Its not launched yet, I don't plan to for a couple weeks at least but I did make one and working on it. Still figuring out exactly what I wanna do and what each tier should get, making sure its worth the money their paying. So far its mostly a glorified tip jar, but I do plan on posting all my art there before anywhere else. Patrons will get to see new art a week before everyone else, as well as Patreon exclusive art which will mostly consist of art I usually trash and never see's the light of day. I also plan on giving them first dibs on future adoptable and commissions with a possible discount with higher tiers I'm also thinking of letting them help choose what kinda adopts I make like themes and species but we'll see. In higher tiers I'll probably do give aways or requests(basically free art), This can either be in the form of a design or art made of an already existing oc but we'll se I dont't wanna burnout but I won't do too many or have that tier unlimited anyway.
If not obvious I really wanna do more adoptables and designs in general, they also help take the pressure off of me only doing custom commissions so I'm going to be focusing on designs more than I have been so look forward to more designs by me more regularly ^^

Its probably not gonna happen right away but I also really want to get into merch eventually by starting out as Patron rewards, at first I'm mostly gonna focus on stickers as that's what I'm most interested in, eventually prints and maybe branching out to charms or even pins but we'll see as I'm less interested in making those myself.

I'm excited but nervous, being a small artist I probably won't even get my first Patron for a bit bt I've been debating making a Patreon for 2 years or so I'm just excited about finally doing it and hoping its helps my art move forward. My main goal atm is just to get enough to cover rent(in my future place) which will already help relieve so much stress from day to day life but that won't happen for a long while. Just to update you all that I got into a fight with my dad and his girlfriend last night cause they got a new kitten recently and they didn't like how I was handling introducing theirs to mine slowly and minimizing the chance of fights. Basically literally what every pet behavior expert will tell you but because its coming from me and I accidently mention "I read online" they got pissy with my dad claiming my cat as his despite me paying for everything for her the last few years now xux
Anyway in the argument they really said "Do you wanna live here" and with how much we've been getting into fights and how his gf really don't like my "rebellious attitude" we feel we were low key threatened to be kicked out. Idk if they will or not but home is becoming way more toxic, everyone becoming more conservative and racist, I feel like I can't talk about anything least out loud and we're walking on eggshells. Don't want to look at someone wrong and get called to a "family meeting" because I'm not "smiling enough" or something, or get in trouble for using something we were just told we could use whenever a few days ago. My bf and I are getting sick and tired and just wanna move, but much sooner than we planned. We planned on waiting longer, home was more chill when he initially moved up but now its gotten worse. We've been looking at places for rent for months and have places we wanna try including a decent studio apartment opening in August. Only problem being is that my bf is laid off right and his registration expire so he can't drive, the DMV is by appointment only and the earliest we got is in June and with covid he doesn't wanna take public transit nor do we even know anyone in the area he can ride with for work. so that only gives us a couple months to save for the studio so I'm gonna be trying to push more adopts and art out and try to make a decent amount before August. Tbh I'm not even that confident we can get a place by the end of this year we're younger 20s and make very little and have little to no credit score xux.
I'm so stressed out now

Umm TLDR cause I ranted a bit..
Our home is becoming increasingly toxic the last straw being the wellbeing of my cat being threatened so my bf and I wanna move out asap which is much sooner than originally planned. My bf isnt working right now due to his car needing updated registration and we can't go to the DMV till June. There's a decent place we're interested in opening in August so I wanna get as much saved asap so I can finally have some peace.
Expect lots of sale posts in the future, hopefully I wont get too burned out xux
May look into starting a Patreon but I don't know about that tbh, they seem to be going downhill but monthly pay sounds real nice.

Okay I think I’m mostly caught up, probably upload some things later that I might have forgotten.

As I said in the last journal I will be trying to update my FA more often to spread out past Twitter. I’ll still post to Twitter first but I will try to post back here within a couple days. That includes commission openings and adopt sales!
I’m gonna look into google forms to make taking commissions easier, and so I won’t be bombarded by comments and DMs on opening days X3 I’ll also be reworking my prices and what I offer for commission, prices will most likely be going up and I won’t be offering “flats/colored” commission anymore but may do more sketches or have simple/cellshade type options. I already been charging $30 for icons and no longer offer “colored” ones, so this will be changed in the commissions tab soon.

I’ve grown sick of my iPad and can’t work on my painted style with Procreates brush engine at all so I ordered a new Huion tablet hopefully coming this weekend. Will be my first Huion brand tablet and (non ipad)screen tablet, a KAMVAS pro 16 with a nice 15 inch screen larger than my ipad, I’m very excited! This was a bit of an impulse purchase out of frustration so when I’m use to it I’m gonna be opening up for comms again to make up for the sudden purchase!
I haven’t really taken on a lot of commissions for almost a year but hopefully once I’m back in my comfort zone of CSP and have a larger screen to work with I’ll be ready to at least take on some icons ^^

like the title says, with pride month coming to a close I just want to inform you that I am more than happy drawing pride themes all year just like I'm more than happy doing Halloween themes all year!
I feel its important to show we are proud of who we are and how the fight for equality is still not over! I'm not gonna lie though, its also just really fun drawing pride themes and I love seeing all the flags! Especially more obscure ones!

But like it or not I will not draw certain flags as in fake ones like zoo or pedo flags, thats not a sexuality.
Neither will I draw straight and cis flags as they dont need pride if your cishet get the rainbow/gay flag, flag of a loved one, or an ally flag to show your support for us! ^^ If your only cis or only het get the flag of your marginalized gender, romanticism, or sexuality.

Aces and aros are LGBT+ which means I will also do their flags!

So yeah, I've been rolling in pain since Sunday and ended up going to the ER for the pain Wednesday where I was diagnosed with kidney stones. Given some meds to help pass them naturally as well as ease the pain, and they are making me so tired and I'm trying to chill so I don't have any major pain spikes.
Our house is also still very cold as gas is still off and I've been too weak to make myself a bath so feel gross to boot.

So sorry for being so slow with things lately and not really uploading much I'm just being hit with things left and right this month with this, and family pet dying, among other things I am tired x.x

My bf came over to my place to spend the week of Halloween with me and after that I came to his place to spend the whole month with him.....and I ended up getting super sick the first half of last week ^^''
So yeah I've been kinda busy, feeling much better and will be working again but I'm still gonna be busy the rest of the month spending time with him and meeting the rest of his family. I'll be very slow but dw comms will get done just at a much slower rate as I'm kinda just chillin this month.

Its gotten cold and looks to be staying cold and we have no heat in my house other than a couple small heaters while trying to keep electric cost low. I don't wanna go into details on the "why's" of it being off or anything just updating that I'll be a little slow with art AND communication apparently.
