Selling art and taking commissions
General | Posted 9 years agoHi everyone, with the addition of a Great Dane puppy, and a desire to add a few more really nice things to my life to make it better, such as a horse of my own, and a more advanced drawing tablet, I badly need to scare up some money to make it happen. With that being said, I am making some artwork to sell, and I am opening up for commissions.
Currently, I have five 4x6, and four 8x10 shaded graphite sketches, and am planning on creating several more.
The 4x6s are currently at $20 apiece and the 8x10s are $75, I am also planning on doing some 18x24s which will be about $100 each.
For commission info, you can go to the link I have listed below, and I will be adding links to the other pieces for sale as I put them up.

Great Dane Puppy
General | Posted 10 years agoGreetings everyone, I have some big news, in a few weeks, I will be adding a Great Dane puppy to my family.
He will be sold to me under limited AKC registration while he grows and develops. It is a fawn male, and the name of the kennel must come first in how it's ordered, then I can put anything I want. I know the final decision is up to me, but I wanted to do a little poll to get some outside opinions to see what works best. Below is a list of names that I am deciding on that would start with "Asbury" (that's the kennel name).
1. Sir Jacob Tristain de Valois
2. Sir Jacob Christian de Valois
3. Sir Jacob Tristain von Hohenzollern
4. Sir Jacob Tristain von Wittlesbach
Jacob - Biblical/Old Testament
Tristain - Arthurian, Knight of the Round Table
Valois - French ruling family (1328 - 1589)
Hohenzollern - Prussian ruling family (1701 - 1918)
Wittelsbach - Bavarian ruling family (1180 -1918)

Digital coloring
General | Posted 10 years agoI have a couple questions for those of you who color your line art digitally, I've started experimenting with coloring in Photoshop, how can I get a quality result with that program? If I can't, what is a good program to use for a good price?

General | Posted 14 years agoFor each of the first 17 people answering this journal I will put his/her avatar and the 3 submissions I like most from his/her gallery on the list.
Note: If you answer, you'll have to do the same in your journal, putting me on the first place, completing the list with 17 other people. The idea of this is not to get a free feature, it is to spread art around for everyone.
Please link to the journal you have made, and I will put you on the featured list

Episode ideas.
General | Posted 14 years agoHey guys, I'm checking in to see what suggestions or ideas you might have for future film projects. I've done tornadoes, in my mind I'd like to do episodes on Horses, American firearms, Civil War Reenacting, Mythical beasts, Volcanoes and earthquakes, the wonders of water, the US Military, and creating characters. If any of you have any suggestions, please let me know.
Porn and adult material is not accepted.
Thank you very much.
P.S. Here's the second trailer if you are interested.

Wild World of Fensterer
General | Posted 14 years agoThis is the first trailer for a film that I shot while on the Great Plains chasing storms last month, featuring a large wedge tornado north of Canton, Oklahoma. The second trailer will come in the next couple of weeks.
Enjoy, and let me know what you think.

General | Posted 14 years agoFor those that live in the US plains states, be aware, there is severe weather with strong tornadoes likely for the next few days. I was touring when we came across a brief but strong funnel-shaped tornado west of Ada. There's still plenty of strong moisture in the air so storms could fire up in the morning. Our guides say that Monday has a similar set up to May 3, 1999. So the possiblity for strong tornadoes exists. Do not take warnings lightly, as soon as the sirens go off, take shelter immediately.

Remember the Alamo
General | Posted 15 years agoToday, I ask that we pause to remember 250 men from across the United States, Texas, Mexico and Europe including Davy Crockett and Jim Bowie who stood defiantly against the overwhelming forces of Santa Ana in the mission know as the Alamo. Today we mark the Alamo's fall and the massacre of it's heroic defenders.
Remember the Alamo!

Beware the FCC!
General | Posted 15 years agoBe aware, the Federal Communications Commission has approved plans to take control of the internet despite the courts telling them "no". Don't be fooled, this is just another attempt to regulate free speech. This is no joke, sites like this could be targeted. Keep vigilant, and we will be free.

Days to Remember
General | Posted 15 years agoEven though this is somewhat belated, we must stop and remember the events whose anniversaries came this week, both had powerful consequences. Tuesday, we remember the events of December 7, 1941 when Japanese warplanes launched a surprise attack on Pearl Harbor resulting in over 3,000 American casualties and catapulting the US into World War Two, Which six of my relatives fought in. As well as the Thirtieth anniversary of John Lennon's assassination which surprisingly and sadly got the most media attention as Pearl Harbor was a far more important event in terms of it's consequences. Remember Pearl Harbor!
An interesting question
General | Posted 15 years agoHere's something I just thought of for the different characters on this site. I have several questions to get this off my chest.
1. If you could meet any character on this site who would it be?
2. Of all the characters on FA, which five would you want to have at your dinner table?
3. If you could share an intimate moment withany character, who would it be?

General | Posted 15 years agoFor those of you waiting for the next part of my series, I won't be able to upload anything for a while as I will be travelling abroad touring Europe. For those of my watchers who are interested in following my journey, you can friend me on Facebook or follow me on Twitter. I may post some of the highlights when I get back. That's all for now
An opportunity
General | Posted 15 years agoAttention all, I am starting up a new Transformation series featuring my shape-shifter Brian. The first I am working on as we speak, the others will be kind of a choose your own transformation so that gives YOU the opportunity to choose what I do to him next. He can only become a sentient creature, real or mythical, currently existing or extinct. I will not have him become a political figure or other celebrity, living or dead because of the arguments and monsters it brings out of people. Other horses and cartoon characters can be done as well that can include Scooby-Doo or Spirit or any others you like. Anything that has been previously done in this series cannot be done again. I will not do porn. If you have any suggestions, drop me a line or vote on it at the end of each series. See you on the flip side.

General | Posted 15 years agoFor those of you who are wondering, I am opening up for commissions, there are things I will do and things I will not do. for instance, I will do nudes, but not pornography. I can theme it to almost anything, Militay, historical, sci-fi (including Star Trek and Star Wars), patriotic, comedy (basicaly anything from the Three Stooges to Monty Python & SNL), business, casual, school, sports, and just about any other setting you can think of. I can draw humans, animals real or mythological, cartoon characters except anime, celebreties, weapons, and a variety of other things.
My price range is descent and cheap since I'm just starting out.
For just a plain graphite image of a character, the charge is $5, if you want a background, the cost is $10, for a full color piece, it's $15. If you wish to add additional characters, add in $4 for each.
If you wish to do business, drop me a line and we'll work something out.

General | Posted 15 years agoThose of you who have read the first episode of War Chronicles, I ask your opinions on it, whether I should continue the series or not, and what changes you want to see. Questions are always welcome and appreciated. Here's the link for anyone who has not seen it yet. http://www.furaffinity.net/view/3847953/
Good news
General | Posted 15 years agoThe series you all have been waiting for is up! Introducing War Chronicles with Bear Grylls. Click the link to see it. http://www.furaffinity.net/view/3847953/

General | Posted 15 years agoHere is an interesting question for all who have a horse character. I have a new series in the works called, "War Chronicles with Bear Grylls" It will have many of my characters making appearences alongside Bear and the Platoon he is attached to. The storyline is set during a time of a civil war between two factions, the Patriots (the protagonists) and the Loyalists (the antagonists). Bear is sent by the Discovery Networks to actually fall in with Patriot ground forces to get viewers (and Bear) first hand experience with what is going on. I plan on throwing everything I can think of at them, Night time ambush patrols, mortar attacks, booby traps, ambushes, tunnels (one of which Bear gets to be the "rat" and explore), Napalm, and anything else you can imagine. the first half will see the fighing in woodlands and farmlands, the second will see desert and urban warfare. There will be cameos by various celebrities from various shows including Ray Romano, Brad Garrett, Mike Rowe, Adam Savage, maybe Criss Angel, Rick and Corey Harrison and Chumlee from the History Channel show "Pawn Stars", and any others i can think of. There will be plenty of positions to fill, here are the choices:
Rifleman
Radio operator
Sniper
Machine gunner
Support-Gunner
Grenadier (he carries the squad or platoon's grenade launcher)
Mortar men (Mans the base or camp mortars)
Door gunner
Medic
Nurse
Pyro (these are the guys who carry flame throwers)
Let me know so I can add them in or not.

General | Posted 16 years agoHere's somthing interesting for you all to consider, this is to all members with a horse character or fursona. This is to see what they might look like as what I call an Equisapien, essentially, they are beings that are 80% huma and 20% equine. Their features and professions can be anything. Either you can do it, or you can ask me, it's your choice.
