I've been gone a while, I know. I'll be popping in and out for a while.

Two years ago I had a stroke, followed by some other health issues that seemed to come out of the blue and sit on me hard.

I have had to re-learn to type and draw and lots of other things. It's not fun, let me tell you.

I hope to be more active in the near future as I try out who I am now, and what my art is like now on all of you!

Joe Walsh said it all in that one line. There are ups and downs, like being unemployed in today's market, and before that working in a very conservative office that kinda preculuded me working on a lot of art that I would have liked to have been working on. As always, I have tons of ideas, so there may be some new art up here over the next few weeks. :)

So, yeah, life has been busy, non-stop, for a year.

My son survived the MRSA and has a clean bill of health. he was so far ahead of his physical therapist that she gave up. he was back into martial arts training six weeks after his release from the hospital! :)

My daughter is getting married in the conventional sense next week, and the wedding is only about half prepared. This is going to be fun, let me tell you. Had I the funds, i would have hired a wedding planner and had done with it!

Art is coming along very slowly. I will post new material as soon as I can, though don't hold your breath. *sigh*

Does any here, who happens to read this, do any work with Adoptables? I fell into them on PonyIsland, and have been looking for them on other sites ever since.

August was spent with my youngest cub in the hospital - for the whole month - with an MRSA. September say my house wrecked a bit by Hurricane Ike. October has be desperately trying to catch up, adn since I'm not eligible for a loan to fix the house, doing my damdest to find ways to get it done.

Anyone know a sympathetic roofer or foundation company?

I've started taking photos and putting them up on Zazzle.com to try to raise a bit of money for the house, and to further the knowledge of those who go view them about animals in general.

How I would dearly love to be here more often. I'm so busy out in the "real world" that I rarely have time to be here. And then the home PC crashed. And then the car broke with some mysterious electrical issue. It never ends, this cycle of entropy. And so I work, and wokr, and work, and occasionally catch a break and here I am. :)

At least part of what I term "work" allows me to draw! And to share with everyone here! ;)

I'm posting this around for some friends. I've already sent ina couple of art submissions,a nd I guarantee it's legit.

There's an old publication trying to make a comeback in the 'zine circles. "Furry Fantasies" is once again open to submissions of art, stories, poetry and so forth.

All work must be erotic in nature, but no worse than hard R to X. No XXX, please. Everyone has different definitions fo those ratings, so the final choices will be made by a small committee.

The publication is limited in scope, and those who's work is chosen to be included will be paid by a contributor's copy only. This is a shoestring operation, at present.

Additional copies will be available online. Publication outlets such as CafePress are being investigated for the final output.

Anyone interested in submitting material should shoot an email to furryfantasies[at]gmail.com and request more information. Better yet, send a submission!
