2024, Furnal, and Updates
Posted a year agoHahaaaaa oh my gosh, I just completely forgot to make one of these for like a year.
First and foremost - I'm going to Furnal Equinox again this year! I plan to take it easy at the con, do a bit of shopping, bit of dancing - I'm very excited! And I'm determined to get more hugs from fur suiters!! >:I I'm still so shy, I don't wanna bother anyone!
Okay, taking a look at my journal from early 2023...
🐾 social media presence overhaul. I kind of succeeded? I think the important point is that I'm All In on this furry thing and I'm really happy in terms of identity and sense of belonging. Whoo!
🐾 work/life balance achieved? I'm on a tear with my art currently, being a little more self-indulgent and just having a helluva lot more fun with it. Pretty pleased!
🐾 can't remember if I raised my prices or not... oh well. They'll probably stay where they're at for another year.
🐾 I am posting a tiiiny bit more constantly (including wips/sketches) so sure, but I haven't posted a speed draw or YT vid yet!! Still hoping on changing that ✌
So idk! Lately I've been really happy with where I am, both in terms of community, fandom, and productivity. It still blows my mind that I'm selling my work, it truly is a feeling like no other. It's fulfilling, makes me happy, and it just feels... right.
Nothin' to do but to keep on keepin' on for 2024!

Posted 3 years agoHELLO ALL and welcome to a brand new year! There are a few updates I want to give in regards to social medias, plans for the year, and other stuff.
First off: I want to give my social media presence a gradual overhaul. FA got a shiny new update, and I want my profiles to reflect the community that I've accepted as a part of myself (instead of still hiding behind financial excuses!). Going to my first con last year really was an 'aha!' moment and I'm so excited for this year's Furnal Equinox that it's literally all I can think about. I can't wait to wear the MiTail and EarGear I bought for it - wags for everyone!
Secondly, I want to balance commission work with my own personal projects. Ref sheets will be farther between as they require so much work, and I burnt myself out toward the end of the summer. This means I will still be open for commissions while I draw more stuff with Snow, alongside fanart, which is something I used to be reluctant to do. That said, I'm working on a revamped Snow ref sheet for 2023, after which I will be opening commissions.
As a note, I will also be raising my prices a little bit. An updated commission sheet will follow as well!
Lastly, I have some goals which I would like to do, which include posting a little more consistently (a new iPad Pro and Pencil should help with this!), posting more sketches and WIPs, and hopefully getting at least one speed draw/paint on YT.
That about covers it! I'm excited to start a new year in this wonderful fandom. :3 Thanks for having me, lovelies!

A Brief Update (and a Brief Break!)

Due to some IRL things I've been dealing with for the past month or two, I'll be taking a short commission break to rest and recharge. I may still post some occasional sketches and art for myself, but I need to recoup after almost nine straight months of commission work. I'm continuing to pursue a better grasp of work/life balance and boundaries, and hoping to get back in the saddle soon.
Speaking of which, nine straight months of commission work has been absolutely mind-blowing! The support I've received this year has been nothing but flattering. Commission work has gotten me out of some financial situations that could've quickly turned nightmarish. People have been generous, patient, and so kind, and I'm so excited to get back to making art and contributing to this wonderful community!
Stay safe, take care of each other, and perhaps most importantly, take care of yourselves <3

I'm very excited for the new year cuz of two things: I'm planning to write up a proper commission sheet to make pricing easier for both parties, and I'm going to attend my first furry convention, Furnal Equinox in March!
(If anyone has any tips for fur cons, please let me know lol, I'm so excited~)
I would really like to do a raffle to celebrate, but unfortunately I'm going to be finishing up commissions before taking two weeks off for the holidays (and to see
_Spider_Bones for the first time in two years! Two! Years!). We'll get 'em next time.
