...So i might be pretty sick.
I dunno what's going on but my stomach's been making a lot of weird noises lately and twice in the past week apparently (including tonight) have I felt really REALLY bad. I dunno if this ties into the general fatigue that I've felt recently but it could be a factor. That's not to say this is stopping any current drawing- I mean, it is RIGHT NOW, but I was certainly doodlin up a storm earlier and intend to keep doin so. Regardless, will press on forwards!!

So! I've-a pondered somethin tonight that I feel like could soothe the fact that...uh, I've been so screwbally recently =w=; If that's something that needs soothing, that is.
I've got a toooooon of sketches over the past few months that never got uploaded outside of more private circles.

Would you all want...hypothetically...a bit of a mass-upload over the coming month? >w>
That's no guarantee, but I feel like it could be a fun way to round out the year- don't worry, full uploads AND new sketches would still be droppin! This just means this previously-unseen goodness (or at least most of it, depends really on how much I feel like uploading) And likewise, these'd probably be described as older. Or maybe put into big batches of uploads. We'll see!

Honestly in my defense FA journals feel like, a big deal compared to dA or Bsky posts- I gotta have somethin more important tied to it than jus a status update or a random fantasy!! But if it'd be welcomed, I could try to keep y'all in the know just a little more often- would hate to have any site lag behind.

As for how I'm doing...uh, pretty good! Not today, today's been frankly horrible. But in general things have been...much, much better than before. I've been getting a lot healthier with my workflow- ruts and artblock still happen, ehehee, but I try to manage it a little better than I did before. No more tears!!...mostly, again today is sucky. Need hugs ;m;
Overall I'm at least very happy I've been getting better- gives me a real feeling of...well, growth...ironic, ain't that my OCs' jobs? Ehehehee.... >:3

I also still have somethin big still cooking that I might try to have come out within the next week but shhhhh.... if it doesn't it can release outside of anniversary month

Maybe now I can finally get back to...uh, whatever it was I was doing. We'll figure out.

OH! Yeah! I got a covid shot today (thankfully not filled with the virus but filled with little things that stop it!!!!) so I might be outta commish today and possibly tomorrow. Currently on a bit of break when it comes to doing the big-pic, but that's just because of my situation (at grandma's). Good thing, I think I need some time to rest my arms lol.

1) Didn't wanna overcomplicate myself with too many sites to do slots on

Question for artists.
Do you ever do a sketch of a drawing before the drawing itself? Is that just part of the process?
I've always jumped straight to the final thing but I'm noticing I end up liking some stuff in my sketches more, I'm wondering if I should switch up my tactic and finalize them. Makes me feel like I'm getting weaker, gives me the worry that it'd take longer.
Not sure how much of it is me actually getting worse at this as time passes and how much of it is me just realizing something new that helps me make better stuff.

Think I've hit a moment of clarity and realized part of the reason I haven't been able to think of as many characters to draw is because I haven't seen as many. I've, uh, honestly kind of become a bit of a reclusive person as of recent... =w=;
I think part of it is the closing of the discord server. Ever since recently I haven't been as outgoing it feels as before, more inclined to just rest in my little hideyhole than go out and find things, see things...
Not sure what the first step to fixing that is, but I want to fix it soon

I feel like I ask this question a lot, but hey, best to be utmost-ly-ish sure.
Would more self-indulgent things (aka the sona™ bein crushed/dommed more often) be appreciated? Part of me is saying to just indulge, but the other part is saying people will find me annoying for doing it often.

In a case like this I figure drawing fetish art is already pretty damn indulgent haha, but I just wanna know how people would feel about things that are more-blatantly "this was drawn because I wanted it"

Okay, so, this is taking a while and as I've been told I picked the worst possible time to reach out to some people. So...I have another solution.
I COULD upload all of the ones that are CONFIRMED-complete now, and then upload the others as they end up getting confirmed "yeah this is good". While this means I'd have to keep track of them, it also means I can upload all of them like, early tomorrow probably and y'all won't have to be held up to see the lot of them.
Thoughts?

UPDATE:
Less than 10 people still have yet to approve the art received. May upload all but those early if I don't get a response by like, the end of the month, although I'd realistically prefer to get them all uploaded at once. Tis fun to bombarde™ like that. :3

That's not to devalue these OR make it seem like i'm not drawin full pics for friends- Moreso, I wanna hammer in more "casual" drawing for my pals into my head- that way I don't gotta make such a big deal about just...well, drawin for peeps!! It's something I love and would love to be able to just do on a whim more often. I mean, a lot of these YCHes are done because I wanna!!
That's not to say the YCHes will end tho. Probably not, I meet/learn about a lotta fun folks through them :3

Back from vacation! Oh, and JUST as I've continued work about 8 hours ago, already bumped up to 41/65.
I think i might have gained a secret superpower known as "focus".

Regardless! Working on a lotta Nameless-squish ones, for once not outta personal bias but because the file for that one's MASSIVE and slows down my computer so I'd rather have those done and over with first, hah. =w=;
If I were to get 3 (my regular average) done a day, I could probably manage to get this done by the 28th!
...But I'm gonna do as many as I can, not just 3 a day!!! >~> I've already done FOUR today and more worked on without breaking a sweat, maybe that wrist thing worked.

Heads up, operations may slow down for a teeeeensy bit as I'm using the opportunity of vacation to heal my wrist a bit. Right now though, we're at 37/65 down! Which is impressive to me, because last year it took me a good few more days to get to 36, and here I am being ahead of time with even more!

There wasn't, uh, very many peeps that did it. I guess that's what happens when one of the sites you like conveniently Dies™ around the same time as you starting this dealio. Buuuuuut here's how I'll go about it!:
Considering there was a small enough number of them that it didn't go over the "limit" for the raffle, I think in that case I'll just do as many of em as I can. Maybe some exceptions depending on comfortability, but there's not many I can think of that leave a sour taste.

And for those curious on when I'll be done: I'd hope I'll get them done by before the end of this month, but if I don't, no biggie. I will promise though if it doesn't get out THIS month, it will early next month.
I also think I'm gonna play it smart and focus on getting a majority of them done before sending any out- that way I don't have to play mental-pingpong focusing on both finishing some up and fixing some at the same time.
