the reason for this is that Lulu got a new job
Lulu handles the page for the most part so that's why we've been absent
Aswell as some person stuff with Rugel that has also delayed art production
nothing to worry about, just need to have time to settle down as things are very chaotic from a scheduling point of view is all

personal buissness has come up a lot recently, draining our energy a tad too much
the unfortunate pandemic
aswell as our internet being essentially non existant (we are writing this at a friends house)

so with that in mind
we are going to take a hiatus for awhile

we will be back at some point, promise, once things have settled down a bit

It's christmas time or at least its when we celebrate it
and its high time we start a little christmas tradition here on Snacks Jounral

We were hoping to do this earlier in December but circumstances prevented us from doing so this year
so next year we will do this much earlier and will hopefully get the prizes out on the 25th

so we want to try something a little different for the following comics coming up
We want to hold a poll and let you guys determine what you want to see next
A few things first:

1.This will simply be determine the order in which these comics come out highest being first, lowest last

2.Simply comment which one you would want to see first, 1, 2, or 3

3.If there are no votes the order below will be the order

4.The desprictions shows, the charactersfeatured , the subject matter, and an approximate page count

With that lets get started:

alright we'll leave this up here for about 2 weeks and see what happens.just a fun little experiment

just to clarify because I feel I worded it poorly

The current comic, entry 3, will continue as normal with Snacks' mouse design however all subseqent art and comcis from this point forward will have Snack in his new updated design
Talias design however will not change, behind the scenes 2 was a companion piece to the first to better explain the reasoning behind my decisions
later on I will might do more behind the scenes if I feel like it

ok so now that journal entry 3 is about... 60%? done?
our question for you is would you prefer full colour or black and white comics in future?
the obvious take away being that doing black and white means pages get done more quickly
while colour will take the usual amount of time of about a month to complete give or take a week
or would you prefer both? uploading black and white first and then full colour when ever we have time?


and don't worry entry 3 will still be full colour
but which would you prefer?

We may or may not be able
to upload tomorrow
and if that is the case we'll triple upload on friday to make up for that
but heres hoping

regarding the upload speed of comics
would you prefer 2 uploads per week?
or would you rather all pages uploaded at once?
of coarse uploading all at once would mean longer waits between uploads

has been planned out fully and will mostly likely begin uploading at the end of the month

for we have moved it was a long journey and without internet
we should have said we were to be on hiatus but it somehow slipped our minds
so we have returned albiet it with a poor internet connection

Im opening gifts/art trades for people who want them
as of late i find myself without inspiration while i work on the first chapter of SnacksJournal though I am still working on it

if you are interested in a gift/art trade then by all means note me with the title :GIFT or :ART TRADE depending on which you want

The rules for gifts/art trades is as follows:

1.The piece can be whatever you want it to be, sfw or nsfw (no gore or scat)
(example: I want a picture involving watersports!)

2.Please provide references for desired characters
(example: URL links)

3.Please be detailed in your description of what you want unless you want me to think of something myself
(example: locations, colour, text/speech)

4.these are gifts therefore i will choose which get done first and how fast they get done,I will generally operate on a first come first serve basis unless your gift is complicated in which case it will take longer(sorry)
(a coloured full body would take less time than 2 fullbody black and white)

5.Comics will be limited to one page if a comic is desired,(comics take longer than regular pictures)

6..do not feel oblidged to an art trade if you do not want one

7.If you wish to cancel/change want you want please do so in at least 24 hours,changing what you want pushes you back in the complition order

8.The status of Gifts/art trades being open will be displayed on this journal, if you message me during a closed time period I will say no, but I will send you a note if/when they are open again if you want me to do so

Im thinking of doing comic pages
short stories about the characters and thier exploits here on Snacks_Journal
and I was wondering if there was any particular way I could upload pages to your preferences

specifically should I submit pages as I finish them
or wait till all pages are completed then submit them as a group
or even on a schedule(one a day for example)
the last two methods would of coarse mean that the gap between chapters would be longer

again I would really appreciate your input into this matter thank you

sorry i havent posted anything in awhile i have been helping friends and family with halloween costumes, props and such but i promise ill get back into the swing of things soon
in the meantime though i was maybe thinking about doing some requests maybe what do you think would you be interested in that? let me know id love hear your thoughts
