Closing commissions for a bit
General | Posted 8 years agoLast month was pretty rough on me and this month has only just continued the trend. I don't want to get too personal about things, but it involves more sad events...
Fortunately, I just finished the paid commissions I had on my list. Unfortunately, I'm gonna have cancel the commission requests that were in waiting. I had a feeling things weren't going to go so well this month so I'm glad I didn't take on any extra work.
I'll be contacting the people that sent commission requests when I can, but if you're one of 'em and you're reading this right now, I'm sorry I won't be able to take your commission like I said I would.
Not sure how long I'll have commissions closed, but I don't expect to be able to work on any large projects for a while. Might do some small things for friends or myself, but the stress of paid work is not something I need to add to my plate right now.
I'm gonna give myself a few weeks, maybe a month break from commission stuff. Might still stream and draw in that time, but I just need to focus some time for myself and personal projects to help relieve the stress of things lately. When I open commissions again I might be adding more stuff, like telegram sticker sets perhaps.
Anyway, it's 3am and my thoughts aren't all together so I'm kinda rambling, but I hope everyone had an alright easter weekend. I was hoping to draw something for it, but... stuff happened and my wrist has been all bleh and yeah. I might still draw something for it even tho it's late or just draw a bunch of egg stuff for the rest of the month maybe, i dunno.

General | Posted 9 years agoThe past few months for me have been... phew, they've been trying. Nothing bad has happened, but I've been very tired and stressed.
The holidays took a lot out of me, I was pretty much busy from the last two weeks of November until the end of December and right after New Years I got a horrible cold that knocked me off my ass for a couple weeks. Not to mention all this cold weather.
I whine about my wrist a lot, but it's very relevant that I keep the status of my wrist up to date since, like, it's an important thing that I draw with. Anyway, my right wrist and hand has quite a few issues including low blood flow and muscle weakness. Most days I'm alright and can work through a little bit of strain, but in the winter the cold weather is terrible on my poor hand and ruins me ability to draw at any kind of moderate pace. Some days I can't do anything at all. This is why I've had commissions closed all winter.
Hoping and waiting for the weather to warm up at least a little, I'm going to be spending some time working on adjusting my commission prices and figuring out better ways to keep everything organized and simple for myself and commissioners. I'm considering using a free site making platform, like weebly, to make a standard price sheet. I'm also going to attempt to start scheduling more regular times to stream (though my wrist issues will make it difficult to always keep to it.)
Anyway, blah blah, babble babble. Commission price changes, public price sheet, more streams. All coming soon.

Commissions Closed!
General | Posted 9 years agoI have a couple things I'm currently working on finishing, but as of now my commissions are completely closed and they will continue to be closed for the next couple weeks.
I will be busy with family arrangements through the end of November and I will be out of state without a work computer for a week at the end of the month.
Whether or not I will open commissions again during December is uncertain at this point. I may leave commissions closed until the holiday season ends, but I may take art trades during that time instead. I'll announce my plans when I return from my week away at the beginning of December.

I'm gonna be so lazy today. Maybe draw some smut of my frog guy.
Just gonna be real chill and get some good vibes goin'.
There were plans to go out and celebrate, but those were moved to the weekend. So I get a quiet, relaxed birthday for now~
Heck, I might even stream today if I feel like it. Birthday stream where I doodle whatever silly things I come up with.

October Monster Commissions!
General | Posted 9 years agoThe month of Halloween and monsters, two of my favorite things. In spirit of the season, I've decided to attempt some themed commissions involving monstrous changes.
Essentially these commissions will be somewhat like your common adoptable. The difference, however, is these creatures will be based off of characters or sonas provided to me as reference.
See this entry as an example of what I mean.
Each design will belong to the person that commissions them and can be altered slightly as the owner pleases. They could be kept as alternative forms to the base character or turned into new characters entirely.
These commissions will run on a queue system. Everyone interested will be put into a list in order of first come first serve. I will only request payment from three people at a time as I work through the queue so patience may be needed.
I will also attempt to stream all of the monster design commissions so be on the look out for stream announcements.
