Posted 4 years agoFor the last month I've had significantly more free time than usually (vacations, online courses...) and I've spent almost all af that time drawing. Not to say that I didn't like it. It has always been something very relaxing for me and seeing the finished picture gives me a sense of accomplishmet (not to mention all the faves and nice comments). However at the same time all my other hobbies suffer. I've almost stopped playing on my saxophone, have only read one or two books, almost all movies or series I've watched were rewatches or something with easy to follow plotlines for playing on the second screen when drawing. And lastly, I wish I had more time for personal art...
And I'm not even mentioning study time, very important in my proffession.
This is the pattern that has been very visible for quite some time in my life. Don't get me wrong, I'm not burned out, far from it. Even now when I'm writing this journal I feel like grabbing a pencil or my drawing tablet. I just figured I need to balance my time better...
I'm closing my commission queue today. I'm gonna finish it of course, but then I'm gonna take a little break from commissions.
When I open again, I'm gonna raise my prices (I think I've improved enough to do that) and maybe change my system. Instead of keeping an open queue indefinitely, I'm thinking of opening 2-3 slots every month or so. I'd like some feedback on this. What system do you guys think is better?

About my commissions [OUTDATED INFO]
Posted 5 years agoHey there! I wanna try a new system. Tbh, it has been kinda going on unofficially for some time. It goes as follows:
- Instead of opening commissions every now and then, I will just keep them open INDEFINITELY, add new commissions to my queue and work through the queue in my own pace.
- The queue is UPDATED after I finish each drawing, so you'll be able to see and estimate how long untill I start working on your drawing.
- I will do some PERSONAL ART between slots, so that can mean longer waiting time. I'm sorry, but hey, I'm a human too
- It may be possible in the future that I'll raise my PRICES. I'll try to do that when I have no comms left in my queue but it may not be possible so - see next point
- You can RESIGN and withdraw your commission without any consequences at any time UNTIL I start working on your commission. When the time comes, I'll contact you.

- cuteness

- adult foals in cute and innocent settings
- kinky diaper stuff... to some extent :x
- regression
7. I WON'T draw:
- NSFW stuff ( though sometimes I may offer such commissions in the form of YCH auctions)

Okay, so the winners are getting a free fully shaded commission with simple/transparent background with a single character of their choosing.
There will be TWO winners: one furry and one pony pic.
