Posted 7 years agoNot a big big deal for you guys here with SkunkandAnt, but my After Effects isn't functioning completely properly, and there has been a whole lot of other things that have been going wrong, not working and all in all just building huge thick walls in front of me... In the last maybe week and a half I have gotten basically nothing done. All of this work was for A4 Art Stuff though... However I guess with all of this stuff stopping me from completing my work, that also means that SkunkandAnt hasn't really had time for anything either...
Aaaaanywaaaayy... Ask Ami's will be on the way in due time as well as some other arts and things, so stay tuned, I'm sorry for being so quiet on the upload side of things...

Posted 7 years agoSo I'm super super busy with a lot of stuff. A4 is slowly coming back to life over on Youtube, I have 3 videos planned, one of which are for Halloween timelapse of art that I'll be posting here so look forward to it!! Other than that I'm learning a bunch of stuff too so it's taking a lot with this.. but it should be for a good.. cause??? thing????
Anyway, I don't "actually" have 290 watchers right now, but since I don't delete watcher feed news, it SAYS I have 290 right now! So I thought I would do a little Kiriban again like I did when I made it to 200!!
So while this doesn't mean that any of you current watchers get to catch it, it does mean that I'm going to be holding a raffle for all of you current watchers when the Kiriban is reached! But what would it be??? Well, I'm kinda thinking that I want to start putting my Patreon $1 reward out to the public.. kinda... more like to the patrons...
You see, the $1 reward is a high quality desktop background/calendar!! I spend a lot of effort to make it look nice and pretty, and all for a single dollar a month!! Even though I just started doing these a few months ago I feel like I'll run out of ideas with my own characters at some point, so to help aliviate this inevitability, I want to open up the featured character in these calendars to not just my own. What do you think? A raffle closing when I reach 300 watchers according to my feed whose prize is that upcoming month's patreon reward calendar?
Let me know what you think and if you think such a reward is nice for a single dollar a month! ... because it's been this way since the beginning and I enjoy doing them too!

A new Month!

The Patreon grows! Remember that for now there are two types of things available there; A high quality desktop calendar for the $1 tier, and a forever updating Character Base file at $10. All of the funds from there go toward me making more content freely for all of you! Bigger and better projects! And remember also that these aren't blocked off behind it, just a way to help fund them!
It's finally time to cristin the new computer!! It needs a name! A Gender! AND A HUMANIZATION!!!
This will be happening in a Stream at a later date and I'm going to need YOUR HELP!!!! I'd like you all to hang out with me in stream and help me name and personify this computer as it will be the one providing all of the upcoming artwork! We will draw it together in Picarto and then I will finish the artwork over on Twitch, so it would be great if you guys would come over to the A4 Art Stuff side as well!
I'm going to be taking part in Inktober this year! I think it'll be fun! I always see everyone else doing it each year and I always tell myself I don't have time. But not this year!!! I'm gonna do some fun stuff!!
Ask Ami's continue this month! Be prepared to learn more about Mephita and Ms. Kaala! Also Anna as something in there too! I.. don't actually know what happened but it's gone!! Shut down and out of business!! I just hope the family is okay.. They were literally on the corner of my block! Maybe a 40 ssecond walk from my house..
So now I have to walk 10 minutes to Target or Shoprite for my house things like milk and bread.. but even more importantly; I won't get to have my 7ELEVEn cookies anymore!!!!! They were my favorite thing and they're gone!!
It really hurt removing my little cookie addiction thing from all of my journals and signatures for future posts.. I know none of you ever actually would toss a dollar to such a cause but... still.. I don't know if it was THEIR cookies or what... but if you have a 7ELEVEn near you, go out and buy one of their cookies.. give it a try. It's a single dollar for 2 fairly large soft baked chocolate chip cookies. They absorb milk so perfectly too... u_u

State of Things Currently
Posted 7 years agoSo hello everyone, here's the ... tizzy? whatever the young folks are saying these days..
New computer is here as I think I already stated.. And my Cinitq is now finally playing nice with it. A stream is still a little far away, having some trouble figuring out my audio stuff with this new computer. Plus I'm busy at the moment with stuff for Patreon and then a few other commissions.
I plan on starting on the next set of Ask Ami's by the end of the week as well. I was looking at some of the questions that came in and got some good ideas and they should be fun to do and read!
I also may do a test stream.. hopefully today.. to see if I can get my audio stuff figured out.
Also speaking of stream, I wanted to have you guys work together to help me name my new computer and give it a persona of its own! We'll see how it goes, but it should be a lot of fun for all of us.. but first gotta get that audio stuff figured out!
What else.... bleh, I guess that's all I wanted to say for now. To the Patrons out there, thanks again and just wait until you see the october calender, I think it'll be pretty fun, and don't forget that you can make suggestions for the Character Base as well. Soon we'll make it to my goal so I can start giving away Prints too!!

I'm also making this to have it written down in another place!
So New computer should be here tomorrow since.. it's like 6 o'clock already...
With new computer, I'll be doing yet another transfer of my CSP, Adobe Master Collection, Redownloading OBS and Audacity and Soundflower, recreating audio channels for streaming, resetting up my different UIs for CSP and redownloading brushes/remaking my old tweaks for my workspace.
Streams will happen to celebrate and to help find a name for the new computer! First on Picarto for SEA, and later on Twitch for A4 ....since A4 has zero following on twitch it'd be neat if you guys stopped by when it started and gave the parent brand some love.. but you don't have to.. wish I could sub the sub in this text...
Ask Ami's will start up again and a new comic featuring them will be in the works.
As an aside, I'd like to thank those of you becoming a patron already, it's you guys that will be making content happen on more of a regular basis. I'll be working on adding a few other things to the Patreon, since I brought it up, and now that the new computer will be here soon, such as, free sketch streams with possible finishing of those sketches at a discounted price, since the hard work would have been figured out during a stream.. We'll see about it though..
Once I have a few other things stapled down I can start posting videos to Youtube again finally!! This is the A4 side so not much going on with FA or SkunkandAnt but it's still art related so I'm sure you guys would enjoy what I have planned!
Finally I still want to do something with you guys, like some kind of small project that will get you all involved and the finished product would be strictly because of you. I have a small idea of how to test it out and we'll see what happens from there..
Okay, most of the notes are down so I'll be heading off as I have much to figure out!

Anyway, some news! new computer is.. STILL on it's way.. Apparently Apple doesn't know how to get things shipped together, and more over doesn't know how to inform a customer about separate shipping dates before the delivery of the first items occurs.. So I'll be waiting for a bit longer, until around the 18th.
Now I would like to be working on some things and get uploading again, but I've decided that I would postpone any Ask Ami's until new computer has arrived and is set up!
so many of my ideas and projects have been ruined because of the whole computer going in the first place....
In other news, I am still figuring out this whole Patreon thing.. I need to find out if there is another way to provide content on there.. If any of you are patrons of another artist that gives you things like PSDs and such, how do they go about actually getting those files out to you? It would be great to know. I was just trying to make a mailing list and send things out in an email each month.. And since the lowest tier reward is a calendar wallpaper, it'd be nice to have a way to get this sent out to all patrons in the future.... I wonder if there's a way to have it done automatically..?
Anyway, any help would be greatly appreciated!

Posted 7 years agoSo I just wanted to post something up to say a few things here.
First, I will finally be getting my new computer very soon, so that'll be great. It means that I can record and stream again finally.
Second, I'd like to apologize for accidentally ruining some friendships. I don't like being a bad person and I always strive to be good to both myself as well as all of my friends and family. I'd do anything for you within reason and I never meant for any actions that I take for myself to harm someone else. I just hope that I can be better in the future.
Lastly, I have things that I want to do with my future, and after a lot of consideration, I'm going to keep moving forward toward these goals. I know deep down that achieve these goals will be able to bring at least some joy to some people, so I'm going to keep going and do what I can to make it happen.
I'm sorry that artwork has been a tad slow around here, but I promise that things will pick back up around here in due time.
Thank you for your patience and time, and sorry for any trouble that I may have caused.

Question about Furry Culture and You!

So here's the question; Does anyone here enjoy artwork of human or otherwise non-furry characters? Or does have to be all fuzz all the time?
Don't worry, I'm not making any kinds of changes to SEA at all. Mephita, Amiese and Anna are still going to be the big three and all of the others will still be here. I'm just very curious as this question has popped up once or twice in conversation
I personally am an enjoy of all art as longs as I enjoy it! Which is usually all of the time. It's not about furry stuffs for me, it's about fun characters and stories!Commission stickers! Not by me !!

Need some Help $10 Icons
Posted 7 years agoSo I'm finally back kinda. I'm on my old dell, Minint. I have her all set up for art but she's in some real disrepair .. or rather, just old. She works fine but she doesn't have a lot of memory, her battery is completely dead and if she has too many things happening and resources being pulled she more likely to crash than anything. I manly still have her for PSO2. All art being done was moved over to Sylvester, my Macbook. However he's not toast and also very old and obsolete. Apple isn't going to bother to fix him up and I've been convinced to get a new computer.
So where does your help come in? Well with funds! But I'd never ask for handouts or anything of the sort. I've opened my commission shop time and time again with not even a glance from anyone but now I am in more need of work than before, since.. this time it will help me to continue doing work in the future....
For now I'll be doing $10 icons to start and as I relearn these old tools I'll open up to busts and full character drawings. I know that a lot of you don't really like the way my art looks but for those of you who do, and are in need of a new icon or would just like something, then by all means let me know, and help me take tiny little baby steps toward a new computer so I can keep working in the future.Bad news!
