Firstly, I just want to drop a little reminder that Superfurs HQ is still growing, and we'd be happy to have you!

Now, recently, the Leotard Brigade hit its 12th member (the 11th hasn't submitted his hero yet, and an older member doesn't have Discord)! However, this means we no longer had room in our chat group for it on Discord, so we went ahead and created a whole new server. Then I thought, why not just make a server for Streak-related stuff? And so I decided to do just that! If you want updates on Streak's stories, to roleplay in Beacon City, or talk about those things my readers and watchers especially like to talk about, then feel free to join here!

Today I submitted the final chapter for Season 1 of The Adventures of Streak (though I'll be renaming the series soon to "Streak: The Hero of Beacon City")!

Some of you may have noticed that the text in the latest chapter seemed a bit messed up, but I've now fixed that and everything is looking right again.

As for Season 2, I'm already deep in writing it, and I've already written about 95% of the plot descriptions for each story. At this moment, I'm submitting the General-rated versions of season 1 (with greater character focus) on DeviantArt on a weekly basis. I will likely be uploading the first story of season 2 a week after the sixteenth General-rated story is up there, at which point I will likely begin uploading each new story on a monthly basis, but maybe faster depending on how things look.

Lastly, when that time comes, I'll be issuing mass edits to every single Streak story, correcting other errors that people have noticed and tweaking a few things here and there based on constructive feedback! It won't be anything major. Mostly just fixing small errors here and there, or throwing in something that a story urgently needed, such as a character's response to an event that they originally needed a stronger response towards.

Lastly, I have one last announcement to make. One of the most common and consistent pieces of feedback is that Chad (the first Streak) died too quickly and didn't have much time to shine. I agree, his death comes right out of nowhere. As a result, I've been developing ideas and am now considering making the current season into season 2 (14 stories), and the upcoming season will be season 3 (16 stories), while stories #1 and #2 will be moved to the new season 1 (12 stories). The new season 1 will have ten new stories written for it. However, season 2 (3) is likely going to drain me dry, so I'm considering bringing on new talent to help me write the new season 1. But that depends on where I stand once I am done writing season 2 (3). We'll just have to wait and see how things turn out!

Here's to Adventures of Streak season 2!

Tomorrow is Christmas Day, so I'll be substituting this Monday's Streak story with something else tomorrow! You'll have to wait and see!

I'm working on some colourings again, and it shouldn't take too long before they're done, though I do have exams coming up (on the 10th and 13th) to worry about, so hopefully, they'll come shortly after that. I also know a lot of you Watch me because of the images from sparks220stars that I've been submitting, so don't worry, more of those will come soon enough! Of course, commissions cost money, so I'm pretty hesitant to start commissioning again, but I'm hoping it won't be too long before you see more. Apparently, I'm doing really well with funds, so I am in a good position to commission some more!

I do have a question for you all though. Of all my heroes (only), whose reference sheet would you like to see next? You may recall I've commissioned one for Streak II, and I might commission another in the future, so I'd like your suggestions!

Today I'm deleting all previous submissions of my Streak stories. The reason is that, on the 1st of October, a Monday, I will submit the first of the rewrites for the Adventures of Streak! Each further rewrite will be released on a weekly basis, every Monday. This is all because I'm rapidly nearing completion on the last few rewrites, so I think there's no reason not to start releasing them on a weekly basis, giving me time to finish both them and the PG versions!

Keep in mind that my later stories, being longer and of a higher standard, have undergone the fewest changes. That means the first rewrite on the 20th, Origin of Streak, won't be much different from the original version. However, it's immediately proceeded by The Final Story of Streak, which is my oldest Streak story, and has undergone some of the most radical changes! Think of it this way: the shorter the original story was, the more radical the change to the new rewrite!

Once the rewrites and the PG versions are done, I'll officially start writing Season 2! Most of the plots of Season 2's stories have already been written, so it won't take forever to dive in!

The reason I'm deleting my older Streak story submissions is that I want to start fresh. They're a bit of a mess right now, so I want to upload them all in chronological order.

Firstly, don't panic! It's not especially bad.

The bad news is that I won't be able to get Sansenite's Fantasies done by August. Sadly, I've just totally lacked any motivation to write it recently. That doesn't mean it's cancelled though. I've got so many ideas written down to adapt! But it won't be at least until another month at the minimum, sadly.

The good news is, I think my lack of motivation can be chalked up to my focus on Streak. The rewrites for his stories are coming along super well, and I don't want to lose momentum. It's also the reason I haven't been churning out colourings recently. That, and me struggling to enjoy the Summer.

Hey, everyone! So I thought I'd just give out a big update on recent plans and the future.

First of all, I won't be able to get Sansenite's Fantasies Volume 5 done before July 1st, so I'll postpone it to August 1st. I've been up to my ears in rewrites and other personal projects, so it's been hard to make any progress on that. I really, REALLY want to finish the Streak rewrites so I can move on to Season 2 and keep telling bigger stories since I have so many surprises I want to reveal! As much as I want to get out all my various fantasies to you, I find narrative-driven stories to be more compelling.

Secondly, I've got the entire Streak series planned out in my mind. Season 2 will last 14 stories, and that will be followed by a three-part special. Alternatively, Season 2 will be 16 stories and that'll be it. After that, that'll officially be the end of the Streak series. The reason is that I like a series that ends. I don't want to write Streak stories indefinitely. I want there to be a satisfying ending to the series, and I don't want it to become an ongoing, directionless thing. Plus, I don't think I can write for Streak forever. There are other things I want to do as well, and though I'd love to keep writing Streak stories, it's a lot of work that I can't balance. If I were simply writing my detailed plot descriptions, I could definitely keep it up indefinitely, but writing a story to fill up five super-size is a lot of work.

However, that doesn't mean that'll be the end of me on FurAffinity. I still expect to write more volumes of Sansenite's Fantasies while colouring for megawolf77. Beyond that? Who knows! Maybe someday I'll call it quits on the furry world, but for now, I have no plans on ever leaving!

Lastly, tomorrow will be my last image upload from sparksstars for a while since that'll be the last of my characters to upload. There will be more in the future. A lot more. But until I get started on Season 2, I don't have much reason to commission new stuff. However, I will be continuing my work on colouring megawolf77's line-art, which I REALLY want to keep up! I should also tell you that I plan on updating my older colourings to a higher standard.

So I've been trying to upload Villains of Beacon City today... without success. I just get a fatal system error from the site every time I try. But I'll keep trying again and again, and hopefully, it'll fix itself eventually.

In the meantime, I've managed to upload it successfully on DeviantArt here!

In other bad news, in an attempt to update Heroes of Beacon City on DA, the submission became "1". That's it. All text in the file was reduced to the number "1". Since I couldn't figure out what the problem is, I've deleted the submission for now. I'll try to fix it or ask for help from Support.

Anyway, be careful out there, folks! It's April Fools day, and people are going to be on the hunt! Oh, and FYI, this Journal itself is NOT an April Fools joke. It's just the very inconvenient problems I've been faced with on my monthly text-based upload day.

Just a quick update!

Today I uploaded the General-rated version of Heroes of Beacon City to FurAffinity and DeviantArt! All versions have also received a big update to their format, now with underlining, bullet points, and extra details! Best of all though, they now have three new characters! Typhoon, Street Guard, and Master Fu!

I skipped an image upload last Monday so that I can keep to my schedule of uploading something story-related every month without submitting too much stuff in a short amount of time. The next image will be uploaded this upcoming Monday, guaranteed!

Lastly, the next Sansenite's Fantasies is close to completion, but due to working on both rewrites and university work, I wasn't able to finish it in time, so I put the finishing touches on Heroes of Beacon City instead.

So I just got home from my last exam, but I took the precaution of backing up all my PC's most valuable data to an external hard drive before I packed up my computer for the trip home. Thankfully, the cold didn't damage it in any way. I learned some time ago to take these precautions after many years of not doing so. Have you?

Someone I Watch on DA lost all his stuff recently thanks to his computer breaking down. Both these recent events have made me realise it's a good idea to remind you that your data is VERY valuable, and I strongly suggest you take good care of it. Trust me, it's better safe than sorry, so I just suggest you take steps if you haven't already.

Greetings! So I have quite a few updates to give out and some doubly great news!

So to start, I should explain where I am with stories. The next Streak story is coming along well, but there was a significant delay, but that leads me to the first of the good news. I recently started work on something I should’ve done long ago. I’ve started writing detailed synopses for all future Streak stories. This has eaten up lots of my time, but it has seriously helped me arrange my thoughts and plan out what’s coming, and has definitely helped me get over my writer’s block and has put me back on track with the next Streak story. Or rather, it has now that I’m mostly done with all the other synopses for this “season”, and that leads me to my next piece of news.

The current “Streak vs.” series contains exactly 10 stories, so we’re over half-way there. Afterwards, I’ve already got a whole new “season 2” taking shape in my synopses documents. I also have to say that writing all these stories has done me wonders for my writing skills, and I’m really looking forward to the far more investing stories I have coming up. I’d really like to tell more meaningful stories, rather than simple excuses for superhero-related kinks, and I think I’m really heading in the right direction. So a big thanks to all of you who have been reading them and given me some very much appreciated faves and feedback! (And please, do not be hesitant to express honest thoughts on my works. Constructive criticism is something I desperately want!)

In the meantime, I’m also thinking of giving ALL my Streak stories so far some proper numbers to indicate their position in the timeline, combining them all into a single season. Not only that, but since I seem to share George Lucas’s affinity for coming back and making changes to older works, I am planning on extensive rewrites to my older stories to polish them up and make them far more professional and streamlined with the overarching story (and, of course, make them PART of the overarching story). But no, I am not done yet. I am also considering making PG, SFW versions of every Streak story so that those of you less interested in the kinky side of things will be able to enjoy my attempts at serious and more creative storytelling without the obvious adult stuff getting in the way, since I really want Streak to be more than just a generic character used as an avatar for my kinky ideas, and making alternate versions of his stories without those distractions is exactly what I need to do!

That’s the first half of the good news. The second is that, thanks to my good buddy megawolf77, I have found an excellent method of cel shading the colourings I do for him. It’s called the “pen” tool, and it will be a HUGE help, as you can see with my latest submission, and I plan on applying it plenty. With that in mind, you’ll hopefully get some much better quality colourings from me in the near future, and at a much faster rate. This also includes some shiny new re-colourings of my older ones, updated with what I’ve learned from colouring over time, and possibly with the much better shading.

Finally, I am honestly considering deleting some of my older stories. Specifically, the ones with the fewest favourites. A lot of them are definitely not my proudest works (I deleted a cringe-worthy fan-fiction some time ago already) and I feel like they leave an embarrassing mark in my gallery.

I'm making good headway on the next story, but in the next story after that, I will be reintroducing an older villain, Deception, who first appeared in the very first Streak story I ever wrote!

Deception is a villainous British male vulture with the ability to create convincing illusions and scenarios in the minds of his victims. My first design for his outfit was a sort of victorian-era tailcoated suit, lots of dark and gothic colours, very rich-looking.

Now, I'm thinking of giving him a redesign, and I would LOVE to hear your thoughts on what you think he should look like. Though I do ask for one detail to be maintained: coattails! I love coattails! So, with that said, feel free to be as specific and as detailed as you like in your descriptions, and even change the species if you really want! I'd really love to hear your ideas!

However, please don't be offended if I reject the design you offer. I can only accept one, or combine elements from multiple designs.

At long last, my exams are over and the summer can begin! Look forward to a whole bunch of new colourings and stories! At least, hopefully...

I did have a question though. I could have sworn I once saw someone's promo image for a fake animated TV show about a team of superhero werewolves. Sadly, I don't remember anything else about it. I was wondering if anyone else may have heard of it? I ask since I've been thinking of writing my own stories based on the concept of a team of superhero werewolves (all wearing speedos and leotards, of course...).

Well, the semester is over... again. Now that I have much more free time on my hands, perhaps I can get some more writing and colouring done. At least I will after my birthday (the 19th) and Christmas.

So sorry for all the delays so far. I can tell you though that I have three stories very close to completion, and one colouring just teetering on the edge of finality!

Well, next semester is sadly about to start, and I've barely gotten anything out all Summer. Although I have uploaded quite a few recolourings of some of my older colourings, so feel free to go browse through my gallery and look for the updated (with shading and shine) images!

Since I've lost inspiration to work on Streak for the time being, I've started working on another story (specifically an anthology of three stories), but I've sadly fallen ill with a cold or something and I simply can't write right now. But maybe this semester will motivate me to get more done in my more limited free time now, since during the Summer all I wanted to do was relax.

There are also plenty more colourings to come too!

OC: Streak II

#1: Streak II is the superhero fox successor to the first Streak, a wolf.

#2: Within his mind is "Falcon", the mystical inter-dimensional energy being who guides the young fox with his wisdom and empowers him with his great strength, durability, endurance, healing and his signature blue trail through the night sky.

#3: He never needs to eat, drink, sleep (unless he is exhausted from physical exertion) or use the bathroom. Falcon's powers sustain him indefinitely, also preventing him from aging.

#4: The original Streak was inspired by a female character of mine from the game Champions Online, whose backstory also included Falcon. I have since lost interest in her and created Streak in Champions Online in her place.

#5: Streak is hugely unsure of himself, far more cautious and timid than his predecessor, choosing to bide his time and plan his next move before acting. Under almost constant pressure from Falcon to improve, he fears he may never live up to his responsibility, especially considering how many times he has been beaten by his villains.

#6: His nemesis is Manasa, the serpent enchantress who had previously enslaved his mind to her will. Now obsessed with her former pet, she will stop at nothing to have the leotard-clad superfox in her clutches once again.

#7: The simplicity of his costume comes from two elements: cost and practicality. Due to being homeless, Streak could not afford any kind of high-end costume, so Beacon City's resident superhero costume designer chose to simply create him the same simplistic costume as the original Streak, made out of simple materials in a short amount of time. Secondly, the outfit is designed to resemble that of a professional acrobat, giving Streak the lightness and freedom of movement to perform various impressive athletic feats without restriction. The result is a simple high-cut lycra blue leotard and matching boots that are essentially lycra blue socks with soles.

#8: In addition to his enhanced condition, Streak has one other power known simply as "omnisight", allowing him to focus and send his vision away from his body, allowing him to explore his surrounding rapidly with his mind without moving. From his perspective, this appears as though his eyes were leaving his head and flying around.

Animal heads were recently added to Champions Online. You do need to buy the animal head pack from the Zen Store to get them though, unfortunately. But if you're willing to spend the money, you may find the game to be more fur-friendly now! I'll also be uploading an image of my updated Streak some time soon, hopefully!
