It's been a few months since I last did one of these monthly update things. Mainly because I kind of ran out of things to talk about and it gets redundant after a while, especially considering how uninteresting things have been on my end lately. I do apologize for going radio silent here for a few weeks though. It has been rather busy for me in terms of personal life stuff. Mainly college. Super demotivating and tiring.
Luckily for me, my break is coming up soon. While I can't guarantee anything in full, I am hoping that this will allow me to get back into the groove of writing, especially since I don't have anything to really stress over anymore. I am hoping to split my uploads between longer works and shorter works, but I can't really say for sure just yet. My content might also end up shifting a bit as I want to do stuff for both video games and animated cartoons, as I've been getting into a lot of both over the past few months! I want there to be variety in what I upload, but also it's fully possible I'll end up dumping a bunch of Housamo-related TF content as well considering it's still my fixation and likely will be for a long while. But this spiel is mostly just long form for saying I want to get back into writing and uploading stories!
I've also been getting a lot of questions lately in regards to whether or not I'm going to be opening commissions. I'm still on the fence about doing such a thing, especially since I always worry that in the end I'm too mood-based as a person to really do them without being picky, but I have been considering it a bit more as of late. While I haven't settled on an actual conclusive yes or no answer, I can at least say maybe some day in the future. Maybe.
Lastly, a bit more of just a personal announcement I guess. A lot of my older followers are aware that I used to use an AI-generation site called "thispersondoesnotexist/.com" to generate realistic human faces as references for many of my TF stories. This was mainly because it was a quick and easy way to generate realistic references without worrying about crossing into real person TF and caption territory. Some of you might also remember a few months back I mentioned that the website now redirected to Stability AI/Stable Diffusion and that I would likely have to find alternatives for reference images. But after some thinking, I think I've come to the conclusion that I won't be using AI-generated faces at all anymore. While I do have a surplus of them in backlog, with the recent wave of anti-AI coupled with the moral dubiousness of AI generators and how they gain their data, it has come to my conclusion that using AI generators is just not worth it in the end.
I will still keep the images I have used in previous stories up and available, but going forward I no longer will be using them or uploading them to my Stash. Tons of people are able to write human TF stories without full facial references being added in the description, so why can't I? This change will apply to pretty much any work I upload in the future. Generic human TFs, the DILFs series I am working on with ponky, and anything else I may have had planned in the future. Hopefully this isn't too drastic of a change, but it's something I wish to do.
Otherwise that's about all I can really muster in terms of announcements. I hope to be able to upload more over the course of the summer, and I hope to bring a variety of content as well!~

During that time I used a site called thispersondoesnotexist.com, which was a site that used AI-generation to make realistic human faces. Typically, I used those purely as facial references for the TFee and TF end result for those stories. This was primary so I could avoid crossing into "using real people as reference images" territory (which is something that is quite rampant on DeviantArt specifically).
However as of recently the aforementioned site I utilized was taken down and the link now redirects to Stability.AI, also known as the people who run Stable Diffusion. Due to this development I have disconnected all the original links to the original thispersondoesnotexist site in the descriptions of every story I wrote that used these AI-generated faces. It's rather unfortunate, really.
I still do have a rather large batch of unused facial references however. Roughly 250+ last I checked. Whether or not I will use these in the near future is up in the air as I haven't had the time to screw around with generic human TFs as of late. But it's still a limited amount, especially since during times of generation I tend to go more for TF end result than I did TFee, so there is quite an imbalance in the reference pool.

January Update + Happy New Year!!
Posted 2 years agoHappy New Years!! Admittedly, it's been a few months since I actually wrote one of these, but I've been pretty busy with various things these few months so I didn't really have much to update on.
2022 was a very good year for me, personally. I did upload less than what I was hoping for, but I also uploaded a lot of works that I am very proud of writing! My personal favorite is Crystalline Conversation, but there are still multiple close seconds. Plus, 30 uploads is still half the amount I did in 2021! I say it's a win, really.
Another thing about 2022 was that it was technically the first year of me trying to interact with the TF community more. It's still a bit of an awkward slump for me to meet new people, but I'm rather glad to have met all the people I have this year! Honestly I wish I could list them all but it'd then make this document run way too long.
Anyway, as evident my upload schedule has tanked and will likely remain like this for the foreseeable future. While this is the case, I do still intend to continue writing TF works even if it is at a slow pace. It's fun, and I've still got so many ideas I wish to burn through! Part of me hopes I can release some stuff in the months of January and February, but I can't make any promises. We'll just have to wait and see~ I am truly hoping that these next few months will be me running through various ideas of TFs for the game Tokyo Afterschool Summoners, which I have become quite invested in these past few months. That Claude TF really gave me an itch that I have to scratch.
As shown yesterday, work on the DILFs series between my friend Ponky and I is still continuing! It is a rather slow progression period, but both of us want to finish it by the end of the 2023 year. Again, no promises, but it's something we want to do. I will say, the next few stories are quite interesting packages!
Other than that there's not much left to announce. I'm rather looking forward to what I have planned for 2023, and I look forward to sharing the many stories I have planned!

Anyway, my previous TF story was, obviously, one regarding Housamo/Tokyo Afterschool Summoners. I wish to write some more Housamo-related TF stories in the future and I want to get some feedback as to what people might be interested in.
So my main reason for making this journal is to ask one question. What characters from Housamo would you guys be interested in seeing me write a TF story for?

Small November Update

It is now November, and this means that Mariah Carey's defrosting has reached near completion. But who cares about that??
I was actually hoping to start something this month, but unfortunately due to college stuff I'm going to have to leave my plans for another time in the future. I still wish to try and get what I want to do to start this year, but I'm reaching the final few weeks of the semester so I can't make any promises.
Other than that, the only other thing I have left to say is slow uploads are still in order. I don't know if I'll be uploading anything this month, but here's to hoping I will at some point.

October Update
Posted 3 years agoHey all! It's been a few months since I last did a proper update, but seeing as I've been quite lately I think it's fair I give y'all an update on how things are going on my side.
First I apologize for dropping out of existence for about a month (with the exception of a few status messages on DeviantArt). Classes have started back up for me and this means that a lot of my writing time that I used to have has been transferred over to working on school work and keeping my grades up. I do wish I had more time to write, but I unfortunately haven't been given that opportunity much this month. Fortunately, a few of my classes are beginning to lighten their work load, so I am hoping to get more work done in writing in the future.
As for what I am going to write, I'm not sure yet! I was hoping to do Octransfur this year, but due to some unforeseen circumstances I unfortunately have to drop out of that before I could even begin. I'm a quality over quantity kind of writer and Octransfur kind of messed with my brain in terms of writing quality. I still have all of my Octransfur ideas on standby though, so you might see fleshed out versions of them some day!
Besides that I have recently finished one project recently and plan to upload it next Wednesday. Don't get too excited though, it isn't anything major. It will also likely be my only upload this month as I have to put more focus on a few other projects I have. This includes drafting out some more stories for the D.I.L.F.S. series which, by the way, is still in progress. My co-writer and editor is still editing one of the stories, and they're also working on another one as well. I have no estimated time of release for either, nor will I make one up. You'll see them when you see them! Although I'm sure people will like what we have planned for the next uploaded entry~
Despite me not uploading much lately, I have plans for the future. I want to try to start something around the time November hits, so be on the look out for that!
As a final note to the various people I still have suggestions from, your suggestions are still very much on the backburner. August Update
Posted 3 years agoIt's the first of August, signifying another month has passed and it's time for me to make yet another monthly update! This will be on a bit of the shorter side as I don't have a whole lot to say, but it's still an important thing to mention for the future.
Upload consistently is likely going to take a massive nosedive over the next couple of months. I'll be entering a new phase of my life soon, and it'll likely mean that writing is going to end up becoming a low priority for a while. This is nothing to be concerned about, but I just felt the need to mention this. I'm still going to try and slowly write various things when I have the time to, along with finishing up more stories for the D.I.L.F.S series (since I want to have that series finished before the end of the year), but I can't make any promises as to when I will be uploading things anymore. But I guess that just makes me a little bit more unpredictable, huh?
Anyway, that's all I've got for now. I'm hoping everyone is having a great Summer!

July Update + Important Announcement!

First off, I'd like to start with saying how happy I am in finally being able to start sharing the D.I.L.F.S. TF series! It's been something that ponky-kong and I have been planning out for more than half a year, so being able to release the stories for it after so long is a very nice thing to the both of us. Although I still insist that ponky does quite a lot more work than me, so I'll continue to insist on checking them out! We also hope to have the 3rd part uploaded at some point this month, but we can't guarantee to fulfill that. It's just a hope we got.
With that out of the way time for the important announcement.
I'm closing public suggestions indefinitely.
This has actually been something I've had in my mind for a while. I find myself dreading the idea of seeing a chat/note and have it only come up as another suggestion or request or something, and most often then not the conversation is a 20 hour back and forth that doesn't bear much fruit for either parties. So I'm not really limiting stuff like suggestions to the people I have friended on Discord, and exclusively to them. This rule will also apply to trades. Collabs are still semi-public though, but they'll be just as selective as usual.
Also any previous suggestions that people who aren't friends with me have given are still on file and I do intend to work on those some day. They have not been removed or anything, and in the event I do remove any of them for some reason I'll be sending a note to let you know.
With all of that out of the way, I think I'm done with this update. I'm hoping I'll be releasing some good stuff over the course of the month too~ This may end up being my last fully active month in a while, as things will start getting a bit hectic in my life come August with Xenoblade Chronicles 3 coming out, along with other life things that I won't get into.
Anyway, have a happy July!

May Update

With the start of the new month comes the inevitable update. April was a bit of a slow month for me in terms of uploading content, but I've been writing some things that I have plans to upload this month! And hopefully the next few months will also have more than one upload tied to them.
Suggestions are still going pretty slow, and may take a few months until I start getting to writing to 95% of them as I have some prioritized plans to get out of the way first. Maybe I'll sprinkle a suggestion or two in, I'm unsure at the moment.
Beyond that, I don't have much else to bring up for the time being, so I'll just be ending it here.

I find writing more tedious when it comes to suggestions that haven't been provided with a plot, whereas those that have at least give me some form of smoother sailing in comparison. Hopefully this isn't too much of an issue, but it was between this or closing them altogether. These changes will be reflected in an edited Writing Information journal that I have linked on my profile.
Beyond those two things I don't have much else left for this update. Hopefully April is good for you all~

I almost forgot to write this, but happy March! Last month was a little more interesting for me in terms of story-based stuff. I am quite glad to have gotten both those Glamrock Freddy and Lumberjack TFs out of the way since I've had those planned for months. It even looks like the Glamrock Freddy TF is becoming one of my more popular stories on here!
As for what I have planned for next month...
I have no idea. As I have been trying to branch out and interact more with other members of the TF community it has resulted in me getting a few projects I'm working on with other people. But I have next to no release windows for any of them (which is definitely for the best). You'll all see them when the time comes though!
However I am moving closer to starting work on a hefty series of TFs that I've been working on ideas for with a friend of mine. I want to see if I can get the first story or two release in April, but I can't promise I'll be able to live up to that. Writer's motivation and all, always unpredictable.
As for independent works I do have base concepts for various character TFs I want to work on. I'm unsure when I'll work on them yet though. I might just start doing polls for people to vote on whatever they want to see based on my reserve of characters and ideas. But I won't start that until I finish up a few stuff I'm doing for/with other people. I am slowly working through suggestions one at a time, but it may take a very long time to get through my current bank considering my output over the last few months.
My last bit of news is based on the fact that I've finally finished both Xenoblade Chronicles games available on the Switch after like, a month. That's just something I've been mulling over for a week now. I really should write a Vandham (XC2) TF some day... And I'm really excited for Xenoblade Chronicles 3. Maybe I should try and play X in the mean time...
Other than that there isn't much else left to say. I just hope to get more works out this month!

February Update

It's February! I've been pretty inactive over the last month. Mostly because I've busy with some stuff plus I've had an overall lack of desire to work on stuff. I still kind of due, but I think once I get back into the groove of things I'll feel alright. This update will be a little shorter than normal since there's not a whole lot to be addressed:
I do have some works I want to write out and release this month. Nothing too out of the box though. And I'm unsure how much "some" is in this context. Nonetheless, I do have plans.
I'm still going to be slow on getting out suggestion-based works as I still would like to put more focus on writing my own stuff for the time being. I am still accepting suggestions, though. I take enjoyment from hearing other people's ideas! It's fun.
I have a couple larger plans I want to work on later down the line. Nothing that'll be coming out this month (I probably won't even start working on it until March or April), but I have a series of works that I've been working together on with a friend of mine that we're both quite proud of.

General Writing Information (2022)

This is something that I have designed in order to list out how I handle my writing.
First off, I don’t do requests unless otherwise said. This is mostly out of time concerns and stress.
Trades and collaborations are a bit of a weirder predicament for me. Trades are mainly limited to my friends, so I am not open those from the public. However, I might consider doing something like a collab if I find the proposal interesting and it matches my preferences. These preferences are listed further in this document. However if you have any questions involving collaborations you can always send me a note on FurAffinity or message on DeviantArt. Alternatively you can request for my Discord tag and we can speak further and faster.
As for commissions: I do not intend on doing them at the moment as I do not feel my writing is worth payment nor do I have the time or mental capacity to do so.
With all of this in mind I have provided a list of stuff I prefer to write. This is mainly a guideline of my writing things but it can also be considered what to expect from me.
SKYLER´S PREFERENCES TO WRITING TRANSFORMATION
Character Transformation Stories (Both Human and Furry characters are acceptable! I'll sometimes write character to character transformations under certain circumstances. I'm rather picky on them though. I also have a preference towards franchises and characters I'm familiar with and enjoy. Unfortunately I can't exactly list everything I've seen/played out, so if you have any questions on if I know of something then feel free to send me a message!
Generic Human Transformation Stories
Fantasy Creature Transformation Stories (Although I haven't done them much, I've always loved fantasy races (Orcs, Goblins, Dwarves) and wouldn't mind writing TF of them; character or not.)
OC TF (I tend not to take OC TF suggestions or requests. The only times I will write OC TF is if I consider you some kind of acquaintance or if I come to you myself.)
Animate Inanimate (This is extremely situational and is primarily with Armor and Pooltoys.)
General Preference Towards MTM (I also like FTM!)
Accepted Side Effects:
TG (Gender Change) (I accept either MTF or FTM, MTF is extremely situational. I very rarely will do TF into female characters.)
MC or PMC (Mental Change or Partial Mental Change)
AP (Age Progression)
AR (Age Regression) (I tend to have a threshold of a confirmed age of 13 or older. Very rarely will I ever be willing to go beyond this threshold.)
Certain Body Modifications (Shrinking, Growing, Weight Gain, and/or Muscle Growth)
TW (Twinning)
MG (Merging)
PS (Possession)
HY (Hypnosis)
Safe For Work Content (I am also willing to border on Mature at times with sexual references and sometimes bulges).)

January Update + Happy New Year!
Posted 3 years agoHappy New Year! Since it's now January, it's time for yet another update! Probably one of my favorite things about the change in months to be honest.
I posted a lot more this month than I originally expected. Mostly because I wanted to get some stuff out the way and finish a few things. I still don't have a whole lot of expectations for my output in the future as I've gotten sick pretty recently and have still been working through that. Finals are also coming up soon for me so that's going to be a little labor intensive for a bit. Nonetheless, I have some story ideas I want to work on in the future. I'm unsure when they'll get posted, though.
In regards to a few of the suggestions that I still have, I'm likely going to end up spacing them out more as I want to put my focus on writing personal works at the moment. I did set up a document that keeps track of my progress on various works (which can be viewed here) in case anyone would like to see how things are going with your suggestion.
Now for the game updates I always package these things with. I have started Final Fantasy VII Remake but didn't get too far before I got sick. I also still haven't finish Final Fantasy VIII (although after that I'll either do VI or X). I also recently got both Xenoblade Chronicles games so that might be interesting.
Otherwise that's it for this update. Not too much planned for the month, but that might change shortly after this gets posted. Who knows.
