Posted 14 years agoWe had a power cut this morning.. I had a picture that I'd been working on yesterday all day still up and of course.. I didn't save it. BOOM! Gone. Ugh.. how annoying! I bet I wont be able to recreate it. Life sucks like that. :/

Anyway, pretty sure the last journal I made here I was still talking about being pregnant! Well I gave birth on the 7th of January :) Our little boy is absolutely beautiful and nearly 7 months old. We love him so much!
I'm on maternity leave.. so nothing is going on for me. Just chilling and looking after my little one! Drawing lots, though.. so that's a good thing :)

Sorry but I hate playing the guessing game of drawing characters from written descriptions. So give me a good description of what you want your character doing along with a link to your ref and it'll be sweet! :D. Cant promise it'll be the best art in the world.. but hey, it's free! No complaining. Lol

Help me digital artists! Is this a good deal?
Posted 15 years agoI've been offered a Wacom Graphire 3 tablet with all the software and bits and bobs for $70. Is this a good deal? I seriously have no idea! I'm tempted to just say yes and take it but I have no idea how much tablets are worth because I've never considered buying one 'til now!

A bit of news.. :3
Posted 15 years agoHello ladies and gents.. I know I dont write journals or submit art too often but that doesn't mean I'm not around the place! LOL
So.. I just thought I'd write to let anyone who gives a shit know about something a bit exciting and shocking going on with me. I've known for a while but haven't really told alot of people because it was such a huge shock to me I wasn't sure how to approach it. But basically.. I'm pregnant :). About 15.5 weeks along, too! Very much a surprise and very much unplanned.. but not at all unwanted. The boycreature and I are INCREDIBLY excited, especially after seeing it in my belly at an ultrasound the other day! It's a very wiggly baby.. bopping all over the place LOL.
So.. so far so good! Everything seems to be going along as it should. We have our first proper ultrasound in a couple of weeks which will hopefully come back all okay and we'll also be able to find out the sex :). I'm not particularly hoping for anything.. but I do have this feeling it's a boy :)! Doesn't matter what it is to me though, I just really want it to be healthy.. :3.
I'm opening up commissions in the hope of raising a bit of money towards a few things.. there's a few nagging financial issues I want to get under control before I go on maternity leave. I seriously doubt any money I get from commissions will make much of a dent in them.. but hey, every little bit counts! So $5 for a full colour inked traditional one character piece.. $2 for any additional characters :). I'll draw anything really.. I'm not very practiced with anatomy (check my gallery.. lol) so I cant promise that anything extreme pose wise I'll be able to do that well but I promise to try my best :)!
So yeah.. now that I've dropped that little bombshell I'll be on my way LOL!

ETA: Please if you happen to be on my facebook DONT MENTION THE BABY YET! I plan to announce it soon but am not ready just yet.. I want to make sure everything is 100% okay before broadcasting it to everyone I know :). I feel pretty safe writing it here because I'm pretty much anonymous.. but I know that some of you DO know who I am and I'm on your facebook.. so please, dont say anything.

Need help with art storage..
Posted 15 years agoYeah, title pretty much sums up the basics.. I have to throw out all of my furry art because no one in my family or my boyfriend who I live with know about my furry side and for my own reasons I'd like to keep it that way. I really dont like the awkward questions people finding my art bring about so I'd rather just throw it out than risk having that happen.. but lately I've been wanting to keep certain pieces to document my progress and what such.
What I'd like is to have someone I could send all of my furry art to in an envelope and have them 'look after it' for me. In exchange for this I'd try to draw the person a picture of their fursona (or other character, what ever floats yer boat!) every once in a while as thanks. I'd of course pay all postage and would probably aim to send around one - two packages of art a month. Whoever ends up with my art would be welcome to look through it, all I'd ask is that they didn't repost it anywhere and kept it safe :3.
Preferably I'd like this person to be located in Australia.. in South Australia would be ideal. Let me know if you're interested! :)

Might take me a bit of time to get my head around things though.. so be gentle and no one get cut if I dont reply to your message/comments/favourites/watches.. if I actually get any of those things =/.
