Happiness is...

Loading up 4 different instances of your best friend's twitch stream... And all of them are at different delays so you get bombarded by the sound... And just reveling in the absolute absurdity of it all.

Weather change has been nice. The bright skies remind me that there's always another sunrise over the horizon.

Life can be difficult. Sometimes my wires are so jumbled I'm not sure where to start to untangle the mess. I'm always working through something.

Tomorrow is always another day.

So uhm... Looking back at my past journals... I do see a trend here. This seems to be the theme. Looking towards tomorrow.

Okay. So, how about this? How about today? Let's do today.

Life only ever moves forward. That's kind of the conclusion I always come to. But, I might have to try something different today. Put some things into practice. See where things go.

I think that's about it. I mean... In the meantime I have to go to work. I've got responsibilities. That's all a part of life. I've got to figure all of this out on my feet. Seems about right.

It was just a year ago...

Looking back over the last year, I'm in sort of a state of awe. What happened? How could I have made it this far?

It is like the years have pulled back, and I find myself back on track. Stepping out, not sure if my feet will find solid ground... Only to realize it was my legs that were shaking. And each day I find more strength through the trials I face. Even looking back the last two months, I am surprised how much I've changed. Each day my footing feels a little more sure.

Strangely, I'm finding my identity...

One year ago... I had no idea what the next few months would bring.

So much has happened. I just wish I could better articulate what. How can a month feel like a lifetime? Time slowed to a crawl. Every day was new.

I've got a quill and a blade. Adventure awaits!

So I just recently bought a vinyl cutter. They are very handy tools. Imagine a printer... Only instead of printing with ink, it prints with a blade. Now, it does not just cut into any kind of stuff. You need very specific stuff to load into this cut cutting printer printer. To be more specifically specific. You need flat stuff. Very flat stuff. Flat as a paper. Often paper. But more often, vinyl.

So, anyways...

There's a lot you can do with a vinyl cutter. You might think "Ok. So you can cut shapes. I mean, I can do that with a pair of scissors. I don't see the point". But the point is that it cuts shapes, and it cuts them fast and accurate. And that's kind of cool because ever so often you might say to yourself. "Man, I could really go for a flat cut shape right now"... Okay, maybe you won't. But you might want a window decal or sticker (or even a t-shirt design) at some point. Which... Coincidentally just might be made of flat cuts of shapes.

But, anyways. Needless to say, I'm stoked. If I get any time to myself, I just might vinyl all the things.

Another day.

I find myself coming home and repeating the same steps. Same nightly routine. Same morning. What is my direction? What do I value? What do I want to do with my time?

Journal has to be cut short. I got to get up and head to work.

But... Okay. Again. Always another day. Eventually I will get it worked out.
