Hello Again!
Posted 2 years agoIt's been a normal two years. Don't mind that. That's a perfectly normal amount of time to stare nervously at the unknown (the unknown, in this case, being the very polite folks that you are, whom I have no reason to fear). If there's any real purpose to this post, it's just to pretend there is, hypothetically, some kind of pressure for me to actually do some dusting on this thing. Maybe I doodle a character. Maybe I'll do a little writing. Who knows. But I can at least hold myself accountable, because I've declared that I shall do a thing soon (much less than two years soon), and sometimes that's the push we need!
The other-other reason I even externalize this kind of thinking out here is because I'd like to think there might be someone out there in a similar boat to me. Staring. Thinking. Maybe a little nervous. And sure, I'm a little itty bitty inconspicuous creature in this big ole site, but I can pretend. To them, I say: take your time. Hang around at the edge, maybe. But don't shy away. I want to thank the kind people who have received me either well or have simply regarded my existence as normal and I'm getting more comfy now because of you.
If this gets read by someone who knows who I am, perhaps in a few years' time, uhhhh, uhhhhhh... I can explain. (I can't explain.) (But also no regrets.)
