So, after talking with other paid story writers in this community, I realized I'm only charging 2 cents a word, when most other artists need AT LEAST 3-4 cents a word to make their work sustainable. It really sucks to think about, but when my GROCERIES are starting to be more expensive than the commissions I'm selling, I need to raise my prices. And this time, I don't have the luxury of going back and applauding a return to the old ways -- it's do or die for me now. I either charge more for my work or I stop offering it completely, and I know which one you'd prefer I not do, so here we go!

On the bright side, I can actually offer discounts and sales without giving the house away! This will consolidate the intended "loyalty rewards" from the previous opening and add a bunch of rewards and features that I've been sitting on for awhile. For example, I'm offering a flat discount until 2026 on Mariana- and Bella-Tier stories to help soften the transition! There are also other ways you can shave bucks off that price tag -- monthly sales, character discounts, Slickbux kickbacks and more!

What's Next?
I'm currently looking into other avenues for income, like paid download vore stories and such like. As I said before, I'll do what I have to do to keep my noodle nose in this community! I also continue to aspire to bigger and more powerful projects, but for now, my aspirations are limited to scoring commission money back. Once I've made some money under these new prices, I'll start planning some bigger projects. Don't worry -- no commission slots will be postponed due to big book ideas, at least not until I've sold a few for the holidays!

It features nine incredible stories, each starring one of my girls as a ghoulishly gluttonous predator in a very spooky vorror scenario!

That's right! I've written my way through over half of the stories in Berried Alive and we're just entering September! It's a much MUCH more manageable workload for me and I'm happy to see that my foresight has given me lots of room to play and let real life butt in. Part of the reason why previous Berried Alive installments were difficult was because I started so late and my own expectations were crushing me over time. I still whip myself pretty hard to get these done, granted, but that's just cause I don't like to waste my own time. The biggest struggle now is making sure I have money in my PayPal account, as the auction didn't make as much as I hoped it would. I'm not in dire need of cash, but the lack of funding does mean I need to stretch out my uploads to make the novelty last for longer.

Slick's Birthday Update! ^O^
Posted 2 months agoHey gang! Slick here, and I've hit the big ol' three-five! That means I've still got a long time before I need an Everstone to avoid evolving! In the meantime, this blossoming Dratini and/or Dragonair will continue to put out good and solid quality content for you! :3
Well, not today cause it's my birthday and I need to enjoy it with my friends, but STILL! <3
So far, 2025 has been a bit challenging! Most of what I set out to do has been reachable, but my Berried Alive money is looking a little low again, and I'm having to make some hard choices about what I get from artists to feed the populace with. It's also been rewarding though, with multiple pieces coming in that were stuck with long-run artists for a year or more. I'm looking forward to uploading them... when I have the time! There's been a lot to do, ehehe... ^O^;
I'm currently working writing stories for my big Berried Alive: Readers Digested book, the fourth of an (almost) annual series that started back in 2021. I've got at least 3 stories done and will have more in production very soon! I'm farther ahead right now than I've ever been working on these, so hey, that's nice!
I've also got to get acclimated to my new rehearsal schedule. Slick's picked up a role in a local playhouse horror production to help give him something else to feed into the creative feedback loop! My logic is that I've started early enough that I'll have time to juggle both projects, and if I get stuck on the writing, I can focus on the performance and maybe the one will help shake some ideas loose in the other!
On top of all that, the uploads I'm picking up are starting to stack up with the commissions coming home to roost and everybody's swell gifts! I almost can't keep track of all of the fun stuff coming in! That means I'll probably have to wait a bit to do some uploads, but trust me, the uploads WILL be done!
In the meantime, I'm a simple noodle with simple needs! If you want to show your love for the noodle without going through the commissions process, just go to my KoFi at https://ko-fi.com/slickdratini, and feel free to leave whatever amount of dono you want! It doesn't matter how much it is, any little bit helps. And even if you can't leave anything behind -- trust me, I get it, I have to think really hard before rounding up for charity at a retail store -- then your well-wishes are more than enough! Slick's Vore Day Update! ^O^
Posted 3 months agoSo Slick realized recently that trying to chase EVERY POSSIBLE DAY on the Pokémon and/or fetish calendar is a mug's game, so I'm not gonna do it! There may be some holidays that I try to prepare for or take part in, but since I eschew the hostile world of today's social media, I basically get zero prompting for any given day until the day's already there, and I'm not gonna force artists to cram in a quick pic just for me. It's just not fair to either of us.
What you can expect from Slick are pieces with more thought and consideration poured into their providence. Banger ideas that I've had sitting on my shelves for months and that are still just as fun to think about today as they were when I first conceived them. THOSE are what I'll focus on more than anything, and even if I end up lagging behind in "trendiness", I don't want to be a trend follower, I wanna be a trend-setter! You can't lead if you're chasing other Pokémon's tails!
So yeah, I don't have anything super-special planned for Vore Day. Thankfully, I DO have a sudden Rat-Byte piece to share! So I'll do that. <3
Also, latest update on Berried Alive -- I have TWO stories finished out of a possible eight or nine! (The only reason I'm unsure of the total amount is that two of them are two halves of a greater story that interlink together, so I'm not entirely sure if that counts as one or not.)
Those of you who are participating in Vore Day today, don't forget to honor the artists who made your participation possible! They're the beans that make this world go 'round! ^O^

BA Prey Auctions COMPLETE!
Posted 4 months agoIt's all done! Current step is to send invoices for payment from all of the winners and establish contact with those who I didn't already have in my Discord. Once all invoices are paid, I'll start working on the stories in the order that they'll appear in the storybook. If any unexpected developments happen, I'll let you know, otherwise expect my regular upload schedule to resume gradually over the next few weeks!
Also, thanks to the generosity of people in my server, we've also unlocked the Beast Hunter Annabelle stretch goal! I'll be investing in a special ref sheet for that "job" so that we can play with her in another fun style of setting! ;9

With Berried Alive returning to syndication after the 2024 hiatus, SlickDratini's gallery has gotten a little too big to ensure every girl can have their own story. Today, we ask two pairs of girls how they're coping with the necessary changes, whether they're newly minted and eager to show their stuff or already familiar with the business. There's only just over a day of auction time, so while there's not a lot of room left to bid, they do seem to have a lot that they want to say... whether or not it follows my interviewing itinerary.

It was at this point that Shauna tried to swipe at Julia, but the salt line around her seat kept her at bay.

It's a tough pill, to be sure, but he swore he would be different, that he would stay with her until the end. Selena turns out to be a sleep-eater, gulping him into her greedy belly without waking up, but he seems unthreatened... that is, until she sleep-eats a Bug-type that happened to wander into his room. The moment he sees a second prey inside of her stomach, the trainer realizes that he's doomed, and the night passes with her rotund gut slowly shrinking. By the time she wakes up the next morning, her trainer's fully and totally gone, lost to her belly. Time to go back to that Pokécenter and get adopted again!

Berried Alive Auctions - 1 Week Update!

If you've been following along, you know that my Berried Alive Prey Auctions -- the delightful event where I open the doors and let you guys bid for prey slots in my fun Halloween vore anthology -- opened this time last week, and usually after 1 week, that's it! Come heck or high water, these things are typically done the night after I first open!
Well, this year is different, because I'm trying to get it started earlier and run the auctions for a little longer so that more people can participate in them! With enough time, a lot of monetary goals are achievable, and I don't want to push my bidders into doing some crazy shit to score a slot right on time for the end of the auctions! I want to have the time for my bidders to mull over what they really want, and if they want to dive deep, I want them to have the chance to do that! That's why instead of announcing the winners after one week, I'm doing a progress update, because the current deadline for the end of the auctions is July 12!
(Yes, I've been saying July 11, but I meant to say "last full day" for that... I can be a dumb noodle sometimes. ^^; )

I want to be the guy whose stories you cum to the first time, and then come back to because you love the writing and the depth of story! I offer my finished storybooks for free access so that everyone can enjoy the content I spent so much time crafting, but if these feature-length productions compete with my regular commissions in profitability, some story and art ideas will have to stay in the concept room -- possibly for good!
That's why this Berried Alive is getting an extension! There's so much I might be missing by trying to adhere to punctual openings and closings, so I started this one up earlier and opened with a few less slots for a reason: To give all of us more time to prepare some real bangers! You have more time to save up your money, talk with your friends about shared payments, and compete for the slot of your dreams! I have more time to raise up money, plan out the stories once they're sold, and get them all hot and ready for the spooky times! It's all possible if we just work together and help it reach its goals, and I'm willing to hold that window open for an extra length of time! Maybe even more!

Vacation Next Week!
Posted 5 months agoHey folks! Just a quick note that I'm not gonna be doing any uploads until after vacation. Nothing's really wrong, I just wanted to have the mental freedom to enjoy the rare moments I have that aren't busy. When I get back, I'll be opening the Berried Alive Prey Auctions, and the months to come will likely be peppered with home improvement work! I can juggle it alongwith my day job and story writing, but it's gonna be plenty of work, so that's why I'm milking the lazy time now -- I'm gonna have a lot to do when I get back!

Slickbux - The New Changes!
Posted 5 months agoHey gang! Slick here, and I've been mulling over the question of how to keep Slickbux -- that is, the credit I extend to my customers for buying art on my behalf -- as a sustainable metric.
With the economy being so grumpy and certain customers taxing me with their expectations, it's become apparent that allowing Slickbux to be so easy to earn and use is essentially allowing some double-dipping and some choosing beggar mindsets, and while I love you guys and would be happy to write your fantasies around the clock, I need to encourage purchases with real cash too. Can't really do that the way things have been going, so thus I have to tighten the reins and impose a few more restrictions on how it's earned and how it's spent. Don't worry: even if I'm adding more rules, there are ways to relax them later on! Anyway, to the changes!
Slickbux (Earning)
- Artwork exclusively of my own OCs now earns Slickbux at a 75% rate (i.e. 3 SB per 4 USD)
- Artwork where my OC interacts with a buyer's OC for a limited duration and remains the primary character of the art piece will earn Slickbux at a 50% rate (i.e. 2 SB per 4 USD)
- Artwork where my OC interacts with a buyer's OC and shares equal parity in the art piece will earn Slickbux at a 25% rate (i.e. 1 SB per 4 USD)
- "Special Cases" -- like being an art piece with the inspiration taken directly from my personal to-do list -- will increase earned SB by 10-25%, dependent on the situation
Slickbux (Spending)
- Most stories will now include an SB limit of 25-50%, meaning that the other 75-50% must be covered with cash
- "Special Cases" -- like investing in a "comm-ready prompt" that I actively want to write a story about -- will increase the spendable SB limit by 10-25%, dependent on the situation
- Slickbux can now be spent to help fund group stories, increasing their overall value and unlocking bonus content like character cameos and tie-in art pieces
- Slickbux can now be spent on artist liaison services, for those clients who want to oversee artwork from a particular streaming artist but are limited by time zones and other factors (the use of SB in this manner is limited to times that are compatible with my own schedule)
- Other Slickbux services without standardized costs -- like adding dialogue to an artist's comic page, or even willing me to stream games for my server to watch -- may be considered on a case-by-case basis; due to how loose the limits are on these opportunities, I can't lock in their respective rates until enough reasonable transactions have occurred; roleplaying will not be considered for any amount of Slickbux (my apologies)
Breaking the Changes Down
The dollar-for-dollar method I was using before was fun, but I was often spending double time not only writing the story in exchange, but overseeing the art piece that was requested, removing all burden on the client past their initial investment in the art piece. This has unfortunately resulted in occasions where a client's view of a story's value is that it's not worth anything at all, because they haven't put any money into that side of the transaction. On the other hand, the only real reward that people could spend Slickbux on were my stories, and while many people love them, the lack of extra options doesn't do much to help quantify its value either. I'm not running a mining company store here, I want you to be able to spend your Slickbux on more than just one thing, so I'm going to experiment with a few extra options with SB spending. They may sell, they may not, the point is that I'm making the effort! I couldn't have a successful gallery without you guys, and I want you to know that I'll show my appreciation one way or another!
To reframe my commissions in a way that better emphasizes their intrinsic value, I've taken steps to ensure that even in the short stories, a transfer of actual cash is still a vital part of the Slickbux process. I'm no cryptobro; I want my fiat Slickbux to be backed with hard currency, because when a client pays for even a part of their commission, they get the respect of a creator delivering a product that's paid for, and the client gets the right to a refund and other fun protections that just Slickbux wouldn't provide. My use of "Special Cases" allows me to loosen these added restrictions whenever necessary, but I'll feel out exactly where and when to relax those rules for my client's benefit. And while I don't know exactly how to charge for every possible service, I will leave the door open for negotiation; just don't forget that I decide what I am or am not comfortable with doing, for love or money.
In Summary
I've been pretty creative about knocking the owed amounts down, but I'll run out of clever ideas if I don't make a change now, and I know that nobody wants me to actually raise my prices! That's why I'm doing a soft beta test of these changes for now; with a solid foundation of value and trust, these adjustments will help future clientele get a better grasp of how to plan for art and stories moving forward, and I won't end up hip-deep in a pool of story debt that no one wants to help me out of!

I really don't want to cause this site to go down again, but given the endurance trial it is to upload stuff even at the best of times, I wouldn't be the one Evergreening the site flow anyhow. Anyhow, I'm currently getting started on yet another story for a client, but I'll be uploading and working very soon! Posted 6 months agoHey guys! Slick here with a quick update: It's the busy season and I'm prioritizing getting work done over showing it off!
The Hiatus, Explained
I know that makes it difficult to appreciate my work, but trust me, I'm getting it done! I just need to wait for artists and the clients buying from some artists of their own to release the stories I've written; we all want them to do their best, and they're not gonna do that with just any old thumbnail. They need visual accompaniment to hit maximum perfection, so it'll be a little bit before I release them. What I can at least tell you that the Hunter Anna's Ab Workout big story AND a two-parter called A Full Party featuring Gallie and many of AmarthTheRiolu's characters are all completed and sitting on my browser's mantelpiece like polished gold!
What's happening on other fronts is that I don't have too much to show art-wise, so I'm letting that dam up so that I have a cool fusillade of artwork to share later on. I've also got some work here at home to take care of, so I'm going to get on the ball for that...
And the last bit of news to update is that I'm probably going to have to restructure how my Slickbux works very soon.
Slickbux Changes, and the Mulling Over of...
Slickbux commissions -- that is, commissions that are basically given in trade with commissioners -- have revealed themselves to have a dark side: Clients are less likely to respect the value of what they get when they aren't paying for my stories directly. Yes, they're paying for my work indirectly, but when most of the art they're buying is a fun and satisfying by already, sometimes the story is viewed as having an extra $20 in their pocket. I put my heart and soul into every story I write and never write it just to indulge the libido (though that's a big part of it), so when my clientele starts becoming choosing beggars, it tells me that they don't understand the value of what I provide. Thus, I might have to either back down the amount of reward that Slickbux offers, or cap the amount of Slickbux that can be spent on a story so that clients have to spend some of their own cash to get the ball rolling. I may also be making a to-do list of client work so that people can see what my plans are, cause I feel like that kept me from getting lazy, but I'm also the kind of guy who judges myself for being lazy even when I take one day out of a six-day workweek to mainline mahjong game like it's an illicit drug. I can't really trust myself when it comes to judging how hard I work, how valuable my work is, or how much time I really need to get it done. I'm just a poor noodle doing the best I can -- and the word "poor" is becoming increasingly prevalent in these harsh times. ;O;
Mariana, the YCH
To help combat the above economic stress, my friend Nocom and I have put our heads together on a fun YCH with a LOT of booty and space for a smaller OC... and given how big Mariana and her butt are, there are plenty of OCs who would count as "small" for it! It's a YCH that's sold fairly well just advertising it to my Discord server and those who can read my status message on Discord. It's been a 50-50 split between us, because my artist friendo needs a little help too, and he deserves to see results from what he's putting his time into. My last YCH with Nocom sold to ten clients from the efforts on my server alone, and we didn't share it with FA (yet). This one, however, we WILL be be commuting to FA starting tomorrow, April 27! A second surge of interest on it would be huge for us, and it's a very trendy YCH, so I think you're gonna love it! We're also gonna be making a single picture follow-up to it if there's enough buyers at the end of the YCH sale! ;3
If you want to get an early jump on it, you can still reach me on Discord past midnight EDT tonight, and tomorrow around midday. The Hiatus, Explained
I know that makes it difficult to appreciate my work, but trust me, I'm getting it done! I just need to wait for artists and the clients buying from some artists of their own to release the stories I've written; we all want them to do their best, and they're not gonna do that with just any old thumbnail. They need visual accompaniment to hit maximum perfection, so it'll be a little bit before I release them. What I can at least tell you that the Hunter Anna's Ab Workout big story AND a two-parter called A Full Party featuring Gallie and many of AmarthTheRiolu's characters are all completed and sitting on my browser's mantelpiece like polished gold!
What's happening on other fronts is that I don't have too much to show art-wise, so I'm letting that dam up so that I have a cool fusillade of artwork to share later on. I've also got some work here at home to take care of, so I'm going to get on the ball for that...
And the last bit of news to update is that I'm probably going to have to restructure how my Slickbux works very soon.
Slickbux Changes, and the Mulling Over of...
Slickbux commissions -- that is, commissions that are basically given in trade with commissioners -- have revealed themselves to have a dark side: Clients are less likely to respect the value of what they get when they aren't paying for my stories directly. Yes, they're paying for my work indirectly, but when most of the art they're buying is a fun and satisfying by already, sometimes the story is viewed as having an extra $20 in their pocket. I put my heart and soul into every story I write and never write it just to indulge the libido (though that's a big part of it), so when my clientele starts becoming choosing beggars, it tells me that they don't understand the value of what I provide. Thus, I might have to either back down the amount of reward that Slickbux offers, or cap the amount of Slickbux that can be spent on a story so that clients have to spend some of their own cash to get the ball rolling. I do, and lately a thought has been burning in my mind: Alternate universe versions of my girls in adventurous fantasy play is really fun! So I'm revisiting that version of Annabelle with a very hot and drop-dead sexy story premise!
The Premise
The fantasy universe Annabelle is working as a beast hunter, and she boasts to her fellow hunters that her sexy abs won't ever be ruined by her carnivorous diet. Knowing how she eats, they make a bet with her to prove it, one that starts with her eating their "emergency rations" -- a small helper character who never expected they'd be feeding their hunter so directly -- and digesting them to prove her abs are still as hot as ever. As she churns them away, her fellow hunters decide to go "double or nothing", certain that she can't keep getting away with totally liquifying her prey and burning off the fat. Soon, prey her same size enter her stomach and are rapidly churned away, giving her an even richer rump as her smoking hot abs continue to defy explanation. The other hunters, now expecting to be deep in debt, escalate it to seeing if Annabelle can keep her perfect abs even after churning away a whole dragon. They feel like this is going to be the moment when she overextends herself... but if Anna manages it, then they know their lacking funds will see them paying her back in another, more final way!
It's a premise that's been cooking in my server for a little while, and a couple of happy helpers have even put in some cash for it! I come here to go public with the offer for assistance, because this idea's gotten a lot of traction in my mind and I'm very close to making it a big event!
To be clear, this is NOT Monster Hunter, and I know nothing about Monster Hunter, so if anyone expects me to tie in stuff with Monhun, you're going to be disappointed. I may take a nod or two by what my friends will tell me, but this is just a legally distinct fantasy adventure concept where hot-abbed plantgirls will get a chance to churn down whole creatures in their belly.
With that disclaimer, I present the fundraising incentive roadmap, of which it's already hit$180! $240?! $300?!?! (Mostly in Slickbux, but STILL!)

A Totally Serious Reveal (Don't look at the date!)
Posted 7 months agoI've gotten a job as a banker to pay for my rampant Julia addiction. The moment I stepped into the office and sat upon the high-backed chair, I forgot what class I was and wanted to start taking everyone else's money and not give it back to them. I started worrying about the moral welfare of my popsicle stick children that I made literally just before leaving the house. What if they found out about my sordid habits? Would the people at the church I don't go to start whispering rumors about them? It was my responsibility to look out for them as people and give them the best chance to comfortably ignore the embezzlement suit that I'm planning on getting into. (It's okay, I'm not gonna see a day of jail time with our current administration.)
So this is me announcing that I'm not going to be doing any furry art anymore. If you come to me to buy furry art? Tough cookies. I've sworn off of it forever. And on that note, forget human art too. I'm never gonna touch a pen again, I'm just gonna word-relay all of my pixels through painstaking resolution coordinates through Bluetooth. In addition, I've decided that the next Berried Alive is going to be scratch-and-sniff. Hope you like the smell of berries and dirt, cause there will be no text, just peelable pages of that scent. I'm sure I'll find a print house that hasn't thrown me out yet. Also, I think butts are icky and gross, and that plantgirls are lame--

It'll be a nice way to build up the writing demiurge again and get in some practice ahead of Berried Alive 2025, which, yes, WILL happen this year. If you have any fun ideas for what you want to see in this year's Halloween Vore Anthology, please make a few mentions in the comments below! And sorry about the opening bit, I just wanted to prove to you guys that I still have what it takes to deliver a scare. XD

Noodle Status - Early Spring 2025 (CW: Loss)
Posted 8 months agoIt's time for another update for my favorite noodles! This one's gonna be kinda somber, though.
How It's Going
My grandpa passed away just the other morning.
Despite this, I'm doing... okayish? I want to say okayish.
The reason for this is that my grandpa was already on death's door back in the hospital in mid-February, yet he was a fighter. His body refused to quit while he was in the hospital. He didn't want to end his story there, he wanted to be able to do it in his bed at home, not in a hospital bed with him chained to IVs and monitors. We put forth every effort to help him stay calm and comfortable in his last days, and took every opportunity to visit and help out. By the end, we'd gotten his oxygen sorted out, the wheelchair access ramp installed, and were working on getting him a bed that he could relax in without my grandma needing to pull something to get him in and out of it. My grandpa was even starting to walk for small periods again, but I've learned that the body has a "golden period" where the strength in it resurges just for a little while before the end. My grandpa's time came and he got the peaceful end that he deserved.
I'm going to miss him, but I know that someday, when my time comes, I'll be able to see him again. Him and everyone else who made it across that line before me. Right now, he's seeing family and friends that he hasn't seen in so many years, and I'm sure he's happy where he's gone.
For me, I'm glad that I have you guys. Your support over the years has been immeasurable to my good emotional health. Whether you're just commenting one time on a piece you like or you've bought stories from me, I've prospered with your help. Many and many thanks to all of you -- especially my friends in my private Discord server. I couldn't do this without you.
Commission News
I know that I've been underperforming at the start of this year, and I'm sorry for that. The above situation slowed me down immensely, and even if I'm feeling... okayish... it's still going to take some time for the plug on my story muse to be released. I'm also working on helping my brother get a new job -- he had to quit the one he was working because the strain of trying to juggle that and helping my grandpa was too untenable to keep both going at the same time. I totally understand and accept his decision, and I know that he'll find another place when he's ready. Lastly, it's still so cold that thawing out my writing arms and writing fingers (both things a noodle needs since he doesn't have them on his own) is going to take some time. Maybe when the weather warms up again, both physically and emotionally, I'll be able to get back to it.
Of course, that doesn't mean I don't have an interest in getting back to it soon! I'd be writing today if I could! That said, merchant services don't wait for your life to calm down before asking for more money, so I'm going to need to show off the Ko-Fi link again! ^O^;

March Plans
Well, naturally my biggest challenge will be getting back into the rhythm and not getting sick from the changing seasons. We introduced the new character Julia last month, and I knocked out some beautiful art and story uploads, but there's more items in my to-do list that are harder to achieve. Searching for artists and ironing out commission costs is harder now than it was, but the helpers I am finding are very helpful. I've not been able to update the goals list because the moment I have an idea to be funded, it seems to get funding! I'm going to work on getting some ideas lined up so that I have something for people to reach for. I might even do a non-Halloween story event! Story events tend to be a huge motivation booster for me, so we'll see how things go! I can't lock in any BIG plans while I'm in this emotional state, but I do want to plant a flag here and there for future possibilities.

Just please be gentle with me for a bit... this is the second March in a row where I've lost someone who means a lot to me. How It's Going
My grandpa passed away just the other morning.
Despite this, I'm doing... okayish? I want to say okayish.
The reason for this is that my grandpa was already on death's door back in the hospital in mid-February, yet he was a fighter. His body refused to quit while he was in the hospital. He didn't want to end his story there, he wanted to be able to do it in his bed at home, not in a hospital bed with him chained to IVs and monitors. We put forth every effort to help him stay calm and comfortable in his last days, and took every opportunity to visit and help out. By the end, we'd gotten his oxygen sorted out, the wheelchair access ramp installed, and were working on getting him a bed that he could relax in without my grandma needing to pull something to get him in and out of it. My grandpa was even starting to walk for small periods again, but I've learned that the body has a "golden period" where the strength in it resurges just for a little while before the end. My grandpa's time came and he got the peaceful end that he deserved.
I'm going to miss him, but I know that someday, when my time comes, I'll be able to see him again. Him and everyone else who made it across that line before me. Right now, he's seeing family and friends that he hasn't seen in so many years, and I'm sure he's happy where he's gone.
For me, I'm glad that I have you guys. Your support over the years has been immeasurable to my good emotional health. Whether you're just commenting one time on a piece you like or you've bought stories from me, I've prospered with your help. Many and many thanks to all of you -- especially my friends in my private Discord server. I couldn't do this without you.
Commission News
I know that I've been underperforming at the start of this year, and I'm sorry for that. The above situation slowed me down immensely, and even if I'm feeling... okayish... it's still going to take some time for the plug on my story muse to be released. I'm also working on helping my brother get a new job -- he had to quit the one he was working because the strain of trying to juggle that and helping my grandpa was too untenable to keep both going at the same time. I totally understand and accept his decision, and I know that he'll find another place when he's ready. Lastly, it's still so cold that thawing out my writing arms and writing fingers (both things a noodle needs since he doesn't have them on his own) is going to take some time. Maybe when the weather warms up again, both physically and emotionally, I'll be able to get back to it.
Of course, that doesn't mean I don't have an interest in getting back to it soon! I'd be writing today if I could! That said, merchant services don't wait for your life to calm down before asking for more money, so I'm going to need to show off the Ko-Fi link again! ^O^;

Noodle Status - Late Winter 2025

How It's Going
Family news, my grandpa ended up in the hospital again for a condition that... well, quite frankly he should be dead, and yet he lives. This is good, I love the old man in spite of his foibles, and I hope that this time on this planet continues with a little wiser dieting. It put a few things into perspective that I know some people need to think about more; things may be tough in this country, but for some of us, this is the only home we have, and it's our job to make it a better home for ourselves and those around us. If you're not making enough money, consider trying a new career or opening a new side business. If your tastes are too expensive, tighten the belt a bit and wait for the deals -- they always come. And if you miss your friends, take some time out of your busy schedule to spend time with them. You never know what the future may bring, and you'll be glad you took the time later while you had it.

Early January had the big ice storm taking over most of the attention, and I was experiencing a big freeze myself in the form of my commission motivation. Didn't get it sorted out until late in January, when I rolled back my prices to the 2024 levels. As much as I felt like I was getting too much business, the raising prices of goods is a strong reminder that sometimes you need to take what you can get, and my previous prices honestly felt right, so there they'll be and there they'll stay! I just finished one and am taking a day's break before I prepare another! Gotta spend some time uploading my art, after all! I also don't list items publicly anymore, preferring to knock them out one at a time, but I might line up multiple commissions at a time so that the pressure helps goad me into actually working. She may not be that well-liked here, but then again, my robot girl Dottie was seemingly an odd choice when she was first introduced and yet she's gaining a lot of traction these days! With the lovely Eka's Portal artist willudie hammering out an incredible intro piece, I'm willing to give her a go if you are~!

Story Commission REOPENING for 2025!

Okay, so while I got a couple bites, I wasn't really able to jump on any of them, and I think I know why: It sucks that everything is more expensive these days. It's an easy conclusion to be like "Well, I'll just raise my prices to meet the new demand," but it's not so easy to see returns when what you sell is a luxury commodity. Besides, doing that just means I'm a part of the problem, not a part of the solution. It's not about the lump sum income, it's about the sustainable income, and I could feel the conflict in my noodly bones as I struggled to grasp the joy of my more expensive commissions. After asking my beloved supporters in my server, I've decided to reverse a change that I honestly never should have made.
I'm going back to the old prices!!

That's right! The nice round numbers that you're familiar with from 2023 and 2024 are BACK, and without taxes or added fees! They're prices that worked very well and I honestly should have stuck with them before, but now that the price is back to a fair and agreeable level, I can start taking forms in droves!
+ Nibbles Tier (1500-3000 Words) -- $60$80
+ Mariana Tier (4500-6000 Words) -- $120$140
+ Bella Tier (7500-9000 Words) -- $180$200

Feature-Length stories are series-oriented, featuring one story split up over multiple chapters, and tend to be month-long projects, so they usually include a little extra charge to offset the fact that I have to prioritize one comm over many! Outside of the added cost, these will simply be based on how many chapters you ask for and their own sizes, kind of like asking for commissions in bulk. They're well worth the price according to the clients who have bought them, and they often lend themselves to great opportunities for sweet cover art!
Description Vignettes are those fun little mini-stories that I write for my own descriptions, now offered to you in case you want one for your own purchases! They come at a preset cost, and I'll naturally have a lot more to work with on a commission that personally inspires me! Word count isn't the big detail as much as is choosing the right words, so what you'll be getting for that $10 isn't just a handful of words that anyone could put down, you'll be getting the ones that I would put down and stand behind with pride!

Ever since I received that wonderful gift, I've considered Dottie and Tylee as a fun adversarial couple and dreamed of the day when Mobi's Tylee could put Dottie in her place! This comic will enable that dream to become reality, giving Tylee a chance to show off her advanced tech while devouring and churning away Dottie's body. Of course, since it's the cyberpunk future, it isn't so easy to liquify Dottie's consciousness, and as it turns out, Dottie might... actually be into this? Maybe she exacted punishment on her subordinate, but Dottie's blush will make Tylee wonder which one of them really ended up being punished at the end of the day -- and of the digestion!
It's a lovely comic that features great elements of adversarial preds, sexual punishment, full-body insertion, anal vore, digestion, and post-digestion teasing... though maybe not in the direction one might expect for that last one! It'll be 3 pages long, and as you can imagine, it won't be cheap to fund. That's why I need your help!

I'll need 3 payments of $95 to $100 each to get this piece off the ground!
