Before people make a deal out of it, no I don't care about IMVU acquiring FA or any other of the site management mumbo jumbo going around. I simply have some friends with accounts over there that I would like to stay in contact with.

Well I'm back down in OC, thankfully no cars or large objects were harmed in-trasport. Overall I had an amazing time! It was my first FC, after TRYING to go for the past 6 years I finally made it up!
I got to relax, go to a bunch of great events, meet awesome people like  namiel and  grrouth and see some old friends like  graveyardgreg,  kanekisaragi and  summercat. Many many more things happened that I don't want to try and condense into a journal post, but I thought this deserved one.

I also spent WAY way too much money, dear lord...see my mate's twitter for the details on that.

On that ending note though~ FC got me back into actually using Twitter, so if anyone uses it and wants to add me please do! I'm Skyedrin. I know, creative right? :P

Soooo apparently I forgot to post something on FA, but is anyone going to FC? I should be there for the first time!! :D

So TWICE now in 24 hours I've had someone approach me about getting to know each other and being friends. On both occasions we really hit it off, and they seemed like people I'd like to have as friends, and one of them actually lived close by. That one deleted me off of Skype 5 hours later and blocked my phone, and the other basically said, "Oh wait, sorry nevermind!" and logged off.

Am I really that bad of a person?...I know I screw up, but honestly I can't tell what I did to provoke those reactions. I just don't understand it. I have a hard enough time keeping the friends that I have, most of which IS my own damn fault but this just... I dunno.

Sorry, just felt like I needed to rant.

But to get the new one, I had to get a new number while I was in the process of transferring the old one. So if anyone was trying to text me yesterday or this morning I'm sorry but I didn't get it! I got my old number working as of now though, so all is back to normal ^^

Well I've had too much back and forth trying to figure out if I'm changing my fursona or not the last several months, so I just decided to have two for the price of one! :D

These past several months honestly have just sucked. My best friend got admitted to the hospital, my lead (who is my one friend at work) lost both of her parents, and my Uncle is starting to go into critical condition. I obviously know that these circumstances are much much worse for the people involved first hand, but all of this happening from different angles is starting to affect me. With my lead gone I'm pulling triple my normal work load, and there's a chance she might not even come back. The emotional build-up is really starting to drain me mentally, physically and emotionally.

I just wanted to apologize to anyone if I've been absent, or just generally irritable or quiet. I'm also having one of those "mid-life crisis" moments when I just feel stuck regarding my job, my living conditions, and lack of an education. To sum it all up, this is my attempt to vent some of this frustration out so I don't just explode, so sorry for all the complaining >_<

Okay, so as of late I've been really wanting to focus back on music and art as opposed to just busting my ass 12 hours a day at my less-than-magnificent job. I have minor musical background, some experience with guitar and shower-singing, and working with EAW's like Garage Bang and Logic Pro.
I want to start tinkering around with mixing again. All I'd done in the past was make edm pieces using the installed loops on my EAW, but I want to actually get into music production and focus on it more. Doubt I'd try to go professional, but if I can get a good enough grasp of everything who knows!
So questions for anyone who do this themselves: What would be considered a good starting point software/gear wise? I still have my GarageBand and Logic software, but they don't seem to run very well on my "newer" Mac. I've got a pc too, mac haters don't cringe! XD
Also any good places to look for studying music composition, aside from trying to get into a class somewhere, would be appreciated!

Jus so people know (or at least the ones that read these things) I've been at work pretty much ALL day the last month or so. I'm doing 10-12 hour shifts, and driving back and forth from taking  rakuferret to and from work. I'm not at my computer a lot, and when I am it isn't for long. If you send me a message or say hi, and I don't respond PLEASE don't take it personally. I'm not ignoring you, I just don't have ANY time nowadays.

Okay, first off thank you to all who responded to my last journal. I didn't respond individually so people wouldn't think I'm ignoring them x3.
On that note, I really appreciate everyone's feedback and support. Really, thank you all.

So! The last time I went and toyed with the idea of making another fursona/character it was met with pretty spontaneous agressiveness and borderline rage... dunno where that came from really.

Long story short, I've been debating on doing it again, but this time I've put much more thought into it and to me at least this new character represents a lot of my qualities as a person. My question to you all *points finger theatrically* is how you feel about people having two or more fursonas. I'll be making the decision myself ultimately, but I still like to know what others think.

So, I just got Star Wars The Old Republic...for those of you who don't know, I am a MAJOR star wars geek, so I've been playing it pretty much at every free moment I get x3

Soooo...apparently my comp doesn't like running any programs that are considered "resource hogs" anymore...such as SL, Skype, my CAD programs, or pretty much ANY game x.x.

For those of you who've been wondering where I've been on SL, this is why :( I'm gonna try running a system scan and see if I can figure out what the problem is.
