This past week has been really rough.
I hate being home I'm not gonna lie, being away from Nikki is so hard, not knowing for how long makes it even harder.
But I'm getting better, I couldn't eat for a while but I had a full dinner last night and a full breakfast this morning.
I've applied for about 7 jobs now, one of which I am really hopeful for and have a good shot at getting.
Full time work at the local wildlife park, seeing as I have already done work with animals / in the tourism industry AND the girl that trained me at the Doe now works at the park my chances are high, not to mention I wrote a kick ass cover letter.
I applied for my old job back, I don't really want it but it would be good money so either way.

Today I am going to go around the local CDB and do a resume drop to local shops, see if I can get in on any simple work like a checkout girl or retailer in the meantime while I wait to hear back from the wildlife park.

Then I have my physio appointment

Then I want to head out around Rotorua to take some shots of local attractions for my portfolio

last of all I want to see if I can track down one of my friends to be my spotter and take me fursuituing, in an effort to cheer myself up.

Sounds like a plan.

In other news, I'm thinking about doing iron artist once my drive to actually draw something comes back.

Ok so as you guys probably know I'm home now.
I miss Nikki SO MUCH and I want to see her again ASAP.

I fell in love with her so much more during my stay, and I know now without a doubt that she is my soul mate and I want to share my life with her and go on amazing adventures with her right by my side.


I know it might sound sappy, but I want her for Christmas, I really want to have her visit me in December during her school break.
I know money is tight for many people right now, and I am trying my best to find a new job but my reason for writing this journal is to ask for the help of my lovely watchers here on FA

Bleh.
I'm going home today.
It's been wonderful being with my baby girl these last couple of months.
I DON'T WANT TO GO HOME
but I have to. It's just something I gotta do.

So for the next week I'm going to be out looking for jobs and catching up with my family and friends.

But for now, the adventure starts again.



Next time I visit Nikki, I won't be leaving again.

OK SO HERE'S THE DEAL

Sadly I fly back home from visiting this Saturday and when I get home I plan on going out to find jobs. I have an Interview already ;D

But the last I checked when I left New Zealand back in june my car was pretty much empty of fuel.

So I'd like to take some commissions so I can buy some more gas so I can drive my car to job interviews and to town to hand out my CV to potential areas of work.

NOW READ THIS PART
I know some of you may be thinking " oh fuel isn't that much" but believe me in NZ it is. When I left it was 2.15 New Zealand Dollars a litre, now I've done some maths and worked it out that if you guys payed the same as we did for our fuel it would cost you 7.50 US dollars for a gallon

I have a wacom bamboo pen and touch

The red light comes on when I press my pen to the tablet.
The cursor will not move, the buttons are unresponsive.

Anyone know how to fix this, It has had a drop over the last few weeks but it was working perfectly the last time I used it ( after the drop )
