General | Posted 12 years agoI'm still alive.
Come this Thursday, I will have been employed at my new job for a month, which is great. I still don't really have a place to live, but I'm hoping to rectify that shortly by using the tools I have at hand; mainly the internet and my car.
Other than that though, I haven't made any music in about a month, nor have I even so much as touched my guitar in the same amount of time.
It's strange, the misery I had before I came here to Kentucky was really my only source of inspiration, and now that it's mostly gone, I haven't really felt like doing much more than writing things or working on concepts for my 2014 release, etc.
I guess a good analogy would be having an empty spot in a room for 10-odd years and then waking up one day to see that it's been replaced by a slightly different looking empty spot.
I mean, the void is still there, but instead of the void being excruciatingly painful it's just kind of...peaceful.
I don't really know what to make of this.

O Higher Plane

Since I'm moving out within a week or so, I decided to throw this together.
Yes, it's over three and a half hours long, yes, it's a total of 58 tracks, but I will not have a place to live once I leave, so it's going to be very touch and go for an as-yet undetermined amount of time.
Even though almost every track on that bandcamp page is freely available to download in ~320kbps .mp3 on my soundcloud, all purchases are greatly appreciated as I'll probably be living out of my car unless my luck changes.
Thanks for your time.

Soundcloud playlist
General | Posted 12 years agoIf you're interested in taking an auditory trip down memory lane (from early 2008 to present day 2013), I've compiled a "best of" playlist on my soundcloud page.
https://soundcloud.com/slidebite/se...../personal-favs
Before you get too excited, though, be aware that it's 10 minutes short of being three hours long.
It contains 46 separate tracks and the quality / consistency of the tracks will sometimes vary wildly from track to track due to changes in both playing styles and equipment used.
You could technically get a better idea of how much my music has evolved by simply browsing my FA gallery, but the soundcloud compilation is considerably more condensed and contains none of the awful tracks I made when I first made this profile in 2006, so even though it's almost 3 hours long, it's actually saving you a lot of time.
Enjoy, and be sure to type your comment on the soundcloud itself if you feel the need to say anything about specific track(s).
p.s., every single track on the playlist is downloadable, just as they are on FA, the great thing about soundcloud though is that all the tracks I uploaded on that playlist are mostly 256kpbs or 320kbps, and none of them should be under 192kbps if I could avoid it.

Youtube channel
General | Posted 12 years agoI forget how often I've put this here, but sometimes ideas generated by boredom take precedence over silly things like remembering what I've posted a trillion times.

Like my soundcloud, it has a playlist of my tracks that I like the most, also has some videos of myself playing guitar via webcam and videos from as early as 2008. I took the liberty of making all of my unlisted videos public, they mostly consist of rough one-take attempts of songs or just random ditties I've made for people, and since I just made them public, they're probably the first three videos you see in my recent uploads.
All of my other recent videos, much like the songs I post here, are accompanied by a vaguely related piece of artwork from the late Zdzislaw Beksinski, just for the sake of consistency, I guess.
If you like my videos, please subscribe, like, or at the very least, leave a comment. Thanks!
