Rant/Vent/Etc.. No More Ponies.
Posted 14 years agoSo I'm not drawing ponies anymore.
I will share the reason with everyone but before that I must say I in no way have turned to hating ponies, and I'm still totally cool with everyone into it, I'm just not anymore.
If anyone was following my old main account, I recently got out of a relationship. It was a terrible relationship that gave me no room to be myself. I started getting really introverted and repressing my entire personality because I was just not interested in arguing everything. Ponies seemed to be the only thing I was able to like without argument. (And even then I got a lot of "How can you like Rainbow Dash the best she's like the worst pony. Rainbow Dash fans are like, the worst kind of people").
I got to the point that I was buying a ridiculous amount of ponies to comfort myself, and completely losing myself in it because it was all I had.
As soon as I got out of said relationship my interest completely dropped. Without any effort I just completely forgot they existed for a while. I haven't bought a single pony since then, and I've barely caught up with the new episodes. I watched the Halloween one that was it.
Now I don't dislike mlp or anything, I'm just very happy with rediscovering myself right now. I've got so many other things going on that I haven't even thought of ponies. So many other things that I had to forget about and am now taking advantage of having again. I may one day come back to ponies but I will probably never draw them to the extent that I was, if I ever do draw them again I will just be uploading them on my main account.
