Back from hiatus
General | Posted 11 years agoI've been writing my bachelor thesis the past months, so it got pretty quite art-wise, which I'm sorry about but that had priority :)
Yesterday I finally sent all my files to the print shop, so basically I'm done now. Only the oral exam left but that one will be end of March.
So here is my to-do list as reminder for myself.

Writing this journal is not easy and nothing I am especially looking forward to but I want it to be ME or rather US who tells the story before some creative minds make it sound fancier with spreading rumours about why and what.
Me and Djem have been a couple for almost 5 years now and it was the best time of my life. We met each other when we were both 19 and since then helped each other and discovered growing adult together. We had a lot of plans and hopes of how our life will look like when we finish our studies. We were planning to move together, learn each others language, have a flat we can share everyday life in. Just the normal cheesy things you wish for when you are young and realize your hearts beat as one. Also it was the first real long-term relationship for both of us.
However. Life doesn't always go as planned. It got clearer the past year and now we reached the point where we realized what we didn’t want to see for a long time.
Djem finished his studies and has a house in France and a job he really loves, his dream job. He won't move anywhere in the next few years.
I am finishing my studies in a few months. It's absolutely unrealistic that I move to France. I don't speak French, even though I tried hard to learn it. I won't be able to even work there, not to speak of signing any contracts, finding friends or anything alike. Anything that would make me feel safe to risk this big step.
As sad as it is - even though we still have feelings for each other, there is no scenario in which we would have a future together. In which we can share those simple things other couples share. And we must realize that the long distance is taking its toll.
We will try to stay friends, there is nothing speaking against it. We didn't argue. It is a decision we mutually took.
We both know how to handle this break up in a mature way so none of our friends needs to be afraid of having to take sides.

I'm Snowi (aka Snow-wolf) and also would have liked to use this as my name here but sadly some guy who is inactive for about two years already took it :( so im afraid i have to use the same name here as I use over there at DeviantArt, maybe that's not that bad though.. it's at least constantly with the 601 (which is my Birthday by the way XD because a lot of people tend to ask me what this strange number behind my name means)
I never wanted to register to FurAffinity because i never thought i was good enough and wanted to wait until i have a certain style i can call "my" style... the thing is, i still dont consider myself as good enough but since Eurofurence i realized that there were so many REALLY good artists that i didnt knew just because i avoided FA so.. uhm.. let's go!

Im some random dude who likes carnivores (especially wolves) and also drawing them (obviously). I also like rainbows, summer, computer stuff (and the internet!) and yaoi, therefore im a fan of anime and manga. My Homecountry is Germany, I live near Cologne.
My Fursona is a white male wolf who's (almost annoyingly) happy and funny most of the time :D
Ma favorite series are Dr. House, Scrubs and Queer as folk.
