Since I haven't done much art as of late, and now that I am leading the espada furs.

and she is doing well! Healing is pretty fast, comparatively to what I was expecting. Without going into too many details, she still has a long way to go and is in pain, but only on pain meds as needed. It feels nice to be able to sleep right again (I havent gotten a good nights sleep since she left for Canada).

In other news, Scamp's benign cancer has taken over the left side of his body, but the vet says he is in very good health. His tumor removal is going run me $423 and I'm currently looking into cheaper options. Hopefully I will get him in for surgery next week.


Other matters: I am officially closing commissions and trades.

I am even tempted to cancel the ones I have due to not having any real motivation/ drive to get them completed, and having had months to get started. This is why I decided not to take money yet. However, it does mean if I do get to your commission and finish it, you won't owe anything. It will be free.

I may open one here and there, but for now nothing.

Mainely Rat Rescue released the details of the horrible situation they encountered and why they desperately needed the quarantine homes. There are a number of pregnant females and unhealthy rats that were surrendered to the rescue, and money is needed to help fund their medication and care.

Proposition 8, for those who don't know, was a decision by the state of California (USA) to outlaw gay marriages. However, it came into practice only a few short months after gay marriages were allowed by law. Essentially a legal "syke" for LGBT Californians.

Now it is being challenged again in court as an unfair injustice to LGBT individuals.

Here is hoping this time things will come out differently.
