Hello all!

Good news and bad news.

The bad news is, now that I'm working a full-time job, there's simply no way I'll be able to finish the full Streak series this summer. I had hoped to publish them all in one go before the end of August, but that's simply not practical right now.

The good news is, while I'm deep into writing volume 2 (the outlines are all finally finished and now I'm just writing out the chapters proper), I might be able to finish the final touches to volume 1 and get that published here before the month is over. Emphasis on "might" though.

I also have an announcement to make. In the interest of moving my life forward a bit, I've decided to publish volume 1 for free, but volume 2 and 3 will be paid, either in the form of an actual paperback and/or for purchase online. I know this will disappoint people, but I've spent over 11 years of my life on this series in one form or another, and it's time to make it into something I can benefit from, or else it won't feel worth it now that I'm so burned out and currently in my thirties without much upward momentum.

With that in mind, if you like the current stories I have published (all of which are going to be radically different when the final versions drop), I recommend downloading them for safekeeping. I'll be deleting them when the new stories are done.

This year, if all goes according to plan, will see the conclusion to the Streak series with a whole bunch of new rewrites and ten never-before-seen stories set during Chad Vale's time as Streak!

For those of you who may know, I'm working on ten new stories set between Chapter 1 and Chapter 2 of season 1, and separate that into a whole season just for the first Streak (Chad Vale), bringing the total to 3 seasons. During this new first season, I thought it would be cool for Streak to meet with a journalist who gets to interview him, and her questions come largely from the public.

So, my question for you all is, what would you ask Streak if you were a citizen of Beacon City? What would you want to know if a journalist said she was planning on interviewing him and looking for question ideas?

So, I was wondering if maybe I should start a Patreon. I'm currently looking for a job and it eats up a lot of my time. With a Patreon, I may be able to stop searching and focus on writing. Not only that, I may even be able to make Streak into a comic series at some point if it's successful enough.

However, since I'm currently on Universal Credit (JobSeeker's Allowance), I need to make at least £333 per month from Patreon, or my allowance would go down to compensate. I also wouldn't be able to start commissioning many images/comics until I started getting more than £333 to remain in a positive income, even by a tiny bit.

Right now, I can barely go anywhere on the internet without being treated like I'm literally some freak of nature for little more than liking a bunch of films. As a DC fan, it's almost impossible to go five steps in that universe without seeing hate for the things I love, for the director who made them, for myself, and for my fellow fans. I've never harassed anyone, stalked anyone, sent death/rape threats, etc. I've never displayed any "toxic" behaviour that the average critic of these films doesn't display 24/7. But that seems to make no difference, and frankly, it never has since 2013. To a lot of people, merely liking these films is a form of cult-like, deranged, obsessive delusion. So, since I'm at my wits end with how brutal and intense this hateful trend is getting, especially now that people are celebrating that this unfinished story has been cancelled, I decided to say this.

The "Snyderverse" - Man of Steel, Batman v Superman, Zack Snyder's Justice League - are my inspiration. BvS, especially, is by far the best superhero film I've ever seen, and my favourite movie. These ingenious stories motivate me. I deeply relate to their central hero. They give me hope for the future when world events make me feel sick. They remind me what it means to be a hero and a good person when other stories think that hope and truth don't mix. They show me what this genre can achieve with its thematic and character depth. I love these movies. They're remarkable, excellent works of fiction, and I will *never* apologise for that, no matter how much anyone tries to shame me to.

I'm working on another project on the side, my first serious story. I hope to bring it to life someday as a webcomic, and if it's even a tenth as good as BvS, I'll be deeply satisfied with my skills as a writer.

This morning I learned my friend MitoFox has just passed away.

I won't upset you with the details of his passing, but for those who don't know, he's an amazing artist and wonderful friend whose amazing work I encourage you to check out.

He'll be sorely missed.

Just letting you all know that I've updated every Streak-related character portrait with a comprehensive list of every other hero and villain in the description. Before, these lists were incomplete, since I couldn't be bothered to update all of them with each new portrait. Now that I've uploaded Alejandro (the last portrait and character I think I'll commission from sparksstars) I've gone ahead and fixed them all! In other words, if you go to the description of any Streak character's portrait, you'll now found links to every other character too!

Considering a lot of users have been making journals informing their watchers of where else they can be found after the recent site maintenance, I thought it would be best to do the same, plus a reminder.

General-rated, suitable-for-work versions of my Streak stories can be found on my DeviantArt, plus all the other SFW artwork I post here. The season 1 general-rated stories are also better than the adult-rated versions, as I took the liberty of updating and polishing up the SFW versions after submitting them and I have still not gotten around to updating the adult versions, but I will eventually, so don't worry.

So, if anyone here doesn't want to read my adult works but still wants to read Streak's adventures, be sure to pay a visit to my DeviantArt!

It's about time I gave an official name to heroes bonded with entities from Falcon's dimension.

From this moment on, they are officially known as the "Chosen Bonded". Alternatively, you can call them "Bonded heroes" or simply "Bonded".

I thought it was time because fan-made characters like Streamline here can be put in their own proper category, including for others who may want to create their own Bonded!

Just a heads up that, from the next story onward, Bedrock's cockney accent will be emphasised in his dialogue. I decided I wasn't satisfied with simply reminding the readers to imagine him using that accent, so I thought it best to write it for him, giving him that extra layer of personality.

Chad and Faith's new superhero names have officially been chosen and implemented into this month's chapter! I've also updated their portraits with the names!

If you've seen the images of our new superheroes, you probably know that they're going to be needing names! We last left off with Chad and Faith in need of new titles, and I'd like to put that question to you all!

So, do you have any names you'd like to suggest? Feel free to put forward as many as you like! I recommend, however, keeping to the general theme around the simple "Streak" name, so similar titles would be appreciated!
