After six months of near absolute silence, an update. I posted something! Uh... well, don't expect quality. It's still me, after all, but hey. It resembles a slink, it's my first serious crack at graphite as a solo medium (mostly by necessity; It was scribbled with a chewed-on HB and smudgeblended with a wad of napkin), and it marks my return to attempting to draw. It's a start!

So I finally located the scanner and jerry-built a power brick to give it life...

And it lives! Muahaha! More wrecked paper for you boys and girls to feast your eyes on! And even more when I can find the other sheaf of prior works that had been awaiting scannination.

*palmwrings evilly...*

So yeah, more wrecked paper/art. This time around it's just a bunny. A random bunny. Yup. Nothin' overly special. Not much to report in slinkland at the moment beyond perpetual and undying boredom away from home. I should be back home sometime in two weeks or so, though. Pleh.

So, I'm still scannerless, and I've discovered that colored pencil photographs -terribly- with a flash (And my camera focuses like crap without it). The photos tend to come out hideously washed out compared to the original, so yes, my two most recent colored-pencil uploads (Mandelbear and Mamacon's badges) are contrast-corrected as best as I can to the look of their originals. Anyways, not much else to really report right now, but there we go. Two more artpieces. If you can call them art. ;)

Most recent piece 'ere. Drunktastic ink-otta drawn up in the midst of a Buttery Nipple haze. And it has POISPEKTIVE. Still scannerless. Scanner still fucked. Still taking shots of works with a tripod and camera. Plarg.

Also: Not dead, despite my near total absence from Tapestries. Over a thousand miles from home right now, though. Slink, away!

So yeah, another few milestones on my journey from bad to marginally less bad. Today marked the first posting of an actual full-body, in-proportion musteloform, whee. An art study that actually looked decent enough in graphite (The otter sketch in scraps) that I inked and colored it. To those of you who have been braving your eyesight to come here, thanks. :)
