on things here again!.
I hope everyone's new year started off well and the rest of the year will be prosperous!! It is the year of the Rat after all. That tends to me financial luck!

Posted 6 years agoDon't worry, I haven't forgotten that this place exists or that I was talking about a new story to be told around here.. I've just been really super busy with a lot of things! It's all going kinda sorta well... but I mean.. it's really a lot of stuff going on over here. Anyone know how to make clones so I can have some help? I think I need more eyes and hands....

I'm streaming everyday right now over there for A4 Art Stuff for Inktober... I haven't been linking you guys here because again, no one ever expresses interest in A4 stuffs, and I don't like showing things to people when they aren't interested in them.. I feel like I'm just wasting their time, y'know?

Posted 6 years agoI'm a little late in saying that, but the 7th was my birthday and I spent it and the weekend before just mostly relaxing. And now I'm busy again!
So anyway, lets see, news for you guys.. Well the Patreon Calendar artwork is being released now. A couple of them were starting your favorite SEA characters, so you'll get to see those. One of them was already posted up this month! The rest aren't really furry related and as far as I can tell, you all don't really like anything I've done that isn't related to the furry community so I won't be posting those here.
But those that are actually interested in my non fuzzy artwork then I'm sure you'll see them around, whether it's over on the twitter or the facebook page!
Oh, I also took a look around Ami's ask blog on her tumblr and still nothing, but I noticed that I hadn't posted the ask ami's there in a while so those are currently going up. Though I wonder if anyone even uses tumblr anymore, so I'm going to say here for now, if you'd like to ask Ami or the other girls anything at all, you can now also just ask them here on FA somewhere I guess, and I can get around to letting her know.
In other other news that isn't too far from all of this, I'm still working on that web comic for over here, but this month has been a heavy A4 month so artwork here may be a little.. not existent ... sorta... We'll see. Just so many other things outside of SEA are getting work done and I really want to make it to a state of completion with something for once.

But seriously, I'm so busy with all kinds of stuff and getting time to work on things for this place has been hard. You guys don't care about my other work so you haven't been seeing all of the work I'm doing.
But don't worry, I've been trying to doodle some stuff for around here inbetween all of my other busy stuff and also working out things for yet another comic short for you all to enjoy. Still just need time.. and maybe I'll have it.. soon.. kinda sorta... If work slows down just a tiny bit, and other projects actually start working without me having to go through realizations of my not knowing what I'm doing, then I might actually get the comic complete!! if not almost done anyway..
Okay that's all.

Posted 6 years agoGood day everyone! We all made it to yet another Monday!! I hope your weekend was well!
This week I'll be getting back to work that I started 2 weeks ago as last week was filled with me going out and helping other people with things and I spent most of the end of that week recovering from being sick again and resting all of my aching bones and muscles... no fun. I'm actually STILL coughing today!!! Anyway, I'll be working this week to complete...work so you may not see all that much from me this week, but I'll try to sneak in a few things here and there. Next week is E3 so I really will be invisible around here next week! Outside of all of my gaming news I'll be spending that time getting done anything I couldn't this week.

Posted 6 years agoOkay not goodbye... while I was trying to think of a subject for this journal is just sounded good to me..
So first, Hello! I just wanted to make a journal for those of you who read these things to hope you're all having a wonderful holiday day if you're in the states, and that your new week has started off well otherwise. I myself am working as I do everyday, though I did take the weekend to rest again.

SICK!!!
Since the start of this month I've been sick. I don't take colds and flu very well at all. But I also rarely get sick...
Onto the status part! So what's going on?
Well I'm currently working out something for the $10 tier on the Patreon for A4 Art Stuff. For the one of you that read these, I do have a patreon, but it's not for Skunkandant so none of the artwork that I post here is gated behind that. it's for my main brand, A4 Art Stuff, which is a safe for work, cute and adorable art place. Currently I only have a $1 tier reward being a calendar wallpaper that I make, and at $3 the patrons get WIPs and stuff like that. Since I'm currently busy with work, I don't always have the time to work on big things for the patreon or for things here on FA (I wanted to do another short comic starring Anna and Sano... and there's also a Summer comic I wanted to do too...)
Anyway, I was thinking of doing something like, letting the $10 reward for now be that those patrons get to pick the character that goes onto the monthly calendar that I do. It can even be their own OCs.
Oh but that's not all I'm doing. Even though I said I'm busy with work, I have been jotting down notes for those comics I mentioned and I have been wanting to just.. draw Anna and Sano a lot lately <_< love birds...
Oh oh, and also I'll be working out some new overlays for art streams back on Picarto so I can do more "furry" streams for you guys. Since no one really talks about my A4 stuff with me, I end up having to assume that when I do stream, you all only want furry related content, and that's fine! But when I do get back to Picarto, I'll have a pretty and fun and new overlay and it'll be great!

Just a quick update, I've been quite busy with other work and have been sick for basically this entire month, since the 1st! Art has been a little slow around here, but if you're curious about other artwork that comes from me, don't forget that SEA is not my main brand! A4 Art Stuff is where I really live and there have been character birthdays and other art happening over there. I don't post A4 art here so to see it you'll have to follow me elsewhere. Posted 6 years agoI just wanted to thank everyone who left their words on my last journal. I was not feeling so great and am still not feeling the BEST, but I'm feeling way better than I was. Soon everything that was really bothering me should be dealt with and I can get back to work.. I have a short amount of time left to do.. honestly what felt like a humongous list of stuff, but only like ONE thing has a real deadline for the end of the month, well.. two actually, everything else easily can be set aside with all of the crap going on this month, which I am totally okay with and clients seems okay with as well, so I will be .. well not relaxing, but I'll feel relaxed at least while I do what I have to do this week, and then next month, I begin anew with all of my goals laid out, waiting to be accomplished!!
This week, I actually have quite a few questions for you all, so I really hope you give me your input on them all!!
Number 1
Did you read through the winter comic? What did you think of it? Would you be interested in seeing a second one? I have a small short story concerning Lala and what she was up to before she bumped into Mephtia's group! I'd like to draw it out as time comes to do it. There is also a summer comic that I had to put off last year and would like to do it this year, if it's something that you all are interested in seeing that!
Number 2
Ask Ami's are coming back in March!! I have quite a few questions to get through! I wish I had time this month to work on them, some were kinda specific timing wise so some may not get answers they were hoping for or may even have to be saved for another time.. I.. am not sure what my question was going to be here.. but if you would like to have a question or anything said to any of the girls just head over to tumblr! The ask blog should still be standing I think!
Number 3
Now that we're really into this year, I'd like to know, what are you looking forward to this year? This could be something like a movie or book or a video game or maybe an event happening like a concert or a play! Or how about something more personal, something that you will be doing for yourself, like learning a new instrument or other skill!!

Question of the Week!!!
Posted 6 years agoHello, it's been .. on only 3 weeks? Man this month has been so bad for me... I've been going through some things, bouts of laziness, bouts of right side of my body pain, listlessness and today kinda falling into a dark .. mood.. I dun like that mood and I'm trying to run away from it because the question of "what's the point" is something I only ever want to utter again when I'm trying to understand why big Hollywood writers and directors can't understand how to make a good live adaptation!!
Anyway, with all that in mind I guess my question of the week to you all is, When you're feeling down or out of it, what do you tend to do to bring yourself around? How do you get yourself to stand up again and keep walking forward?A Quick STREAM!! IS OVER NOW!!!!!

Another Monday, another Week
Posted 6 years agoHello! How is everyone doing this week? I hope your weekend was nice! As for me, I have a lot of client work to get through this week so unfortunately, my winter comic uploads will be delayed a bit more... I still have coloring and lettering to do, but that won't take forever to do, just as soon as I am able to start doing it.
In other news, I have been streaming a tad more often, still hammering out a schedule, but it'll be happening for sure! I hope to have a lot of fun things for my viewers to do with the streams! For now, it's just been, "watch me back all of my stream assets!" But once all of those assets are done, it'll be fun and games in stream!
Kay I guess that's it, so let's get to my patent pending QUESTION OF THE WEEK!!!

Posted 6 years agoGood day everyone!! I hope you all have been well this past weekend. So it seems like I'm going to be making journals once a week and that would be a schedule to some people, and so I'd like to extend this concept to streaming!! at least twice a week, once over on Twitch for A4 Art Stuff, and once over at Picarto for SkunkandAnt!!
Just letting you know that I'll be working on this, but what do you all think? If any of you like watching streams and being in the chats and things, when would be a wonderful day/time during the week for me to stream to be convenient for you? The majority of you are silent so you could find this as a way to monopolize on timing things just for you! Or at the very least make sure that you have the best chance to catch a stream you may wish to hang out in.
That's mainly all I wanted to say this week. But keep your eyes open later on this week, we'll be having a winter comic uploading very soon!!
And that's all! This time for real! Except I have yet another thing that I'm making a normal thing as well and that's the QUESTION OF THE WEEK!!
So I'd like to know if any of you have started on any big plans yet? Or if not, what do you want to accomplish this year? Have anything important to you that you want to see through to the end? This year can be a wonderful time to work toward those goals! No matter how slow it seems, a snail will get across the street as long as it keep moving forward!

Posted 6 years agoA new year means a brand new set of 365 days to remember to stop writing 2018 on your homework and other documents!
Plans for the future; Way WAY more content over on the Youtube channel! It's going to be fun! I have a lot of new videos I want to try and lots more timelapses that I want to start doing. I'm getting better with my painting process I think, and I think I'm ready to try my hand and recording it, which should force me to finish perfecting it and then refining it.
Question of the week, (I think I'm going to start making this a thing too) What do you plan to do differently in 2019? Or do you have any goals you'd like to reach?

So my notifications are telling me that I have 299 watchers. Now I think this is actually a lower number if you look on the page but as I said the last time, I never delete my watcher notifications. And so I'll be rewarding my number 300 with a free art!!
But that doesn't mean anything for you guys so I'll also be holding a raffle!! Before I reach 300 you get a chance to have your name added to a list to be raffled for art too! Posted 7 years ago...is apparently Transgender Awareness Month, and as some people are taking quite a liking to her, I'm going to be making the month of November, the Month of Anna!! (Even though she's not technically trans)
So expect a lot of Anna art!! Are you a fan of hers? What do you like so much about her? Don't forget you can ask her whatever you want through Ami on her Ask Ami blog!
Speaking of that, I still have more Ask Ami's to work on! And it just so happens that Anna is a big part of some of those, so look forward to that!
In other news, I'm going to be looking into some new video editing software so I can get back to the youtube channel! Keep your fingers crossed for me!

Streaming!! I'm thinking of using Friday's as my streaming day. So let me know what you think of that, friday feels like a good time for streaming. Now to be clear, this will be Picarto streaming for SkunkandAnt. I am also on Twitch for A4 Art Stuff, and I was thinking Wednesdays for those. Again, let me know what you think of that day for streams...
And speaking of streams, I'd like to know if you enjoy catching my streams on Picarto. And also, would you want to take part in my streaming on Twitch? My A4 Art Stuff is less furry but it's still stuff. It's where I was streaming the Angelice (the ghost) art! It's still the same old good time, just on Twitch!

If November has taught me anything, it's that that month doesn't seem to be very special on it's own or very universal! Yes we have Thanksgiving here but I'm kinda trying to avoid that as a theme..
