...or at least, not specifically due to the current "drama".

I'm AM moving because I'm tired of using a website that is so poorly and unprofessionally managed that its name is practically a punchline to a joke. If FA didn't have such a massive userbase embedded in it, it'd just be another mediocre art site lacking any modern features. I won't say any more because I'd prefer to not see this account get banned or whatever. I'm leaving it up, but don't expect to see any new submissions. If anything, as the weeks go by I'll probably be clearing most of my submissions out. I'm still going to be on here to track certain artists, but that's about it.

And as a brief note on the current matter, I hate using the word "drama" at all. What's happening is extremely serious, and brushing it off is childish to say the least. I want to apologize for potentially insulting anyone reading this, but after reading so many ignorant journals regarding the matter, I'm more than a bit angered at how far people will go to ignore legitimate problems that need to be addressed.

I must have suited at FurFright for upwards of ten hours total. It was such a blast wandering around the con space! On Friday I couldn't walk more than a few feet before someone would stop me to take a photo or compliment the suit. I might need to add a new con to my list, because I'm going to die waiting for AC to come so I can suit again.

FurFright itself was pretty lame, but IMO it has been in a decline since 2012. Not sure if it was the dorsai being supreme jerks last year, or the extreme staleness of the con's events, but it felt really dead compared to previous years. But eh, I can do FF for under $200 total so I might as well keep going as long as my friends are as well.

Did you know that I have NEVER cleared any of my submission notifications since I registered on FA back in 2008? Do you have any idea how many submissions had piled up in that time? 42,000. Forty-two thousand. I remember when it broke 1k, and I thought "whelp, that's that then. Never gonna clear those out."

And then finally my OCD kicked in this week. In 5 days, I've somehow gone through ALL OF THEM and cut it down to about 450 that I actually wanna favorite. And now I'm gonna sit here and +fav them all. You may ask, "Why not just nuke them and be done with it?" Because I have serious obsessive issues, my friend.

Also, ffffuck there are a lot of weird things in this fandom. I had like an entire page of hyper taur impreg with internals, and I dragged myself through it, just like I did with the dozens of multi-dick characters (wouldn't that hurt like hell jesus christ the anatomy) and random gore pics. On a related note, I also unwatched a bunch of artists. Just not my thing at all.

...Just so, y'know, if you're wondering why I suddenly decided to +fav like 450 things, that's why.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, there's a few artists that really stood out to me:  hoot,  ritts,  cookiehana,  22mg, and  grau. If you're not watching any of them, I highly suggest checking out their galleries.

I put "September" in the title of the journal so that when October rolls around, I'll feel guilty and make a new one. That's the plan, at least.

So uh, yeah, I'm trying to be more talkative and actually comment on others' journals and stuff. I've even hopped on a few livestreams, which always was kinda scary because I'm terribly shy when it comes to things like that. I just suck at being outgoing, which is annoying because I'm pretty much an extrovert trapped behind a wall of shy/nervousness and silly social fears. BUT I THINK I'M GETTING BETTER MAYBE.

Also I keep commissioning porn, but hey, porn is awesome and I have a real job so I can do whatever I want with my money.

Also also somehow I have over 100 watchers. WEIRD.

So hey, look at that, I finally did something with this account. I decided that I wanted to remove all my personal art, just to sorta separate that stuff from the inevitable torrent of horrible porn that is going to flood my gallery now. I've got my new character sheet thanks to my awesome roommate and my equally awesome wife. Oh yeah, I'm married now too. Shit, I'm in my late 20s. Fuck.

I'll try to post stuff a bit more frequently than I was before... so like, at least twice a year. Maybe three times. Maybe.

So, as all of you (read: the two of you that posted in my last journal) decided, I've started to post stuff from my DA here on FA. As of now I'm caught up to my DA time-wise; there'll be no new submissions until I make new stuff, which hopefully could be tonight... I need to try and be productive on my model this week before my usual weekend shifts at the restaurant.

I haven't uploaded all of my DA stuff here, as I don't see a need to have two galleries with the same stuff. I've put up a few choice pieces from the DA to date, and as I generate new art, I'll post what I find to be really worth adding here... i.e. my better works. I tend to post a lot of renders and doodles to DA, and sometimes its not totally necessary to do so. I still feel odd uploading non-furry content to FA, so I want to make sure that what I do add here is among my better work in general.

I want to say a quick thanks to those who were commenting, watching and fav'ing as I was uploading stuff. I swear, every time I put up a new thing here, there were new messages to check. Its really nice knowing people like what I make! Maybe one day that will actually help me, y'know, get a real damn job and validate my expensive college degree. Just maybe.

So, uh, I figured it was time I made a journal here or something.

I was recently-ish chatting with my friend Cliff, and he had said that I really should post some of my art on FA. Thing is, I don't do furry stuff... I don't even draw, really. My focus in college was architecture, but I also studied 3d modeling, which is my primary focus now. I've got a DA where I post 3d renders and whatnot, and I already have a link to it in my info blurb on my FA page here, but I suppose that if people wanted me to, I could cross-post some of that stuff here as well. Again, none of it is furry, and I feel a tad weird posting non-furry stuff on this site.
