I am sorry I've been gone so long. You deserve an explanation.
My last journal was meant to be a hopeful message for everyone, but in a way I was secretly hoping it would serve as a "goodbye" of sorts, if you get what I mean. However, my "goodbye" never came and I'm still kicking. It has been a very hard time, for a long time. I shut off the world and most social media contact for about a year, which was the wrong way to deal with things.
I should never have just left everyone hanging, and there is no excuse for that! I don't ask for forgiveness or pity, but you are owed an explanation and some kind of closure.
I am doing better now, at least better enough to update this and log back in.
To keep my mental health up, I am no longer doing commissions or trades. I have deleted old art I don't like anymore, and have moved older commissions and trades to my scraps so they are still visible, just not prominent. I don't know if I will return here or not.
I will check my messages for the next day or two, but after that I might not respond.
However, I ask if anyone who sees this is struggling with mental health issues, please please hang on and keep going. Help is out there, although it might be hard to find.

Posted 5 years agoHello, friends. A bunch of work just got dumped on me so I won't be on here every day for a little, but in the meantime I have some thoughts to share with you.
A lot of things in this world suck really, really bad right now. But please don't stop going! You might need to retreat and rest to recover. That's okay. Let yourself regenerate so you can fight another day. Don't let things harden your heart or take away your kindness, even though it gets so hard. Continue pursuing your hobbies, or love, or even faith. Everything will turn out fine eventually.

Hey all, your favorite lazy pink antelope is back.
After a long hiatus, I want to get back to work on improving my art.
Since I'm in a tough spot as well, why not do commissions too?
So I'm opening up commissions to anyone who wants one. I'll draw almost anything (within reason) and you can name your own price too (within reason)!
I hope you've all been well. Let's make 2021 a good year this time.
