DnD Artist Search!
General | Posted 6 years agoHey, guys!
I'm putting out some feelers to see if I can find someone that'd be willing to do some artwork for a DnD group! There are 7 characters, and we're flexible on what we're looking for - headshots, busts, half bodies, whatever is easiest/more appealing for the artist.
The characters are mostly humanoid, but there is one Dragonborn, so we'd need someone comfortable with scales for her! We don't have reference pieces since it's a new group, so someone comfortable with written descriptions would be perfect. I can encourage them to find some reference material to pull inspiration from unless you prefer more creative license!
Please send me a note here if you're interested, or know someone that would be! I'll have to send sample work to the person piloting the commission and get back with you. ♥

Please don't feel obligated to use this feature. Or any tipping avenue.
I appreciate having readers that enjoy my work. My writing is not yet my primary source of income, so for now, I can just focus on my love for what I do without any panic or weight behind it.
If you do decide to tip, it will be used towards payments on my surgery loan!
Please note: I've disabled my feed as well as comments. I want to ensure that, should someone want to commission me, we use the appropriate channels to secure buyer/seller protection. If I find that more people would prefer to see these turned on, I'll adjust accordingly and see how it goes!Hi again! I'm alive!
General | Posted 6 years agoHey guys! I'm so sorry for the radio silence lately.
April was a really awful month for me. I started experiencing some aggressive jaw pain around the 11th - couldn't sleep, couldn't sit still, felt miserable. I had to track down a dentist that would see me immediately, would agree to help me considering I am uninsured for dental, and would accept my mom's Care Credit as payment since I have no savings and tend to live paycheck to paycheck.
I finally found a place to go after my boyfriend made several calls around town. I was shown that I had a failed root canal, the molar beside that one needed a root canal, and both wisdom teeth on the bottom were sideways and pressing in on my other teeth. The dentist insisted that I needed the two erupted molars removed at the very least (since I elected not to try any more root canals because having those fail seems common in my family), but he referred me to a surgeon because the roots of the back molar were dangerously close to the roots of the wisdom tooth on the top. That involved some wait time where I continued to try and manage terrible, deep, aching pain. I made it in for my consultation, and they said that removing the bad molars likely wouldn't be enough; the sideways wisdom tooth in the lower right region was the main culprit for my suffering in their opinion. Since the bottom two wisdoms were both sideways, and they would have likely needed to remove the wisdom tooth that rested close to my molar, I decided to approve all four being removed for a total of six teeth. All of this news was being delivered to someone with a severe dental phobia, too. It was not a fun time!
Unfortunately, all four wisdom teeth were something called complete or full bony impacted. Which means they never even came through the bone to try and erupt. There was absolutely no room for any of them, so they stayed below. I required an invasive surgery, had to be put to sleep, and ended up with nearly two weeks of recovery after my procedure.
I'm feeling better now! No more deep, unmanageable pain. No more tweaked nerve were tooth roots had grown out to the side. No more taking fistfuls of ibuprofen to try and get myself through the day. I finished my (third) round of antibiotics a couple of days ago. I'm relieved to have the worst of it behind me. I have some lingering discomfort and I still worry about the possibility of infection returning or developing again because it was so invasive, but for the most part, I'm close to being functional again.
I have a commission lined up, so keep an eye out for some activity from me! I just wanted to explain because I really appreciate you guys, and I want to be honest with you! I hope you can forgive these lengthy periods of inactivity while I sort through my body's shortcomings. ♥

January Update
General | Posted 7 years agoHey everyone!
I really, truly appreciate the new watchers that've followed me since I posted my first piece of writing!
For transparency's sake, I did want to let you all know that I have a day job and chronic illness that have been stifling me for a couple of months now. I promise there will be more to read as soon as possible.
There's another piece I've got to finish soon, and you all will see it the moment it's ready.
I'm fuckin' thrilled that people are interested in my work. I've got a long way to go and a lot of things to work through, but your support helps more than you know.
Happy reading, folks.
Payment Information - Important Notes

"I decided to make this journal because there are a few things I need to clarify with my clients, which is not only important for me but to other users. First of all, as a lot of you know Paypal isn't necessarily furry friendly and a lot of furs have been banned from using their services if they find out they are furry related. This is because they assume that any furry related transaction is porn and they do not allow sales for pornography. Paypal usually links this to the notes attached to the transactions that say keywords like "Furry, porn, any links to FA, nudes" etc
Not only that, but now that paypal has introduced the attached shipping address to every transactions, some accounts are being banned for not "shipping items" because they do not attach a tracking number to their transactions. With every transaction there is a box you can click that says "No shipping needed" if you do not click that box it will automatically send your shipping information. Not only is this, kind of sketchy but you are giving out personal information that isn't necessary."
Per Aimi's post, it's a good idea to make sure you select "no address needed" when making a purchase that has no physical copy. You can put your username as the note to make it simple and clean for your artist, too.For Commissions of Synth
General | Posted 10 years agoRefs: Ref Sheet -- Ref Image (( There are no set consistencies with her markings/coat color so long as she looks like an Aussie! c: ))
Name: Synth
Species: Australian Shepherd x Snow Leopard
S/O: Heterosexual
Height: 5'1"
Weight: 135
Hair: Messy bun or a high ponytail with side bangs
Body Type: Short & stocky, but not overweight - has some bulk to her build
Pawpads, Tongue: Pink - main/central pads are shaped like Mickey heads on her feetpaws
Likes: Disney, Pokemon, blue orchids, video games, leash & collar
Dislikes: Tornadoes, loud noise, enclosed spaces, children, insects
Personality: Reserved and quiet until she is entirely comfortable with her company, then she opens up, jokes a lot, and tries to encourage enjoyable times. She feels emotions very strongly, and if said emotions are negative, her knee-jerk reaction is to get angry (if she gets scared it makes her mad, if she's sad she gets upset either with herself or the source of her sorrow, etc.). She laughs easily, and is quick to attach to others and their feelings, being an empath. The moods and attitudes around her can heavily influence how she acts.
Outfits:
* she never wears anything on her feetpaws, and I prefer her to be drawn digitigrade
- Here -- Disney tank and black shorts
- Here -- Slouchy sweaters and black slacks
- Tiered skirts and strapless tops
- Cardigan, cami, and jeans
- Arcanine beanies! Scarves!
