So basically, I got a really lovely statue of one of the Hindu gods, Ganesha. I love it to pieces. My mom, she's hardcore Christian/Anglican. Which I'm not saying is a bad thing per-say, since I believe in God as well...I just don't necessarily agree with organized religion...anyways, that stuff is for later.

Well, she sees it, and she flips shit. She goes on to tell me about how she doesn't want any BUDDHIST figures in her home (which technically isn't even hers, but anyway) and how that BUDDHISM is all about worshiping the devil, and how it's violent and yada yada yada. I didn't really argue, I basically just woke up and I was pretty much incoherent anyway, but now that I can get my thoughts together, I can rant about it.

First of all, she has absolutely no idea what she's talking about, obviously. Ganesha is a Hindu god, not Buddhist. I mean okay, Buddhism is a branch of Hinduism, but the two are still in different likelihoods of one another. And secondly, Hindus aren't about violence and "worshiping the devil". Once again, if she knew what she was talking about she wouldn't have said those things. I actually took a real offense to that...it's about loving one another and striving for a better planet and universe...isn't that what we need nowadays? I know I can't really be mad at her, she's ignorant, but it still hurts. A lot.

And she also went to say something about how me being multireligious is going to hurt me.

I see no evidence of this. In fact, it's helped me rather than anything else. If I didn't find my spirituality when I did, I probably wouldn't be here right now, I'd be six feet under. I just wish she could take all this false assumptions away and put her ignorance behind her and just see that I'm a better person now than I ever was before. Honestly, just throw all the religion away and I'm a happy woman that is striving to hopefully one day become a journalist, get married, have kids, and make a difference is someone's life. The religious aspect is such a tiny part of me, just how like being a furry and being pansexual is as well. They do make me, well, me, and if you take that away I won't be who I am...but the point I'm trying to make here is that no matter what, I'm still Sabrina. Or Skye. :p

Anyways, sorry for the long read...and to those who did read, thanks. Oh, I'm also having my best friend keep Ganesha for me until college, I know he'll be just fine there. :)

Well, I've been thinking about it for a few weeks...and I came up with a second fursona for myself. ^^
Skye is obviously my main one though...love her so freaking much. x.o

But the second one, I figured that this is going to be like my alternate PERsona. And it's going to be a male. Not entirely sure on names yet, but I have Vincent or Sebastien in mind. If I still haven't decided in a week, I'll post a journal asking you guys which one you prefer. ;p

Anyways, he's a white mouse/house cat hybrid. He has dark brown eyes and short, scruffy black hair. He wears thick black rectangle glasses, and overall he's a geek boy. Video games, anime, loves making YouTube videos, etc. He's straight overall...but there's one side to him only he knows. He loves dressing up in female clothing privately from time to time...so I guess that makes him a closet femboy? Haha~

Anyways, that's the general idea I have of him so far. After I get another commission of Skye done, I'll probably get one of Vincent/Sebastien.

Oh...he's also nineteen, by the way. xD

Hey guys, so I think I owe you all an explanation for my not uploading The Reign of Aru. Basically, I've either been sick, family issues have came up, or a combination of the two. I will still be writing The Reign of Aru, and I will still be uploading it, but not anytime soon (so over the course of the week). Just be patient, Aru will return once more, with a vengeance!

Came down with a horrible virus on Saturday. Can't keep anything down. Blehhh.

Chapter four!

This upcoming Monday I have the day off school, so hopefully I can get a crap load of chapters in!

Sorry I haven't been posting any more chapters. o.o'
School has been taking up the majority of my life as of now. I'll try to upload another one tomorrow afternoon however.

Also, I'm going to be going for NaNoWriMo this year. If any of you are writers, I definitely think you should give it a shot! I did it last year...and failed...haha, but it's nice to get together with other people and discuss writing techniques & being able to read one another's stories.

I swear NaNo isn't paying me to say this either. xP

Also, I know I said before that it is more...tame, I suppose, however the reason why I put it under 'Mature', is because later on in the story there will be some gore/violence, death, and a little bit of sexuality, but not so much that it turns into an erotica.

So, I shall put up my two stories that I am currently working on.

One is called The Reign of Aru, which is an original Lion King fanfic (non-sexual) by me. It takes place a few years after The Lion King 2, and follows the reign of King Aru (Kovu's grandson.)

The second one is a personal novel for my fursona, Skye. It is directed towards a mature audience, so be warned! :p Basically, it starts from a year before she moves to Canada, to present day.
