So... Apparently FA is still the place to be? I don't know. I have kind of been a bad bat and not been around here. At all. A lot of the crap that went down a while back sort of turned me off to the whole FA thing.

Anyway! I'll still be around to check up on stuff, but probably not much in the way of art will be showing up here.

Who's that? What's going on? Where am I?

I have returned from the Unknown Kadath (also known as the deadly mess of work, school, a finicky laptop, and a running cycle of sick and not sick) and crawled my way back to FA. *hugs FA* I missed youuuuuuu.... x.x

But, I'm back now. Getting back into the whole art thing. I'm even taking an art class in school. Egad! Scary, I know. So yes... Art!

Okay, so I've had a few people ask WTF?!? so I figured I'd put this up here in case anyone was curious or needs the clarification.

First of all:
EVERYTHING I DRAW WILL BE TOTALLY FREE. You don't have to pay me a dime. If you feel some sort of burning NEED to pay for it, may I suggest donating that to a local animal shelter or buying a hot meal for a family through a local charity. They need the $$ much more than I do right now.

Rules about getting free art from me:
1. You must ask me. I don't do well with demands. A simple note or shout of "Hey! Could you/Would you/Will you draw such and such for me?" is just fine. If you have my email addy, you can also send a note there.

2. I do have a life outside of this (as much as I wish I didn't), so I'll be slow from time to time. Please understand that and don't message me every hour on the hour with 'ARE YOU DONE YET?!?! WHY NOT?!?!?!?!?!' I'll be forced to kill you and that won't end well for anyone.

3. You can, though, poke me if it seems like I'm taking a really long time. I will never drop a project, but I do have the memory of a goldfish at times and may forget if I haven't written it down somewhere. So, if it's been a week or so and I haven't shown my ugly mug, give me a friendly nudge.

4. I will draw almost anything, though I do have some limitations. They're as follows:
full on pr0n. I'm no good at it and it's not something that interests me. I WILL do nudes and tasteful couples/group kinds of things, but sorry. No insert tab A into slot B or whatever. I'm sorry, I'm just not any good at that.
Any fetish stuff. I don't know enough about any of it to draw it very well. Maybe once I feel more confident, I'll give it a go.

5. Other than that, I'll try anything at least once so feel free to ask for art! I would love to do fan art too, so ... if I'm watching you, look out. There might be fan art popping up of you.*

Jeeze, the time flies by when you're drowning in real life responsibilites.

I've just returned from my unexpected trip of falling off the freaking planet to the fandom. Gah! So much going on, where do I start? Well, with the fact that I'm working three jobs so updates have been, um, nonexistant. And then there's school, which is and always will be, a HUGE MESS. The campus is 'impacted' so even getting a seat is insane. I was lucky I could register for even one class. Apparently, being an old fart means you're not as important-

No. I'm not going to rant about the school system here. Or the fact that I'm so tired right now I might just pass out. I'm back on FA, I have some sketches that are going up soon as well as a few finished things that need to be dealt with and either posted or set on fire and ... um, yeah! I guess that's it!

So... A good friend of mine passed away recently, and I really hadn't been feeling the arty or even social bug as of late. However, she was the sort who wouldn't want her friends to be sad always and I've been grieving in my own way and I'm once more feeling up to being around other folk of all kinds.

So, Boogz's arty do-dad should be up by tonight and JP will be up tomorrow or Friday, depending on how nice my computer wants to be.

So, I was thinking about putting up sketches of stuff I have, though I don't know if any one would really care about it.

See, I'm working on my TOON style. I have an actual drawing style that I use other times, that looks TOTALLY different than any of this. Sounds lame, I know. But I like the cartoony stuff, I just suck at it. Hence the practice.

So... Anyone ever really look at scraps in a gallery? I do, but I don't know if it's a common thing.

Well, here's a few options:

1. Bust (I'm best at these and they take less time.)
2. Full body shot (Please, if they have to be naked, tasteful nudes only)

I can do 1 character, 2 characters, however many characters, but let's try to keep it under 20?

I would be happy to try just about anything, but please keep in mind that it does take a little while as access to a scanner is limited right now (unless Keesh really would be cool with me using his? ^^ Still be limited). I am able to color on the computer, but it's rather crappy at the moment, so I can color with colored pencils if you'd prefer.

I can do a toony style, like what's in my gallery already, a semi-toony style (what will be coming up soon), and a realisitc style (these are only black and white. Sorry!)

I am opening up five slots for this, but again, PLEASE keep in mind that it may take up to a month before I finish one, so order on the list doesn't mean you'll get it in that order. If you need something by a deadline, I might not be the best choice, but I'll give it a go. Remember, it's FREE so you'll get what you pay for.
