Correction, I was in fear 4 years ago hearing Obama had won the Presidency. As of now I'm terrified. I feared the debt that my children's children would inherit under the proposed plans of a then newly elected President Obama. Sadly those fears of 4 year ago have come to fruition. Now looking at a President who's been let off the leash, I fear for the future of the children in my linage I'll not even be alive to know.

Our country sat on a tipping point this the morning of the 6th of November, 2012. We have now tipped over the edge into an abyss this county will not see itself out of for at least 5 generations, if ever.

Looks like I'm a crazy drunk who's great in bed.

This morning I left a contract a bit early, hopped in the truck & flipped on the radio. In the mornings I usually listen to talk radio. In between speakers they play little blurbs from other people. This morning they had a blurb by Dr. James Dobson from Focus on the Family.

In his blurb he was talking about how some people are leaders, & some are followers. He singled out boys who were followers in particular saying that it’s often troubling to mothers to see there little boys getting pushed around because they lack an aggressive nature. He also noted how parents try to make there little boys into men.

Then he made the comment that caught my attention.

We should not try & change these boys into what they are not. We should focus on there strengths & not try to fit them into a box. There created the way they are for a reason & we shouldn’t try to change what God created.













*dramatic pause*












Am I missing something here. The same man who’s pro family & VERY anti gay, lesbian, bisexual is saying we should focus on a persons strengths & NOT try to change them, not try & fit them into a box because that’s the way "God created them…."

I don’t know about the rest of you but I don’t remember looking into a mirror one day & saying “Gee SP, This thing with the ladies is getting a bit boring. I think I’ll try being attracted to guys as well from now on.”

I don’t remember a time, since I was interested in relationships of course, that I wasn’t attracted to both males & females. Dare I make the leap that I was created the way I am. *gasp*

So I pose the question.

Am I the one missing the point? Or is the illustrious Dr. Dobson being a bit self righteous in what he, and of course most all other religious leaders in general, chooses to support as being “good” & demean as being “bad”?

Thought I'd try something new. I know I can't draw, Writing not to good at either, composing....... Hah!!..... Forget it. So I thought I'd give photography a try.

Was walking through a Wal-Mart parking lot with my mate today & he pointed out a S-10 pickup with a gay pride & a furry pride sticker on the back window, & an FOP placard on the license plate ta boot. I left contact info on the windshield. Hope ta hear from someone new soon.
