After watching Dakarai for quite a long time, I finally managed to commission her. I gave her a very general idea to go with, and she produced this incredible image that I had printed and is hanging on a wall in my home where I see (and admire) it every day. I sincerely hope to commission her again sometime.

Anyhow, she has achieved 2,000 watchers (and thoroughly deserves more), and is now doing a free raffle!!

Definitely a chuckle in here somewhere. And, well, I know several somebodies that have been eaten by a dragon, so...

Re-post or place this as your status if you know someone or are related to someone who has been eaten by a dragon. Dragons are nearly unstoppable, and they can breathe fire. 93% of people won't copy and paste this because they've either already been eaten by dragons, or they don't believe in dragons. 6% are sitting in the shower armed with fire extinguishers, whilst the remaining 1% are awesome and will re-post this.

Okay, unusual circumstances here, but, I'll be hauling an empty 6 x 12 trailer from the Tampa, FL area northward to central Pennsylvania twice in the next few weeks. Starting north on Sept. 22, and again on Sept 27th or 28th.

If you or anyone you know has anything or any things (up to around 1100 pounds per trip) that need to be moved in that direction, get a note to me. This includes passengers, if there's somebody actually looking for transportation northward.

So I hate pressuring artists that I commission, though life happens so sometimes commissions take a long while. That's never a problem with me, so long as there's open communication. And even if there's not... you know, unless the artist is giving me a hard time, I'm never going to give them a hard time.

Did FA do away with the total # of submissions link that used to precede the Submissions, comments, journals, favorites, and watches links in parentheses at the top of every screen?

So the only submission that I've posted here on FA is my ref sheet. I do not post the commissions that I've had done, but rather I just tend to make a journal entry with the link to the artist's post (when appropriate).

One of the things that I like to do is commission new and up & coming artists to give them help and something to practice and help them improve.

Okay, well... it's been nearly 7 months, and AC is over now and I survived that without losing my pants, so... here's the full story about what happened at FC back in January. Yes, the punchline was that I went to a fur con for just 1 day and I lost my pants, and that is indeed what happened, but exactly how it happened... wasn't really as amusing as that punchline.

You see, I went to lunch with a friend and we got cheese steaks with fries. I went and put ketchup on my steak and some additional on the side for the fries, and when I returned to the table, I sat the basket with my food in it on the edge of the table and then sat back down... in doing so, the basket slid off the table and overturned onto my legs. The lower legs of my jeans got covered in ketchup.

Long story short, I went and got a clean pair of jeans and changed, but I didn't bother to go and put the dirty jeans away where I should have and I was carrying them around with me. Somewhere along the line, I put them down, and left them. And hence, they were lost. I did try to see if they were found and turned in, but... no such luck, so they were well and truly lost. And I get to have that wonderful punchline. :-P

Now all I need to do is get rid of this awful concrud cough. Bleh.
