אני כותב בעברית אחר כך אנסה לתרגם לאנגלית,
אז ישראל נכנסה למלחמה עם ארגון טרור השולט בעזה. יום שבת עדיין אני יושן בשש בבוקר שומע בומים ואני מתעורר למציאות של אזעקות, והשבת הכי ארוכה שהיה לי.
במהלך היום נכנסו שחטו התשלטו וטבחו עזתיים באזרחים ישראלים, השתלטו על קיבוצים ישראלים, הרגו אנסו חטפו ילדים נשים וזקנים.
במהלך הבוקר גם נורו טילים ארוכים אשר נאלצנו לשהות במרחב מוגן. ההורים שלי היו בדאגה אח שלי נעדר, היה במסיבה לקרוב לגבול.
נאספו שמועות שלצערי הם נכונות, הקיפו גם במסיבה שאח שלי היה וטבחו בהם, אח שלי ביחד עם בני דודיי התחבאו ביער והצליחו להתחמק.
עד לשעה 13:00 הוא הצליח להשיג אותינו בטלפון לאחר שהלכה לו הסוללה בטלפון, בזמן שאימי ודודתי היו מודאגות לבנים לגורלם.

Until 13:00 he managed to reach us on the phone after his phone battery died, while my mother and my aunt were worried about the boys.
There were many falls, there were terrible stories on television. I did not remember such a big attack, with 700 dead in less than 24 hours and 2000 injured, and many dozens of abductees, including a 4-year-old boy, and an 85-year-old woman, including children, women with their babies, and old men.
Happily, everyone in my family was saved, but there are those whose fate did not improve. Many of those who gathered at the party were killed and kidnapped.
