I made my own discord server. Everyone is welcomed there! <3 I want to make a place for everyone who want to share their art, ask for critique or tips, talk about art media, art inspiration and other artist but not only that! We have games channel where we can talk about our favourite games and play with other people, memes for posting shitty jokes, and music for inspiration. Also, discord is the fastest way to contact me if you have a question about prices, commissions, drawing process, etc. I'll be posting wips and announcements for new YCHs, even ask you for opinion!

ART OF THE MONTH POLL vote on the new art theme!

I'm finally implementing one art idea I was thinking about for a very, veyr long time. I want to start a series called 'art of the month' which will depict one character of your choice, in a special theme and color palette. There will be a poll at the beginning of each month, and will last for 1 week. The highest votes will be used for the final art.
How the art will look? Something like this: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/31866327/ it will be a detailed character design, rather than full illustration. Maybe in the future I'll decide to make full illustration challenge, but for now I have to focus more on commissions (money, unfortunately..)

Art improvement and general questions for my watchers

Took a small break from commissions to ask you some questions. Recently, I got really into drawing again (I had a 1-2 month art block in summer) but now I feel better. Sometimes I spend way too much on art, from early morning to late evening with a few small breaks. I have nothing better to do for now, going out alone in that hot weather is just.. meh
I'm trying to improve my art. I really want it to stand out with quality (as much as traditional art and scanning allows). I don't want to edit my drawings too much because it's not a point here... I want to privide much higher quality art, so I can really treat it as my job. I know next year I'll have to raise prices a little bit, or work much more on art (probably in weekends too) to have enough money at the end of the month. I still work too slow, or focus too much on details. And not always getting enough customers is another problem... I had some help from friends last 2 months so Im good for now, I know things get worse around christmas and other holidays where people rather save money...
I want to promote my art on other sites. The problem is, promoting art, talking with clients, organizing everything takes a looot of time, not speaking about drawing. I already have accounts on deviantart, furaffinity and facebook, and try to keep them all alive. I know a lot of people use instagram, twitter and other sites of that type, but I simply have no time for that... do you know any ways to promote my art without spending hours on organization another account?
I tried drawing different themes, as one of the things you guys voted in my poll years ago. So it's not only fantasy but... the weirder the theme, the harder is to get commissioners for YCHs. And Im basically open for all possible sfw themes, but fantasy/tribal/harem is the most popular in my gallery. I know a lot of people dislike traditional art, because a looooot of work on fa (traditional) is just rough sketches, very simple drawings or very low quality stuff. While advertising on facebook, a lot of people say ''I look for digital art only'' which makes me even more worried about it... Even if recently I opened digital reference sheets, I had to keep the price low because Im not very good at them (and they take even more time than traditional! x_x)
From the time I started sending invoices, I notices a lot of people put a small tip to the price, which is super nice! Not everyone knows that prices shown in artist's commission info still have paypal tax and general tax, and it's very nice of those who add some more money, even if they don't have to. It always gives me more motivation to draw.
Well... nothing really happens from my side, except commissions... I'll probably stay like this to december, if I don't find another hobby or something. Im not even in mood for games tbh
Im glad I can still have some sort of contact with you guys through my journals. I mostly talk with clients, it's a nice variety :)

Collabs/trades rules (yes, you can ask me for both! :D )

I decided to write something about collabs and trades, because sometimes Im open for them. It will help a lot people who're interested.
GENERAL RULES:
I work with traditional and digital art. For trades and collabs, I'd like to work with people that offer similar quality of art. I always spend a lot of time on my drawings and I don't have much time for free art like collabs or art drated (unfortunately). If you think your style is not good enough, please don't ask. I don't want to be rude in any way, I just feel bad for telling people that I'm not interested in collabs and trades, I know they might feel upset. If your art is decent quality, message me if interested! :) I'll try to reply to all messages
For Trades, I prefer to exchange traditional for traditional, and digital for digital art. If you're a digital artist (and want a traditional art from me), I'd ask you to send your part of the trade as a print (printed on A4 size). I always send my part of the trade via mail. I think it's fair, since I have to use traditional media like paper and paints which cost more. It's nice to receive a physical copy of your art in return.
COLLABS:
For collabs, I can work on either sketch and lines, or colors and background. The work is usually split into two parts: one person works on the sketch, the other one colors it in their favourite media. It can be one drawing or two, where each person colors another one's sketch in their own style. I can work with any themes and any characters. It can be our characters, or a completely random one. If you have more questions about collabs, please ask!
TRADES:
For trades, I work with traditional and digital media (same with collabs). Depending on the style, I can work on A5 or A4 size drawing (traditional). Please remember that A4 drawings take much more time to finish, and if you want to make an art trade with me but your style isn't very good (again, I don't want to be rude, I just prefer some types of art) I can offer A5 instead of A4. I always mail my art, and I expect tther artist to do the same. With digital art, you can simply print it, with traditional art, you can send original drawing. If digital art is exchanged by both sides, a digital file is completely fine.
I'll only trade and do collabs with people who are active and draw a lot. I had situations that people would vanish after receiving my part of the collab, getting a free sketch of their character... If you're more popular on fa, and do commissions, it's a huge plus!
If you have any questions or just want to offer a collab/trade, let me know in the comments or send me a message! I really like doing both. Please don't think Im looking only for pro artists, I'm just picky if it comes to style ^^;

My new ToS is finally here! I made some changes in it, due to some recent stuff I had to go through. Please make sure to read it for future commissions. Why did I implement these changes?
-for editing finished artwork/blocking while being rude + lack of communication
I recently had a situation where someone tried to ask for the refund after the art was finished, knowing that traditional media are sometimes impossible to edit. They were also very rude and didn't listen to my explanation. I won the dispute on Paypal, but I wanted to make it clear to everyone (because apparently, some people think traditional media can be edited as easily as digital media)
-charging money before I start the sketch
it's a new thing, that I feel I had to add after some recent commissions. Most of the time, when I send a sketch for approval, the client pays for the drawing in the next 1-2 days. But in the last weeks, I had situations where people would ask me to wait 1-2 weeks, sometimes not responding at all after receiving the sketch. Sometimes I have a day where I can work only on that commission, because that's how I planned it with the client earlier. Without the payment, I can't do anything. It will help both me and commissioners in making planned decisions.
I think these are 2 major things in my ToS that were changed. But I ask you to read it all anyway, to make sure everything is clear ^_^

Things are going well~ small update

I'm starting to feel better. Many good and bad things happened recently. I managed to win with paypal dispute, which Im really happy about. I'm getting new commissioners, and trying to finish art as soon as possible because of my long, long queue (don't worry, I always put a lot of efford to make my drawings look perfect!)
Due to some latest problems with commissioners, I'll be making some changes in my ToS. For new commissioners, there'll be a required payment for A4 size drawings before even starting a sketch. Unfortunately, I had situations that people would stop responding to notes after receiving a sketch, or telling me they'll pay in the near future... Which makes me worried they'll commission someone else using the sketch I made for them. I'll probably do it only to new commissioners. Also, I'll point out some things in my tos, like, changes on finished art, asking for refunds after the art is finished... I want to get more professional, so I have to make a good ToS! I want to keep the prices as they are for now, at least to the end of the year. I'll be moving out at the beginning of 2020, and things may change... If I raise the prices, it won't be a big change. Mostly in shipping soct, but the money is spent on the shipping anyway.
I also wanted to thank you for all your comments on my art and journals. Im very busy with commissions and life in general, I dont' always have time to reply to everyone. I read them all, and I really appreciate that my watchers are active!
I;m planning on making some cool YCHs in the near future. If you have any ideas for drawings you'd like to see... I was thinking about multiple slot YCH, that would be a little bit cheaper but would let me use he same concept let's say, 3 times... no more, so it doesn't get boring for you to watch. I still have to think about themes

All the bad things - small update -

I wanted to let you know why my traditional queue is still as long as 2-3weeks ago. 2 weeks ago I found a bird that I had to take care of, which is going to the vet every 3 days, feeding and cleaning him every hour, sometimes at night too. I didn't have much sleep, focused mostly on digital art which is easier to work with than traditional (I didn't have much space on my bed for paints, and I couldn't just stop working on paintings every hour because paint would dry and complicate everything).
The bird had to be put down anyway. I did it yesterday, the same day I got informed that one of my family members has a type 2 stomach cancer, that is very unlikely to heal. This morning my father had a stroke, and half of his body is paralyzed. He's already in hospital, and has to stay there for at least 9 days. We had to go on vacation in one week so everything got cancelled too...
I'm really not in the mood for drawing right now, but I'll do my best to start the traditional queue (I got used to drawing on my tablet too much). Im still very tired after taking care of the bird, as it didn't let me sleep for too long (going to sleep at 1-2am, waking up at 6-7am to feed him)
For all commissioners, thank you for your patience. I'll do my best to reply to all your notes, if I miss something, please poke me... I really needed that vacation to recover, but I guess I'll stay home

Mailing all commissions next week, April queue and art ideas

Thanks you all again for commissioning me for the month of February. All commissions are finished and ready to ship, I'll be sending tracking numbers to you this week. It was the first month when I could work on art almost full time (I also had a side job that took me a lot of time and now I know it wasn't that good idea to take it). I must admit I love working on commissions and I'm glad most of my commissioners are really communicative!
I won't be taking any commissions this month except the YCHs I'll prepare for April (and probably post them at the end of March). I've already prepared a queue for April, including all commission types I'll take. I'll be open for notes in the last week of March.
I'm planning to post some YCHs too for those who don't have ideas for the art with their characters. I'm open for any themes, poses, pinup ideas from you, even if you're just a watcher and not really interested in commissioning me next month - I'd love to hear what you want to see from me! Thanks you all again for commissioning me for the month of February. All commissions are finished and ready to ship, I'll be sending tracking numbers to you this week. It was the first month when I could work on art almost full time (I also had a side job that took me a lot of time and now I know it wasn't that good idea to take it). I must admit I love working on commissions and I'm glad most of my commissioners are really communicative!
I won't be taking any commissions this month except the YCHs I'll prepare for April (and probably post them at the end of March). I've already prepared a queue for April, including all commission types I'll take. I'll be open for notes in the last week of March.
I'm planning to post some YCHs too for those who don't have ideas for the art with their characters. I'm open for any themes, poses, pinup ideas from you, even if you're just a watcher and not really interested in commissioning me next month - I'd love to hear what you want to see from me! Art of the month - I need your opinion!

Starting from march, I want to do ''art of the month''. What is it? At the beginning of each month, I'll choose a theme and and let you vote for your choice, for example a specific character to draw. I'm planning to start the challenge in March but since it's the first time, I want to as kyou for your ideas. The first theme will be ''furries from the comics/movies''. I need your character ideas before I make a poll so... what furry character from movie/comics do you want to see in my style? :) Feel free to give me more than one example, the more the better!
Oh and by the way, let me know what you think about the whole idea :)

Back on FA - new year update, commission plans *

It's been a long time since I wrote something here... starting from summer and my internship, then summer job that took me most of my free time... starting the 3rd year at my uni, school work and exams. It's been a busy time for me, believe me. I didn't draw as much as before, focusing more on school and other things. No commissions, no personal art. but everything will change, hopefully.
2018 was also challenging for me... Me and
spectronic started talking again after a long time, and our friendship became something more. We've been dating for half a year, but long distance relationship isn't easy. It made me think about my current life plans with studies, commissions and everything.
Not so long ago I finally made my decision. I'm quitting my studies this month, right after the winter semester. In march I'm moving to Canada. I don't have to say how much I'm stressed about it! I have Spec's support and great help here, so I'm not alone here. What will happen next, I'm not sure.
I know commissions will save my ass for the first months in Canada (before I can legally get a job there), but also give me some money for things I have to buy before the flight. After my exams I'll have one month for myself, what means... commissions. It's probably the last time to get 7$ shipping, I don't know the prices in Canada... I'm not sure if I raise my prices too, it really depends on how long it takes me to draw (i've never done it as a full time job). I know I'll apple one change to my commissions, which is artistic freedom for all A5 drawings. But it will happen in march.
Well... Thanks for still staying with me guys. I shouldbe more active here, on facebook too (hopefully). I'm also considering making a group on discord, where I'm for most of the time. Would you be interested?
Expect more updates from me around March :)

New commission type available: digital portraits!

I wanted to let you know that from now I'm open for a new commission type - digital portraits!
After a long time I'm finally back with digital commissions, because my style improved enough to offer them! The other reason is, I need a break from traditional paintings for a while. As long as I love traditional abd the variety of tools it offers, I need yto try something different, so here comes digital. I still experiment with it, adding new effects and brushes - basically I try to make each drawing unique.
I'm currently open for 1-2 digital portraits, 50$ each. Quick turn around (2-3 days if the sketch is not shown for approval) what I prefer - it gives me more space for creativity. Digital commissions won't be included in my standart queue for now, since I work on them only during the week (leaving weekends for traditional art only). That's why I might be open for portraits when my standard commissions are closed.
The price includes one portrait (waist up) in style similar to this: https://www.furaffinity.net/gallery.....ital-portraits
I already have four examples so you know what you can expect from me :) lvl of details will be different for every commission, because more not always mean better. I always offer the best quality I can get for each idea. I provide very big file ( around 2500-3500 pixels) for personal use. If you're interested or have any questions, feel free to note me!

Ill be doing some small updates on my profile in the next 2-3 months, including raising prices, changing my ToS, queue management, wips and more. I'll try to inform you about everything so you know what exactly will be changed.
By the way, my commission list was closed for a while because of some confusion with my holiday internship. Now I know the exact date of it and can open my commissions again (for people who are on my Augst list) so they'll be simply moved to July queue. Back from the hospital (and still alive) :D

Sorry for writing about it so late, I was pretty busy with a lot of stuff and couldn't find time for that journal. I finally desiced to write about it because some of you might be worried.
Soo the hospital visit wasn't long, less than 2 days to be exact. I got my blood taken about 2 times and because nurses didn't know how to do it correctly, I got two nice bruises on my left hand. Can't complain, they look pretty nice. So the doctor decided to not make that surgery right before it. They said there's no sense in doing it because lymph nodes weren't big enough now. I mean, of course they weren't, I got first symptoms around 2 weeks ago, they should've made that surgery 2 weeks ago!! At least I got all boring medical check up so that's good. I've also got a paper to hematologist if anything will worsen.
Overall I'm pretty happy I didn't have to be cut like a dead body by a group of crazy doctors, I jus was reaaaaly scared the whole two days haha. I've spent the weekend on recovery and I'm feeling pretty good, even optimistic. And I'm back to work finally :D

I wanted ot inform all of you that I'll be absent starting from next Thursday (26.04). Im going to the hospital and I'll have an operation next Friday x_x I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma (something similar, I'm not really into these weird names >_>), in a week I had biopsy, blood drawn two times, two times usg and about 4 or 5 visits in the clinic. I'm exhausted right now, don't want to think about that operation anymore. For those who ask, this disease is fully curable, so I'll be back for sure ;) just don't know how long it will take. A week? maybe two? can't really say
I'll note all my commissioners and try to postpone some of currently discussed commissions, these already paid should be done before Thursday (so you should at least receive a scan If I'm not able to send them all.
I can't say If I'm able to draw during the time in a hospital, I'd like at least to be able to sketch, (I need my left hand free from cannula) that would be great. If not, I'll spend a week with a book, finally found some time for that ;)

I feel kinda bad for not posting anything for a while. There was pretty cold for a couple of weeks and I got really sick and ech because of it. I mostly stay in bed or try to sketch something but the art block doesn't let me T__T My mind is full of epic drawing ideas, especially for my world and the story I'm working on. Again, sorry for being so inactive.
Beside my sickness, I'm not even in the mood for any interactions woth the world. Seems that the end of the winter definitely spoils my mood. It's the last week free from school for me, starting the new semester in the last week of February. My schedule is fucked up and I stay at school from 8-9am to 7-8pm, almost every day T_T it means even less time for drawing and sleep.
Well, it will be a nice challenge to survive this semester. I'm really worried but also happy because I know it will teach me something. Hope to spend most of the time sketching, just like always! :)

Okay I need some ideas for a new drawing!

Sorry for bery slow posting and lack of activity in general, I'm in the middle of my finals and I'm pretty stressed/tired/busy xD
I end my exams on saturday so fron this time you should see more art! I'll spend the next 3 weeks in my hometown, I don't take all my drawing media because my backpack would be too heavy haha. I think I'll have time for one personal piece in that time (after I finish working on commissions for canis_aureus and 
wingedneko which are already inked). I cheked my gallery and I have so few pieces of my sona, so I decided to work on something with her. Of course I can't think of any cool topics for her - she was drawn as a ranger, warrior, even mage, with griffins and dragons, in the medieval town or forest.... I want to keep that drawing fantasy themed (tho I have many ideas for pirate piece!). Any themes you would like to see? It can be everything as long as it sticks to fantasy related stuff. Ahh I want it to be full detailed illustration, preferably one character :3 I would love to hear your ideas! <3

Plans for 2018 - let make this year epic!

It's been a while since I posted something, long winter break have ended and I'm ready to start my January queue, along with some other thigns like painting a sculpture and of course.... studying.
Yeah, this month will be terrible for me because I have tons of exams starting from 18th of January, which will slow down my queue what means less art this and next month :/ Can't do anything about it unfortunately. I'll try to finish at least 3 commissions this month as planned, what will happen next, who knows~
By the way, I wanted to thank everyone who filled my questionnaire I posted some time ago, your opinions were really helpful to me <3
Soo I have some plans for the next year. This is my list so far:

This is the most important point and most difficult to achieve since all money I get is from art - and all my art supplies, food and little things for myself go from commissions. Taking one week a month for personal stuff is a really hard choice, but I'll do my best to at least post sketches - here or on my facebook page. I have so many stories to tell but so little time, ehh :(
2. Improving my world
This thing is connected to the first point which is making my world more interesting lively. Besides art only with my character, I want to show you some of the countries, cities' concepts, armor and weapon designs, even maps of all countries. I've been planning a map for a very long time so it's a certainty.
3. More YCHs with various themes
This thing was very often mentioned by you in my questionnaire, especially different themes for my drawings and I like that idea a lot! I'll be trying to post one YCH a month (depending on how much work I have) and try to make it in different theme like sci fi, pirates, maybe tribal or fairy. You can always note me with some interesting ideas you would like to see! I'm open for all suggestions! ;)
4. Practising anatomy
This is very important point for me. I want to practise my style even more and make a big change - for better of course. So poses, faces, multiple character interactions, and other things will be improved!
5. Filling at least one sketchbook with... sketches
Yeah, i really mis random sketches of my characters. The more detailed work I do, the less time I have for individual sketch. I've already started filling one of my old sketchbook, unfortunately it's checkered paper so sketches don't present well scanned and posted here. Still, I consider it as personal work and want to keep drawing then because it's fun!
6. Getting more watchers and making more commissions!
The last yet very important point is getting more watchers and working on various commissions this year. The more the better! My personal goal is 1800 watchers to the end of this year but it's not so important, I prefer to focus on my art' quality for mow :)
