Wanna draw some folks in Kinkquisition gear.
Posted 2 months agoHello friends and frenemies,
I find myself overtaken by the mood to draw more Order of the Bell art. And since the Kinkquisitors are supposed to be a diverse bunch featuring people of all genders, species and body types, I thought I'd extend the offer to draw some of you wearing their uniform. Let's call it an Order of the Bell recruitment drive, since those lusty Illustra won't fight themselves!
Of course I can't make any promises, but if you'd be interested in getting some free art of your character in Kinkquisitor garb, please leave a reference image in the comments and I will be considering them.
Here are some examples of their unisex uniform:
https://www.furaffinity.net/view/53047705/
https://www.furaffinity.net/view/59383682/
Just keep in mind that there are some pulpy pseudo-religious themes involved in this world and all the Kinkquisitors are implied to be wearing chastity gear while in uniform. Also their weapons are all modelled after sex toys or BDSM gear, so they might end up looking more than a bit suggestive. Please only sign up your character if you are okay with them being portrayed in that context.
I'm looking to roughly draw about 2-4 characters in this run.
Either way, have a nice weekend free from disturbing and arrousing Illustra-encounters!

Sometimes, AAA-Gamers confuse me...
Posted 2 months agoBesides art, gaming is probably my largest hobby. I spend a lot of time playing a large variety of different games, though I generally tend to not be interested in big budget AAA games these days. However, that doesn't mean I never play those, and if an interesting one comes along, I'll still consider getting it. And as a long time fan of the Monster Hunter series, I treated myself to Monster Hunter Wilds on PC when it released in late February.
At this point I played through most of the relevant content and have since moved on to different games, and overall I have to say, very good game. I certainly had a few issues, the graphics took a bit of fiddling (about 10 minutes total) before the game would run smoothly on my mid-power PC. I had to use low settings, but I don't really consider that an issue since the game still looks amazing on those, and graphical fidelity barely matters so long as the art direction and atmosphere are good. After that bit of fiddling though, the game ran quite well. In the end, I was a bit disappointed in the overall lack of challenge and end-game content, but I had already gotten 60 hours of mostly very good entertainment out of the game. And even for 70€, I still consider that a fair deal overall.
So yeah, overall definitely not my favourite outing of the series, some valid criticisms too be had, but I still feel like it was very much worth both my time and money. So I personally closed the book on it and went on to the next game that caught my attention.
Now, I really need to stop this bad habit, but sometimes I tend to consume the media content that algorithms select for me. In this case a youtube-video on "The humiliating collapse of Monster Hunter Wilds". Apparently, the general gaming community is extremely livid at the game at the moment, for mostly the same reasons that I previously criticized the game for. Problems with the optimization and a lack of end game content. And yeah, I think those are fair criticisms, but what I don't get is the level of expectations and vitriol that was on display here.
Yeah, I also want my games to run well, but do they have to run well on the highest graphics settings? Especially if the lower settings still look stunning?
Yeah, I also wanted a longer game, but are 60 h of high-quality entertainment not quite a good offering in their own right?
Yeah, I also wanted something of a more challenging game, but perhaps this one wasn't meant for just the veterans and tried to be more open for new audiences as well. Does every new game in an established franchise need to cater specifically to just the older players?
Sometimes I feel like some people in the AAA-gaming sphere have forgotten that it's okay if a game was "good enough" or "fine for what it is". Maybe this is me being used to lower budget games, but especially when it comes to graphics, it seems to me like nothing beyond perfection even clears the bar of "acceptable" anymore. And it's a shame, because I feel that by focusing on some manageable flaws, we really are missing the full picture. So many tiny and often overlooked parts are going into making a game, sound design, animation quality, environmental interactions, many of which have reached such a state of excellency within AAA games that excellency is being taken for granted in everything. And that leads to any imperfection being seen as a fatal flaw.
Unless the publishers are being actively deceitful, you have the option to look at the game on offer, get some outside opinions and make your purchasing decisions based on that. It's why I generally don't play many AAA games, I feel like most of them aren't worth my time and/or money. I prefer playing a larger variety of smaller games. So I feel like if you buy a game despite having the option to learn about it's flaws beforehand, knowing the price and there aren't any decetful business practices going on... then I think the ownace for that is kind of on you. Nobody owes you a perfect game, all they owe you is honesty about what they are offering at what price. And if you are buying on launch before any reasonably well researched reviews are out, that should always be considered a calculated gamble.
Let art be "okay". Let art be "fine for what it is". Let art be "good enough". Major kudos to any piece of art that goes above and beyond and achieves excellency, but don't let that be your baseline expectation. Doing so is maybe just a little bit... entitled?
Thanks to all who read this far. Just really needed to get that off my chest today. Imma go play some Monster Hunter Rise now.

Signal boost for my american watchers
Posted 3 months agoHey folks,
I usually don't like to talk about politics publically, especially not american politics since I feel it's not really my place as a european to do that. So I'll keep this short and hope it stays the rare exception.
I wanted to signal boost a journal by TheTiedTigress, talking about the proposed anti-porn laws currently threatening our community and so much more beyond that. I think they have a much better insight on the details of this than I do, so I urge you to read their journal and if you are american, take action and contact your representatives about this.
https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/11140572/
On a personal note, even though my place of residence (germany) isn't currently considering these kinds of measures (yet), my own art would very likely be very affected by this. Most sizeable art sites are based in america, and even if they aren't they still have to consider international laws when determining what sort of content they choose is permissable on their sites. I might have to step away from making NSFW content entirely if I want to keep publishing my work online. Of course, that's still very mild when compared to how this would affect so many other people, but I'd rather not even have to consider doing that in the first place.
Thanks for reading! Be safe and take care!

Other places I post art
Posted 4 months agoHello everyone!
I feel like I talked about this in the past, but it's been a while. And with uploads on here being disabled for the time being, I felt like I'd mention again where else you can find me.
BlueSky: https://bsky.app/profile/snowleandre.bsky.social
Inkbunny: https://inkbunny.net/SnowLeandre
I use BlueSky quite a bit to post some of the one-off, self-contained pictures I make, and sometimes for the more experimental stuff that I feel like doesn't quite meet my own quality standards I want to maintain here on FA. Also I sometimes post random thoughts or art ideas that crossed my mind that day. I think the feed-based format the site uses is pretty fun and suitable for more loose and off-the-cuff posts, but terrible for any sort of art that requires a modicum of context. Therefore I usually don't post my comics or anything that doesn't work as a standalone on that site.
Inkbunny for me is more of a backup that I am still working on uploading some of my older art onto. Pretty much everything I have on there is also here on my FA page, so it's more just a way to stay in touch if FA should become unavailable for a time. I am not very active on it, but I do like the sites functionalities quite a lot, so I'd like to do more with it in the future.
So yeah, FA is still and will likely always be my main site, but I constantly need to remind myself that having copies of my stuff around is a lot safer in the long run. So if you want to check out any of those, you are more than welcome to follow me on there too.
Also, some of my art has made it's way onto e621 with my permission. I personally don't use the site or upload to it, but several kind people have done the "paperwork" of it for me, so that's another place where you can find some of my pictures. Reuploads like that fall under the Creative Commons license I use for most of my work, and therefore I am 100% cool with it.
So yeah, that's all for now. Have a nice day, everyone!

Looking for some Mermay input
Posted 4 months agoHello everyone!
Mermay is upon us once more, and as always, I was caught by surprise and I am unprepared.
I don't usually go for seasonal, communal or meme-based art incentives. But Mermay is one of my exceptions to that, since I already really like mermaids, so it's more of a convenient excuse to do something I already kind of want to do.
So far, I've already done Leandre role-playing as a mermaid-statue, Ollie with some latex mermaid-gear and this nameless cyborg-mermaid otter. So for this year, I would love to hear from all of you which of my character(s) you would like to see get the mermaid treatment. I can't make any promises whom I'll go with or if I'll pick the most popular option in the end. I'd just like to hear some suggestions on whom you'd be interested in seeing.
Also, as you might be able to tell from the examples above, I usually like to put a bit of a loose spin on the whole mermaid concept. A simple "character X as a mermaid" is all fine and cool, but I like to get a bit more creative with it and throw at least one more kink or idea into the mix. So if you have any ideas or suggestions in that regard, I would love to hear them as well.
Thank you all in advance and a merry Mermay to you all!

April 1st Patch Notes
Posted 5 months agoHello everyone!
Today on April the 1st, we are excited to announce some upcoming changes to the galleries balance and policies. So without further ado:
---General changes---
-We at the Leandre-corporation have decided to take a decisive stance against any uses of Generative Artificial Intelligence, unless the results are very useful and/or kinda funny. From now on, all of our art will be created exclusively through the use of Degenerative Natural Stupidity.
-The Creative Commons license we use for most of our art had it's rarity upgraded to Uncommon.
-Due to inflation, our monthly Pizza payments to the Nine Hells have been increased from "3 large pepperoni" to "4 extra large bones and mystery meat". To compensate, we ask all of our canine readers to donate their spare bones.
-To optimize data usage and file sizes, all future uploads will be processed with state of the art AI-downscaling technology.
---Character specific changes---
Leandre Snow:
-Due to the ongoing climate crisis, Leandre Snow will be renamed to Leandre Slush.
-Leandre's species will retroactively be changed to "Viridian Bunnyfox"
-In recognition of her 9,5 years on the internet, Leandre will be awarded with a Doctor titile. Possibly.
Ollie Flip:
-Fixed a bug where due to a floating point misallignment, Ollies IQ was 10 times lower than intended.
Merla Bell:
-List of possible pet names Merla can use has been expanded from 37 entires to 49 entries.
Damien Lerouge:
-Due to leading bat-authorities changing their mind on the placement of bat-wings, Damiens wings will be placed on his back instead of his arms moving forward.
Valentia Brakis:
-Husky drama value has been increased by 20%
-Additional noise and profanity filters have been installed
Eva Lavette:
-Sexual orientation has been changed from "Questioning" to "It's complicated..."
Callie Brey:
-Additional facial expressions have been installed.
Melony Bigs:
-Equipped golden boots with rubber padding to decrease risk of slipping.
Bestie Baguette:
-Reminders have been set to make more frequent use of this character.
Inkwolf:
-Added a hyperfixation for sheep.
-Removed a bug where characters mood wouldn't stop decreasing if 9-tailed foxes were present in the same room.
---Known Issues and Glitches---
Petra's Petrification Park:
-Due to a vastly delayed millenium bug, all statue performers currently performing at the park have erroneously had 100 years added onto the remaining duration of their stay.
Otherside:
-Due to failing to meet the OSHA mandated number of emergency fire escape mirrors, Otherside will be closed until necessary changes can be made. All ghosts are required to vacate the dimension within 3 days.
-Ollie still has his tattoo on the wrong arm on just a single page.
The Casual Monsterfucker:
-Issue 3 has been delayed indefinitely for lack of really cool ideas.
I hope you are just as excited as we are about the upcoming changes and updates! Stay tuned for more in the future!
Yours truly,
Leandre Slush

Might be less active for a while.
Posted 6 months agoHello everyone,
first off, sorry for the lack of comic updates recently. I just wanted to give a quick heads-up that I might be slowing down with posting art for a while longer.
I don't want to go into too much detail, but the situation at work is currently quite dire. For the past few weeks, I've been witness to displays of corporate incompetence that would be called way over the top if they appeared in a Saturday Morning Cartoon, and it's causing a lot of rushed, disorganized, pointless restructuring. I don't want anyone to worry about me, I've got plenty of backup plans for both best and worst case scenarios, so I'll be fine in the end. It's just causing me a lot of unnecessary stress and I need to prioritize taking care of myself for a while. I'll be back to more regular uploads once things have settled into a new normal for me.
I hope everyone else is doing well though. If you are, please share something nice that has happened to you recently. I think everyone could use a few more positive vibes at the moment.

Reminder, I do not do commissions.
Posted 8 months agoHello everyone!
Since I've been asked a couple of times if I am open for commissions recently, I thought it might be a bit easier for everyone if I made another public post about my stance on this.
Sorry everyone, but I currently do not take commissions, and I currently don't plan to do so in the future.
I am very flattered by everyone who asks, so thank you to anyone who has shown an interest in the past. If you are mostly interested in my characters or ideas, I publish all of my own, original stuff under Creative Commons (Attribution + non-commercial uses). If any of my original content inspires you, you have my enthusiastic permission to use any of it for your own creative persuits, be that making your own art or commissioning someone else for it (I'd just ask you to be mindful if works of mine that contain other people's properties or characters too since they might not share my blanket-permission policies for their stuff). If this is something that interests you but you're unsure about the specifics, always feel free to ask.
That's the main gyst of what I meant to say. But in case you are interested, let me try and explain why I don't like doing commissions.
Money and finances are topics that always make me anxious when I have to deal with them. Not because I've ever had to deal with many problems in those regards, I've always been fortunate and privileged enough to make ends meet without too much trouble, but because the potential for these topics to cause massive problems in your life is just so vast. It is also a topic that I am really dispassionate about and having to deal with it makes me irritated at best. Money isn't a thing that makes me happy, it's something that I need a certain amount of so real life will not create problems for me to deal with. My current dayjob covers that comfortably and leaves enough room for some nice little indulgences here and now. Don't get me wrong, more money is... "nice", but it's certainly not a strong motivator for me while I have my basic needs covered.
On the contrary, whenever money is involved, there are certain expectations being created (rightfully so). If I get paid, I provide a service which customers expect a certain degree of quality from. Most people in this space are very nice and reasonable about those, but they still exist in my head and create anxiety for me. That is a personal problem of mine, I am simply wired to be a bit of a worrywart. Drawing for someone else might be the same task on a mechanical level, but the mere presence of expectations and obligations is something that really ruins the fun for me. This is not me saying commissioners are being unreasonable or mean, I am well aware that the vast majority aren't.
I don't like to show it much, but I am actually a rather anxious and easily afraid person who easily gets overwhelmed by (perceived) expectations. Creating art is something that has massively and still is helping me in dealing with that, and is, I believe, the main reason for why those tendencies are largely under control for me. The fact that it creates times and spaces largely devoid of real life problems and worries is a huge part of why I gravitate so much towards this hobby. But money and finances are real life worries. Bringing them into this space partially destroys what makes it so important and appealing to me in the first place.
I very much admire artists who have what it takes to make this their living. Those who have the entrepreneurial sense to run this as a business without it losing it's appeal to them. But I am simply not that kind of person. For me, business and hobbies don't mix. I can't bring them together without the hobby losing what made it fun for me in the first place. I hope that makes sense to you all.
Thank you all for reading, and I hope you have a great day!
Since I've been asked a couple of times if I am open for commissions recently, I thought it might be a bit easier for everyone if I made another public post about my stance on this.

Drawing ability "restored"
Posted 10 months agoHello again!
As a follow-up to my last journal about my tablet pen breaking, I finally got the replacemnts today! They weren't lying when they said delivery would take 2 weeks.
Unfortunately in my haste, it seems like I managed to order some cheap knock-offs instead, which totally explains their price. One of the two that I got pretty much arrived broken and barely registers at all with my tablet. The other one seems okay, but just kind of feels cheap. It seems to be working okay for now, but I don't really trust it. For the time being, I can draw again, but I also ordered yet another one to be safe. This time an original Samsung one. For almost triple the price.
This is mostly my fault for not paying proper attention, but it's still a bit disappointing. Anyways, being able to draw again at all outweighs all of that for me.
Unfortunately that means I also got behind on the next Otherside pages as well, so unfortunately there won't be one tomorrow. I'll work to get back on track of it as soon as I can, but it might be until next weekend or so.
Hope y'all are doing well though and are enjoying your weekend!

So I broke my tablet pen...
Posted 11 months agoLet this be a reminder to anyone who relies on a specific piece of gear or equipment for their work or hobby to always keep a small supply of critical replacement parts...
So yeah, while drawing some doggy-boobs this friday night, unfortunately the pen nib on of my drawing tablets pen broke off. For those who don't use drawing tablets, the pens on them come with replaceable plastic tips, since they become dull and worn down over time. They are really cheap and replacing them every couple of weeks is a normal part of maintenance for these tablets. Unfortunately, the tip on mine broke off in an awkward way, and now half of it is lodged so deep inside the pen that I can't easily get it out anymore.
Luckily, a completely new pen is about 10 bucks, so I'm not exactly breaking the bank for this repair. If I had been a smart and/or cautious person, I would've kept 1 or 2 of those just in case. Unfortunately, I oftentimes am neither, and since the tablet I am using is an older model that isn't exactly common anymore, the replacement might take anywhere from 2 days to 3 weeks to arrive. And since I completely rely on that specific pen to be functional for drawing... looks like I won't be doing that for a little while.
Luckily today's Otherside page was already done before my pen broke, so I could at least upload that today.
But yeah, blame on me for this one. It's a tool I use nearly every day, something breaking after 3-4 years of intense use is not a quality issue, that's completely reasonable. And for someone as involved in this hobby as I am, I really should've had a backup pen at hand. So maybe take it as a gentle reminder to double check if you are on top of maintenance of your tools, and/or you have a replacement for critical parts at hand in case something gets broken or lost.

A letter to Nintendo
Posted 11 months agoToday, I contacted Nintendo about their treatment of other game developers in the industry, and I think this should be an open letter as I am announcing a personal boycott of their products to them and I want a public record of that so I can be held accountable to that. Whenever criticizing someone, please remember to remain polite, sober and stay away from superlatives. While heightened emotions are often understandable, letting them show while making an argument will only make you look like someone who can easily be swayed and brought back around later.
---
"Dear Nintendo,
I have been playing video games for over 20 years of my life now. It is one of my largest hobbies and your consoles and games have always been a big part of that. From the early days of playing Super Nintendo games at my relatives house to one day getting my very own GameCube all the way to the present where I greatly enjoy playing on the Switch, you have always provided me with great products that have made my life a lot more varied and fun. The Fire Emblem games have been some of my favourites ever since their release here in the West, Pokemon has been a great inspiration for me for many many years and I have always enjoyed a great new Legend of Zelda game. Even to this day, I still defend the Wii U whenever it comes up in conversations with my friends, because I genuinely believe it was a very good console. Therefore it is with great sadness that the recent decisions your company made have led me to decide that I will no longer be supporting you as a customer.
Of course, even with all the highs, there are always lows as well. I understand that and of course with a large company like yours, it is inevitable that I am not always going to agree with all of your decisions. Like when you attempted to control what youtubers were allowed to say about your products, or your ongoing attempts to ban fan-games made for non-profit by your most passionate fans. Even those decisions, while I strongly disagreed with them, were things I could ultimately look past and continue on. But your recent lawsuit against Pocketpair Inc. is an overreach that I am no longer willing to accept.
Your company has filed a patent on some incredibly generic game mechanics specifically for the purpose to gain some legal justification to fight your competition. Worse, those patents were filed after the release of Palworld, the game you are currently suing. Even worse, there was no attempt from you to communicate and mediate the issues with Pocketpair beforehand. No reaching out, no warnings, no attempts at all to even seek a conversation with the development team. And worse yet again, you did not even leave it at a cease and desist letter. You decided to sue for damages right away.
I can not read these actions as anything else than a targeted attempt to destroy your competition through unfair, and frankly, cowardly means. Furthermore, your actions have shown me that you do not care for innovation in the gaming industry unless it is done and owned exclusively by you. These are the actions of a company who would rather intimidate and bully the competition rather than beating them by making a better product. Actions like these will stifle innovation in the gaming industry and make this hobby worse for both customers and developers. This lawsuit is not about defending your rights or property, or otherwise you would not have needed to file a patent for creature capturing mechanics as recently as May 2024. These are the actions of a company that is willing to use underhanded tactics in order to protect their empire.
I am an individual that greatly values creativity and peoples rights to express it freely. As such, I can no longer support a company that seeks to use their position of power to suppress smaller creators. I love your products and your games, but I can no longer in good conscience justify supporting a company that acts this hostile towards other people.
I am fully aware that losing a single customer is merely a drop in the bucket for a company the size of yours, but I hope this illustrates to you that at least parts of your customer-base have a line at which they are no longer willing to look past your actions. I am going through the effort of writing this letter to you in the hope that it will make a small difference in making you reconsider the course you are taking and improving to be better in the future. If this lawsuit is dropped, I will reconsider my stance on this and perhaps I will be able to justify buying Nintendo products again in the future. But as it stands, I can no longer see myself as a paying customer of yours.
Thank you for your consideration, and despite everything I said, I do hope whoever is reading this has a nice day."

As an addendum, I would also like to remind everyone that all of my own characters as well as any art I make that features exclusively my own original creations is available under a Creative Commons license and freely available for your non-profit uses. I love it when people pursue their own creative pursuits and I want to put as little road-blocks as I can between that. If anything I make inspires you, feel free to use it. Ideas are there to be shared, not to be hoarded.

Some Announcements. Visual Novels, Otherside and art site...
Posted a year agoHello everyone,
I have been a bit more quiet than usual lately, which is because I have mostly been working on learning how to make visual novels lately. But at this point, I have a few announcements to make about those and my other art projects.
Progress on Visual Novels:
Over the past year or so, I have been experimenting quite a bit with the Ren'Py engine and the progress of making visual novels myself. Eventually I announced the development of Leandres Space Prison game. During this time, I learned a lot about the process of game development and it's honestly been a rather humbling experience.
There is so much that goes into making even a simple scene happen. From sprite art, background art, writing the dialogue, writing the code that will make the sprites do the things they are supposed to, writing alternate dialogue paths, making sure it all fits into the larger narrative, making sure the actual game mechanics work properly, sound design, music choice... it's honestly gave me a new perspective on the games I enjoy on a daily basis and how much work has to go into every single step of them. Even in a comparatively simple genre like visual novels.
There are parts of that process which I greatly enjoy, mostly drawing the sprite art, messing around with the code and arranging animations into a scene. But other parts, while interesting to dabble in, I unfortunately don't find as engaging, or otherwise so difficult that I can't really work on them with the efficiency I would like.
I have a bad habit of scope creeping my own projects, by which I mean I often end up adding more and more on top of them, oftentimes faster than I can actually finish the work I already started. And it took a small intervention from a trusted friend to make me admit that to myself. So as a result of that, I ended up making the decision to bring said friend and another mutual of ours on board of this project.
So,
Cosmic-Library,
dragonmaster2653 and I will be reworking the premise of Space Prison into a shared story that involves characters from each of us. Le will still be there as one of the main characters, but now she will be joined by OCs from both of my friends. The two of them have much more experience with the written word than I do, so they will be taking over most of the writing of the novel, while I will provide a general story-direction as well as the art for the project.
It is honestly a great relief for me to get some help on this project. It was getting a lot larger than I had originally anticipated and taking over much more of my creative time than I really wanted it to, to the detriment of other things I liked to work on. The story-reworks will take some time, so there likely won't be many news on this project for quite a while. But I want to assure you that we are working on it in the background.
I don't really want to make more promises about the game at this time though, since I feel like I've already overpromised a bit with the things I have shared so far.
However, getting help on the project gives me some air to get back to other things that are long overdue...
Otherside continuing soon:
The break from my usual comics has been long enough, and I've been itching to get back into them. So with the visual novels requiring a little less of my attention and real life having settled enough around the new job and apartment, I finally feel ready to continue where I left off with Otherside.
I will upload a new page this Sunday, and from there on get back into my old, bi-weekly rhythm of uploads. We'll see if this works out in the long run. But for the time being, that is the plan. I am really excited to be making more pages again and continuing the tale of Matty and her unwitting victims. There are plenty of uncaptured intruders left in the mansion after all...
Other places to find me:
Thus far, I have been using FA exclusively, and I fully intend for it to remain my main site for art and comics. However, recent events have shown that having a back up just in case would be a good idea. Therefore, I have started uploading my comics to my Inkbunny page as well to make sure they remain accessible and I have a way to get in touch in case FA is experiencing problems again in the future.
I have also made a Bluesky account. While I don't think the twitter-style of posting is very suitable for art, especially not sequential art like my comics, I wanted to challenge my prejudices against that style of layout and give it a try. The plan is to post more spontaneous and unfiltered thoughts, as well as sketches, WIPs, unfinished ideas, my video game crush of the week, etc. to Bluesky, while FA and IB will remain my more carefully curated galleries where you will see my more elaborate and finished works.
If you want, pay me a visit on those sites as well:

Writing is hard!
Posted a year agoThe more I am trying to get into it myself, the more my respect for all of you writers grows. Drawing is so much easier to me than writing. You don't really need to think about it, you can listen to whatever you want on the side, you can do it without problem while hanging out with friends in a voice call...
For writing, you pretty much have to focus completely on what you are doing and eliminate all distractions. Some ambient music that fits the mood of the scene at best, but songs with vocals are pretty much all out. So are any videos, audiobooks or conversations with friends, you gotta focus on the words you are trying to write instead of listening to someone else. It's one thing to write the dialogue for single comic pages at a time, but writing down full scenes for the visual novels I am working on takes much more time and effort. I am also coming to realise what a big part of the process edits and rewrites are. You don't really get a full picture of the mood and plot structure you are going for until you have already started writing a couple of drafts, and by the time you have made up your mind a good part of those will probably already be in need of overhauls.
I am not complaining at all, I am just coming to realize some of the challenges all of you writers have to handle on a regular basis, and it's giving me some new found appreciation for the craft. Good writing always seems so effortless when you only see the end result, but I am starting to realize that even basic competent writing with no big flourishes takes a lot of effort to get right. And I feel like it's something that often goes unnoticed and gets taken for granted. I am certainly struggling to even commit time to sitting down, eliminating all distractions and just writing a scene for an hour or so. Drawing is so much easier where you can just pull out your tablet and slash your pen at it on a whim, whenever and wherever...
But hey, I am enjoying the challenge of it, and it's really rewarding to see a scene come together in the end.
As a small update, progress on the space prison visual novel is still slow, but steady. I would say I am about 70% done with the art for it. Almost all sprites are done and a good part of the backgrounds is as well. I am somewhat struggling with the writing part as I explained above, since it is a lot harder to get right than I had anticipated, but that is coming along as well. Updates on it will likely be a little slow since I am still hashing out some details about the plot and characters and I don't want to publish info that might get changed later down the line. Another struggle has been finding appropriate music for the scenes. I've been buying pretty much every larger royalty-free music pack from Humble Bundle for the last few weeks, but the kind of music a VN requires is kind of specific. But I have found a couple of great tracks already, so I am sure I'll scrounge together a good ammount eventually.

Some reminiscing about the games I played this year
Posted a year agoHello everyone, the year is almost over, so this is the time to look back and think about the things we really enjoyed throughout the year.
This year was the first one that I spent working a full time job from start to finish, and it's certainly had an effect on how I value and spend my free time. I've fallen off single-player gaming quite a bit, choosing to spend the limited time I have for hobbys either on art projects or playing with friends. Nevertheless, it is still one of my biggest hobbies, and if done right, video games can be beautiful and unique works of art in their own right. So towards the end of the year, I want to share some memories about the ones that I played and enjoyed. And who knows, maybe someone out there will find a new thing they love because of it as well.
On the multiplayer end, the big ones for me were V Rising (older game, but I finally got the hardware to run it properly) and For The King 2 (new release, but we've been big fans of the first one and eagerly awaiting this one). Both great with friends, but less so for solo players.
I also tried my hand at Elden Ring since I've been a fan of souls-like games ever since Salt & Sanctuary. I had quite some fun with it, but eventually found the open world aspect too tiresome to keep playing. Still, a great game and I don't regret my time with it.
On the furry end of things, I played Laika: Aged through Blood, which is absolutely gorgeous in it's music and art direction. Unfortunately I feel like it does lack a bit of polish, and a multitude of minor nuisances eventually made me quit before seeing it through to the end. I would still recommend taking a look, because there is a lot to be loved about this one.
Then there is Age of Wonders 4, sequel to my much beloved Age of Wonders 3. I got a play group for this one going since it allows for asynchronous play, where anyone can simply take their turn whenever they feel like it and games can last several weeks or months. But unfortunately, the net code for that is rather broken, and we routinely end up softlocking our multiplayer games because of it. Amazing game, but that one aspect unfortunately is just really really buggy.
And then the biggest one of them all and a serious contender for one of my favourite games of all time, Cassette Beasts. My closer friends are probably sick of me gushing over this game at this point, but it just hit all the right notes for me and was the exact type of game I've been longing for for years, so please bare with me as I shower some more praise upon it.
On the surface, it is a monster collecting game in the style of Pokemon, but it's also so much more than that. It's an RPG with interesting characters that tells a story about hope and teamwork in the face of hardship, and it never drops it's unapologetically optimistic tone. There's a very interesting theme of 'human creation' going on with the monster designs, where almost all of the monsters are based either on human mythology or human-made products and inventions, ranging from traffic cone-wearing hermit crabs over living gumball vending machines to floating ghostly emo-sheep. The bosses you face are personifications of humankinds own destructive impulses, like the drive to seek bliss in ignorance, or the dangers of blind, unquestioning faith. It also draws from and directly references Shakespeare and arthurian legend (yeah, it's made by a british developer). And all of it looks like a Saturday morning cartoon straight from the 90s.
The music is an absolute joy as well, with the somber "Wherever we are now" singing of feeling lost and homesick while also finding new friends, the somewhat spooky "Like Chimeras" reflecting the confusing yet empowering experience of fusion and temporarily becoming one with your friend (Or so I choose to interpret it), and the energetic and rocking "Shot in the Dark" inspiring you to fight on for the still vague and unclear hope of making it back home some day.
The gameplay is also pretty much everything I've been missing from monster collecting games over the past couple of years (with the exception of maybe Monster Sanctuary. Monster Sanctuary is a very different, yet still amazing kind of monster game). It is a lot more free form and exploration heavy than most games in the genre, allowing you to explore the world at your own pace and whenever you feel ready to take on it's challenges. Main story objectives can be taken on in almost any order you please. The game also does something very interesting with it's elemental type system. While effective attacks will deal a negligible amount of bonus damage, the main draw is the "Chemical Reaction" system, which will apply status effects based on elemental types. Fire attacks will cause plastic monsters to melt and temporarily become poison types, water attacks can increase the conductivity of electric types and causes all of their future attacks to target multiple enemies, and glitter types just get everywhere and turn everything else into glitter too! The game also comes pre-packaged with many adjustable difficulty options, something which is surprisingly still missing from many, many modern monster games, despite it being well known that these games appeal to players of all ages and experience levels.
In conclusion, I am still madly in love with this game and can't stop talking about it. But it is something that genuinely made me happy for many weeks, and I really want to share that with anyone who might find enjoyment in it as well. So I really hope you will give it a look... or maybe even just a listen.
And remember... when you are surprised by an enemy and a fight is inevitable... just take your cassette player, insert the tape, put on your headphones and press Play.

Merry something, my fellow grinches
Posted a year agoHello everyone! Happy holidays to those who are celebrating and just a generally good time to everyone else.
This year too I just want to come out and say, it is okay to feel down or sad or overwhelmed during the holidays as well. It is a time where everyone and everything is trying to tell us that we need to feel happy and gracious and show it to the world, and I know from my own experience that that can make you feel rather guilty if you just can't muster that enthusiasm over the holidays. So for everyone who needs to hear it over the holidays, it is okay to feel negative feelings too, it is okay if you need time for yourself, and it is okay if you feel like you simply can't give it your all all the time.
I've took some time to visit my family again this year. We like to keep festivities short in a small circle these days, and I am pretty happy about that. I love the opportunity to see everyone again and just have some good food, but even with a pretty cool and chill family like mine I'd be lying if I said it wasn't extremely draining despite all that. On top of that, I caught another round of Covid in early December, and I am still dealing with the after-effects of that. Been feeling tired and drained for almost three weeks straight now. I enjoyed my time, but man, am I glad I can finally just lie back for a few days and focus on recovering.
I hope you all are doing better, and if not, I hope you'll at least feel a little less alone with those feelings these holidays.

A little burned out from drawing.
Posted 2 years agoHello everyone!
I just wanted to give you all a quick update on what's going on, since I haven't really been uploading too much over the last few weeks. Truth is, I am currently not finding all that much enjoyment in drawing anymore. Over the years, I've developed quite the routine process that allows me to make more drawings quickly and efficiently, which is a priority when making comics. However, that also makes the process pretty streamlined and samey, and combined with work, it's gotten to a point where I had to admit to myself that I simply need a bit of a break from it.
past experiences have shown me that the best way to break out of a rut (or for me it is at least) is to switch medium and try and expand your skillset with something fresh and new. So for the time being, I plan on switching scope temporarily and try myself at a few different creative ventures. One thing I have been trying for about a week now is making visual novels using Ren'Py. For those who aren't familiar with the term, a visual novel is basically a very rudimentary form of a video game that has been boiled down to only the dialogue scenes. Or coming at it from a different perspective, it's pretty much dialogue-writing with a few visuals and dialogue choices added in. It's been a lot of fun so far, though I am far away from having anything to show on that end yet. I'm not sure if this will be something that I'll be diving deeper on or not, but I would like to focus a bit more on writing in general for the near future.
Thematically, I am also considering expanding my scope for a little while. You might have seen some hints of it in Otherside, but both horror and character drama are themes I would like to experiment some more with. So perhaps I'll try doing something that's a bit more explicitly that rather than being a fetish comedy with a bit of it sprinkled in.
Also, please rest assured that I definitely still plan on returning to Otherside and finishing it. This is just me taking a bit of a break to recharge. I am however considering hiring someone to help out with work on the pages. Unfortunately, I simply don't have as much time to spend on drawing anymore as I used to, and if I could outsource some parts of the work (like inking in the lineart, colouring and maybe speech-bubbles), that could help a lot of keeping the pages coming out at a reasonable pace. That's still more of an idea at this point though.
So yeah, that's kind of what's been going through my head lately. Still doing really well all things considered. And I hope you are too!

Being Asexual as a Kink Artist - Happy Pride Month!
Posted 2 years agoHappy Pride month everyone! I hope you are all enjoying this time of self-reflection, self-discovery and not least of all, celebration.
For this occasion I decided to share a story of my own, since I have been going through a bit of self-discovery myself over the past 1 or 2 years. During that time I came to identify as aromantic-asexual (or aro-ace for short). Before that, I never really knew what to identify as, since I saw it as something of a contradiction. After all, I make kink and fetish art as a hobby, and I really really really like erotica. Or rather... certain kinds of it. How can someone be asexual if they are heavily into that many fetishes?
In actuality, it isn't really a contradiction and I was simply operating on some misconceptions about what asexuality actually means. As I have experienced myself, it is an easily misunderstood term, which in big parts comes from how many different forms it can take and how people experience it in so many different ways. I won't pretend like I have a full grasp of it myself yet, I don't believe anyone really does, but I hope that sharing my own experience with it can shed some light on it and maybe clear up some of the misconceptions I used to hold myself.
So what is asexuality and probably even more important, what is it not?
The most common definition I have seen is “A lack of sexual attraction towards other people”. So that feeling of wanting to take someone you find attractive to bed that you get (or at least I've been told people get), that's what asexuals don't get. And... that's about it. Everything else is technically not a part of asexuality.
Asexuality by itself does NOT say anything about how you feel about looking at images or videos of sex, whether or not you like to fantasize or not, whether or not you find physical stimulation enjoyable or not, how much of a libido you have, whether or not you experience aesthetic attraction to people or not, and so much more. As you can see, this leaves room for so many different configurations and leads to why there are so many very different ace-experiences out there. And I think that is also a big part of why there is so much confusion around the subject. You can enjoy a lot of the things that are associated with sex, but still lack that attraction to other people.
For me personally, things started to make sense when I learned about that circa two years ago. I've always found depictions of plain sex just sort of boring, if not slightly off-putting. Porn with real life human actors is just kind of puzzling and weird in a bad way to me, and when the topic of real life sex ever comes up in conversation my first thought usually is “Well you'd have to clean the bedsheets afterwards, and those take up a whole washing-machine by themselves...”. Many times I experienced friends of mine looking at people that just passed us by and remarking things like “Damn, she was hot, wasn't she?” only to find me completely baffled since I really hadn't been paying attention.
However, what I found makes things more attractive to me is when you introduce a degree of separation from reality into it. Before discovering the wonderful world of the furry fandom, I mostly enjoyed Manga and Anime. The fact that these weren't really humans, they worked slightly differently on both an aesthetic and in-universe mechanics level, made it easier to enjoy for me. Then later introducing furry elements into the mix and making these characters into cute animals on top of that worked even better. Real life sex is kind of weird and a little scary to me, but make it somewhat abstract and things start being more enjoyable.
In that sense, all the kinks ans fetishes also start to make a lot more sense. If you break it down, a kink basically means you experience sexual gratification from something that is not inherently sexual. And well, that just fits like a glove for someone who does not like sex, but still seeks out sexual experiences like the majority of people do. I've once heard it said that asexuals are some of the most kinky people out there because in their minds, sexual experiences aren't coupled with any of the real life logistics, consequences or other concerns of actual sex. It doesn't have to be something that's practical or even possible, which frees their self-exploration from most constraints other people often have to consider. I can't speak for how true that actually is, but I think it helps illustrate a point.
And I think with all of that, I have finally found a label that actually fits with my own experiences (not that labels matter all that much, the only really important thing is that you feel comfortable with who you are, labels are just a useful tool to help communication, not something that defines a person, but that's a whole different tangent). For me, art is all I want and need to satisfy my sexual desires. To clarify, by art I don't just mean the pictures and stories I like to enjoy, it is also the entire implied meta-narrative and community surrounding and connecting those pieces of art. I am not at all interested in any real life explorations of sex or kink, I just want to hear and tell the stories about it. And when it comes to the content of those tales, I do have some rather telling preferences too.
As alluded to earlier, depictions of just plain simple sex do little-to-nothing for me. I always need a surrounding story to enjoy it. At the very least I need to know the characters and what led them to that moment, and what they feel throughout it all. Things are more enjoyable for me if you bring in some fantastical elements as well. Power dynamics are a big one, but just some interesting toys, a rare scenery, magical powers being involved... all of that can make a sex scene so much more interesting to me. Basically, I need the sex to tell a story for me to be interested, and I need to understand the characters emotions throughout.
Another sticking point (heh) for me are bodily fluids. They are sort of an unfortunate reality of the act for me. As I mentioned earlier, my first reaction to them is often “Yeah, we'll have to clean all that up later”. I can deal with whatever amount is needed for lubrication, but anything beyond that is a pretty big turn-off for me. Which I think expresses itself in my love for “clean” or “clinical” materials, like metal, plastic, and of course latex. More synthetic fluids like slime or bottled lubricants are also fine.
This is a very specific hang-up of mine, but I am actually quite turned off by gags that are made of cloth or similar materials. The thought of all the saliva absorbing into them is something that I just can't shake from my mind. Make a gag of rubber though and you have my undivided attention.
Sex toys and machines are themes that I like a lot too. They basically provide a clean shortcut to the physical stimulation aspect of sex without having to involve a partner. You can get really creative with them as well and spin all sorts of fun, out-there situations with them. And as someone who gets easily confused by social interactions, it can be rather freeing to separate that social aspect from the desired stimulation.
And then of course, the emotional experience of the characters is a really big part of what I find sexy about an erotic scene. I think that's part of the reason why I like to draw big expressions on my own characters, I want to clearly see what is going on in their heads and how they feel about the whole scene. Be it positive feelings, negative feelings or a confusing mix of both, they can all make for engaging stories, and at the end of the day, that is what I really enjoy about erotica. Of course, wilfully taking away that vector of expression with something like a gas-mask can be fun too...
Anyways, this is my experience, and one that I wanted to share with you all for pride month. Nothing has really fundamentally changed around my likes or dislikes through me discovering a label that actually fits me, it just gave me cause to self-reflect and understand a few things about myself a little better. If you are still questioning yourself, I hope this has given you a few interesting insights to consider. And no matter what flag you go with this month or any other time of the year, you are all valid!
Happy Pride month to all of you, no matter how you choose to celebrate it!
Yours truly,
The Inkwolf

A few more updates
Posted 2 years agoHello, everyone!
I just have a couple of small things I wanted to say, and I'll just gather them all up in this journal.
First off, I wanna talk about the updates to the comic, or rather lack thereof. I want to assure you that I am still working on it and I am trying to finish the next page this weekend. But the new job simply makes it hard to keep up with my normal bi-weekly schedule at this point. I will be keeping you informed on that front.
Now, as some of you have seen, I have been uploading a lot of Devil's Hand art recently. I originally planned to do that on a separate account to this one, but FAs account creation is still deactivated from the attack last year. I just want to assure you that this is not going to be a replacement to the regular uploads I do, including comics. Those are still going to happen. Most of the Devil's Hand art is art that has already been completed months or even years ago, so it's not taking away from the time I can spend on comics right now. It's pretty quick to write up a quick description for a card and upload it alongside the art, so it's something I can do while working on the regular stuff.
And finally, speaking of Devil's Hand, the game just got a minor update, including a few balance changes and one more card getting it's final artwork implemented. If you want to check out the game, you can find more info and links to it in my previous journal.
Many thanks to everyone who is sticking around despite the continued delays! Y'all are great!

I made a card game about sexy devil furrys.
Posted 2 years agoHello everyone,
for the past 4-5 years, I have been working on a semi-secret project. Long story short, I am a big fan of trading card games like Magic The Gathering, but two things always bummed me out about them. One, they are prohibitively expensive, and two, they don't have pornographic furry artwork in them. So I got to work on rectifying that and I made my own card game, "Devil's Hand". Well, to be totally upfront, it is only about 95% finished and still lacks a few pieces of art and a bit of polish here and there. But my extensive test-play sessions have shown that it is fully playable and ready for a public release.
My biggest inspiration for the game was the 2003 GameCube game "Phantasy Star Online Episode 3: C.A.R.D. Revolution", which had a very unique way of combining deck building and card game elements with a simple miniature battle game. I have never really seen that particular combination of gameplay elements done anywhere else, but I loved it so much that I wanted to use that as the basis for my own game. Devil's Hand comes with 6 pre-built decks of cards to choose from, though you have the option to re-combine any of these cards to build your own custom decks too. Each player controls a devil character and uses their cards to summon their mortal servants to the battlefield, where they can then control them to fight strategic battles against your opponent. Your cards also include spells to turn the tide of battle and equipment to help your servants fight more effectively. First player to kill the opponents devil character wins.
Some of you may remember a range of devil characters that I have been posting in the past in artworks like this. Now I can finally reveal their actual purpose. These are the commander characters you control in the game. They sit down in Hell all day and get pretty bored when they're not being summoned to invade some unfortunate mortal plane or help out with an apocalypse somewhere. So to pass the time, they came up with a way to use all of these mortal souls they have lying around as playing cards to fight each other with. Death is meaningless in the afterlife, so these games can become quite bloody... but I am sure it's okay, these are all evil sinners after all! I've been hoarding artwork for these devils and their servants for the past few years now, and I am pretty excited I can finally start uploading all of it bit by bit now.
So here is how you can play the game:
The game itself is free for anyone to play and modify as they see fit. Right now there are two ways to play:
1. Tabletop Simulator. This is the intended and easier way of playing it. I did all of my simulations and play-testing in Tabletop Simulator and Devil's Hand is available as a free mod for it through the Steam Workshop. The mod itself is free, however, TTS is a commercial program that costs around 20$ on Steam (though it's currently 50% off due to the ongoing winter sale). If this is the route you want to take, you can find Devil's Hand here on the Steam Workshop.
2. Print & Play version. If Tabletop Simulator is not an option for you, you can print out the cards and other game pieces yourself and craft your own physical version of the game. I made a public Google Drive folder with all of the necessary files and instructions (Readme file) on how to do so. You can find it here.
The above Google Drive link also contains some resources and graphics for anyone who wants to make their own custom cards for the game. Making your own homebrew cards and decks for the game is allowed and encouraged.
Last but definitely not least, I should mention that I had a lot of help from some very generous friends in making this game. Not only did they help me test and refine the games rules in many, many play-test sessions, but some of them even went so far as to volunteer drawing some of the card art for me. You will see each artists name credited on the individual cards, but I just want to give everyone who helped during the development of this game a huge thank you! Each and every one of you was such a huge help in managing this workload and keeping me motivated to keep working on this:

Strife3025
ReySilverskin
StickyTarSquid
dragonmaster2653
Cosmic-Library
hoiah2
diceworks10
Rutgerman95

Playis
I hope I didn't forget anyone...
I for one will now start uploading all of the artwork I made for the game bit by bit, as well as ironing out the last few kinks of the game. I really wanted to get this out during the holidays, because I don't know when my next vacation is going to be and when I'll get another chance to do so. So to you all, I hope you have fun playing some card games in Hell, and if you're not interested in the game itself, that you'll at least enjoy the oncoming flood of sexy devil-themed artwork.
Rock on, everybody!

Christmas...
Posted 2 years agoI really don't want to spoil anyones christmas celebrations. If you are having a good time, I am genuinely happy for you and I wish you and yours nothing but the most pleasant of days. Maybe give this a pass for now. But I just need to get a few things off my chest and I hope that maybe I can reach a few people who aren't feeling great during the holidays with this and let them know, you're not alone.
Christmas is always such an emotionally taxing season for me. I know that I am in a very privileged position, having a family that likes to celebrate in a small circle with only the closest of family members, and who are also very understanding of me if I have to isolate myself for a while and take some time for myself. I've never been good at social events. Having people around me is always immensely draining for me. My family knows that and they understand if I need to excuse myself early just to be alone for a bit.
Even knowing that, retreating from the celebrations feels like I am letting them down. Not being outwardly happy and cheerful feels like I am letting people down. Getting all these nice and honestly well-meant messages from friends and family makes me feel guilty, because I don't have the energy to reply with a thoughtful and cheerful message in kind, and being emotionally honest with them would feel like I'd be spoiling their festivities. Getting gifts from people who only mean the best always makes me feel guilty because I didn't have the energy to get everyone something in return. I don't like mandatory gift-giving holidays. I don't want to get any gifts because I am really bad at giving gifts. I keep saying that everytime I am asked about it, but people keep getting me gifts anyways. In the end I just always end up feeling guilty about it.
Christmas is a time where I don't feel I can be honest about my emotions. Sometimes I am happy, sometimes I am sad. I know how to deal with sadness, like most people I have my own ways of dealing with negative emotions. It's not a problem, just a normal part of life. Except that during this time, I don't feel like I am allowed to even admit that I am not feeling well. Normally I just have a deep sigh, retreat with a game that gives me comfort, or start drawing what's on my mind, and afterwards I feel better about everything. But that only works if I feel like I can be with myself for a few hours and just deal with my feelings, and doing that during christmas feels like I am letting everyone around me down.
I know I really can't complain too much. After all, I have a family who knows I sometimes need room to myself and who won't hold it against me. There's no fighting with family members, no "racist uncles", no drama whatsoever. I am well aware a lot of people out there don't even have that sort of luxury during the holidays. I really do appreciate my family and I am genuinely happy to see them again.
I just want to say to everyone else out there who is feeling similarly during the holidays, you're not alone with these conflicting feelings. It's hard to complain about people being nice to you and trying to involve you in what makes them happy. But feeling overwhelmed by it all is absolutely valid, and needing some time to yourselves is too. Feeling like you have to be happy for the sake of others is genuinely draining, and I hope you can find the space to be honest with your own feelings throughout the holidays. I will be here if you just need to stare at the wall with me and let the world pass by for a bit.
To anyone else, I hope you are having a great time and enjoying a couple of great days with your loved ones. Don't let my gloominess keep you from enjoying your own holidays, but please be kind and understanding towards those who find it hard to deal with emotional obligations christmas brings with it.
And to anyone who has sent me well-wishes, I truly do appreciate it, and I am thankful that you thought of me. And please be understanding if I need a few days to muster up the energy to send a reply.
I hope all of you out there are having a good time, one way or another.

Life updates
Posted 3 years agoHello everyone!
It's been about two weeks since I moved house and started my new job and I've been settling in nicely. I am still getting used to a lot of things like living somewhere that is not at least a medium sized city and riding a bike to work, but overall things are going pretty well. I just got my new internet access set up, so I'll be able to be online more often again. Working normal 40 hour weeks is certainly exhausting, but the job is really fun and interesting, and the colleagues are as relaxed and friendly as one could hope for. Overall, things are going really well and I am quite hopeful for the near future.
In terms of art, I am still finding it a little difficult to find the time and focus I need to work on the larger projects like comics at the moment. I am sure I'll find it a lot easier once I have gotten more used to the new circumstances, but for the time being I'll stick to drawing smaller scale things and uploading some older works that I didn't get around to yet.
Hope you all are doing okay too. Looking forward to being online more in the near future again!

Will be around sporadically for a bit
Posted 3 years agoHello everyone!
Next week, I will be moving house as well as starting my new job. It might be a few days before I can get a stable internet connection set up, and I doubt that I will have much time for art while getting settled in and accustomed to the new surroundings. So if you don't see me around too much during the next few weeks, that would be why.
Y'all have a great time and see you soon!

I have joined Pillowfort
Posted 3 years agoHello everyone!
just a quick heads-up to let everyone know that after seeing a few folks join Pillowfort, I have decided to do the same. I have been looking for a secondary site to put my art for a while now, mostly just as a backup in case anything happens to my account here. We'll have to wait and see how Pillowfort develops as it is still a relatively new site, but from what I've seen it looks to have some solid ideas behind it.
I am not sure how active I'll be on there and most of my uploads are probably going to be rather redundant with what I do here, but if you want to follow me on there too, you are of course welcome to. If nothing else it will be a way to stay in contact if for any reason FA becomes inaccessible.

Anyone playing Friends & Dragons?
Posted 3 years agoHello everyone,
I usually don't talk about my gaming habits on here much, but I was just wondering if anyone else is playing Friends & Dragons on mobile? I recently started playing and am having quite a bit of fun with it, but the game really wants you to team up with as many other players as possible, and playing with people who at least have some shared interests is always more fun then teaming up with complete strangers. So I figured I might as well ask around here.
Me and a few friends are running a guild called "KoboldKlub" (because names can't contain spaces), because the dragonborn in that game kind of looked like kobolds to us. So if anyone is playing and still looking for people to play with, you're welcome to join. It's open to anyone. I should of course point out that Friends & Dragons is a Free-to-play gacha-style game, so appropriate caution about the business model is advised. But I think it's one that still offers a good experience for free players, otherwise I wouldn't be recommending it.
And that's all. I'll try not to make journals like this a habit :)

Back home for now!
Posted 3 years agoHello everyone! I have returned from my travels in time for spooky month!
Everything went really well. I am now fully graduated and done with university for good. Not only that, the job interview I went to also went really well. I'll be starting my new job in November.
That leaves me with a much needed break of all of October. All I really need to take care of is finding a new apartment and getting settled there. So finally some time to dedicate to all the art I still desperately want to make!
I am really happy to have some breathing room for now, and I am also looking forward to finally having a real job soon. But for now, I'll be enjoying the company of fellow furverts and enjoying all the wonderful Halloween art that's bound to start rolling in!
