Posted 10 years agoHey all, I just wanted to update you with whats going on with me.
I am currently filming a speedpaint of a digital painting Im working on, its gonna be so cool sped up!
Also, I am working on a few traditional artworks. I've been drawing/painting nonstop since I got home from Gov School, its just that I haven't posted anything. I am still doing dubstep dance, just more at home and not filmed as I dont have a camera xDDD
Im super excited to start working soon, its gonna be great! I am looking into jobs at Jerry's Artarama and Michael's and other craft stores as I cannot be in an environment without art/ art supplies because I get so depressed, its really wierd.
I just wanted to share that with you all, continue to submit art! It's fun looking through it! :D

[ACCIDENTALLY 4 DAYS LATE] I'M BACK!
Posted 10 years agogAHhAHhA the month I was away at Governors School was absolutely terrific. Every day was extremely busy, and we worked a lot, although no other summer program could come close to it. I made several really good friends, and jEsuS cHRIST the art other student artists made was AMAZInG. Funny thing was there were only 5 guys in the Visual Arts section this year including me, and i was one of 3 sophomores in the Visual Arts section. I made great friends with Abbey (MOM), Collin (DAD), Zan, Nichole, Kadyn, Kayla, Carrie and Carrie (the alpha Carrie has not been decided yet), Aletta, Savannah, and i had a blast with them. THe painting class was unforgettable, and the environment was awesome.

The food was disgusting, it was nearly rotten most of the time so all i could eat was salad.
I ate cereal for breakfast and salad for lunch and dinner every single day for a whole month and i lost weight i didnt need to lose xDDDD
so yeah im kinda sick of salads and walking around outside in the heat ( i was wearing sweaters and jeans in 90 degree and above heat because thats all I own) but i didnt really mind hahaha. We also went to Watkins College of Art and Design, and the Nashville Zoo as we were drawing some animals. I drew a Kingfisher bird and a piranha, and a Red River Hog skull. I gave that to my friend. xD
All in all, I learned a whole lot about art from Orientation to Art class and a load of techniques from Painting and Mixed Media. I surprisingly did pretty well for a guy who hasn't painted in years, and i got A's in both of my studio classes. I dont know about Orientation though, I may have failed that as i never paid attention.....
Im super glad i am back home in Knoxville, and some stuff has changed a lot in one month. I found a super nice drawing desk in my room and i internally screamed for 3 hours. My dog tackled me and licked my face when I got home which was super funny too.
I really miss everyone from Gov School of course, but I still keep in contact with them and also my insomnia has gotten worse YAY
So last night I watched Insidious for the first time and it was AWESOME

Posted 10 years agoWell everyone, the time has come. I'll be leaving for GSFTA (the art school I got accepted into) tomorrow, and I'll be staying for a month. I'll be making loads of art, and I'll only be able to get online at very late hours of the night. Look out for random posts from me, as i may sketch some things I want to share with you all. All in all, I'm really excited for it, and nervous as well since I'll be living in a college dorm for a little while. Im super excited to take the Painting and Mixed Media class, it's gonna be great!!!!
When I get back I'll probably spam all my art pages with the artwork I've made there. :D

Sketch Commissions!

They'll be bust shots (thoracic portion of the torso and up) and they'll be done in pen/pencil/colored pencil (since I got some better colored pencils)
Each sketch commission will be 400 DeviantArt Points ($5.00) since I have no way to set up PayPal currently. If you are interested, just send me a message or comment on this journal!

Finally, someone in the FA headquarters decided to change FA to much more than a boring blue HTML file!!!!
It really does look great though.
Also guys, Im sorry for not posting much furry art recently, ive been caught up with other drawings and ideas.
Im going to start a drawing of Tristan (Indeeco's fursona) and Slate (my fursona, of course) as Akatsuki members. Digitally though :3

(aka preparing shit to be cooked)
for German class. IT WAS MANDATORY so i had to make something -_-
I hope it poisons all of them, since some of them cheated on our test yesterday and we had to retake it. UGGGGGGSHSHSHSGHSHS *explodes*
In further news, I'm trying to work on a humanized version of my fursona Slate without giving up and drawing something else (sadly, I've already started at least 5 other irrelevant drawings so its futile)

Posted 10 years agoSo tomorrow afternoon NAHS is holding the Kid's Art Fest from 4:30-6:00 PM. I signed up to be one of the volunteers, and I'm gonna have a blast staying at school from 8:30 AM to 6:30 xDDD
its gonna be held in my art teacher's room, yet I'm not quite sure as to if they have enough space xD
I hope its gonna be fun, my NAHS friends and some non-NAHS friends are going. I guess ill see how that goes hahhhaa.
