Re: transition, I am approaching eleven months HRT. I am out literally everywhere, it's been a very largely positive experience.

Last week I got hit by a car as a pedestrian. My tibia was chipped near to my ACL and the ortho told me that I cannot walk for a month. So I'm going a bit stir-crazy.

I tend to assume the answer will be yes, but I'm gonna get a feeler for the opinions of those who follow me!

As I've posted in various pieces and places, I've been playin FF14 for about a year now, little under that number. So naturally I have gotten (continue to get) art of my character from the game. Which is a human (hyur) who I wound up turning into an elf (elezen) that I love quite a lot. After I get through my backlog of furry uploads, would peeps want to see my Warrior of Light on here as well? Ambivalent? Don't care? Let me know!

If you don't have a strong opinion on that, or if you do but would like to say more than just your opinion, how have you been? How's life? Any criminally under-recognized artists I need to see? What is up?

Hey all! It's been a few months since I last uploaded, I plan to start getting the backlog uploaded soon.

Hey all! I made the mistake of asking Twitter if anyone knew anyone who had done work in the Star Trek Lower Decks art style before and were open for commissions - I got bites but so far no artists who have worked in said style before. So that bein said... any artists here both able to make a facsimile of Lower Decks' art style and also open for commissions?

I got hit by a funny idea as I was leaving work today. I decided I wanted to get some specific details worked out about each of my characters, their sexual orientation in terms of how many pics they've been in, how many are sexual in nature, etc. Spoiler alert: pretty much confirmed what I already knew, but it's still fun to go through it. I made a few categories and then put pics into each category fairly fast and loose. Some things are more obvious (hmm, Horsie's being railed by one dude - clearly sex with men), some were a little more how do I specifically feel about them (Oaf is taking Horsie on a walk - definitely kinky but is this "sex w/ a woman" category or "sexual solo"?). That said, I tended towards things that highlighted a character's sexuality. The categories!

- Non-sexual: Exactly how it sounds. May contain nudity but probably doesn't, just a pic.
- Sexual Solo: NSFW in nature even if clothed, pin-ups, teasing, general sexual energy.
- Toys/Masturbation: Solo stuff with a toy or toys, or just fingering one's self.
- Sex w/ Men: Sex with a man or men, potentially even just a loving kiss that will lead to more.
- Sex w/ Women: Sex with a woman or women, potentially even just a loving kiss that will lead to more.
- Sex w/ Both or Non-Binary: Sex with men and women at the same time, sex with characters that identify as non-binary. It may seem odd to group the two, but the purpose is to identify sexuality of the character, this is the bi category. If a character is a transwoman, she was counted in sex w/ women.

Each pic was only counted once, regardless of if there was a sfw or nsfw version. Whichever was truer to the intent of the pic got the category. The results! Horsie took FOREVER. Doing things by percentages cause Horsie will win on count alone if we look at literally any category.

Most sexual character: Sophia (73%)
Least sexual character: Akila (52%)
Most straight: Tie: Akila/Sophia (100%)
Most bi: Horsie: (73% with men)
Most gay: Mahighoti: (87.5%)

Conclusions: Interesting that with more pics it leans to a 60/40 sexual/non-sexual split. The characters with the least art do tend to be the most skewed in data. Still interesting to me!

Basic breakdown. 67% of pics are sexual! 87.5% of sexual encounters are with women. Which to be fair, I could eliminate the one male encounter as it was a non-canon anything goes pic! I decided to keep it for the sake of numbers, but Mahi is soft lesbian girl for sure.

Skipping my orc entirely - 3 pics, 1 sexual with a man. There is not really enough data to make her interesting!

Long time no talk - which is essentially what I can say for all my journals. I celebrated finally catching up on all my uploads by... letting myself get extremely behind on uploads again. I R SMRT.

I've got, oh... over 60... uploads to do to be caught up. I think a lot of what will get me behind is wanting to have something to say for every upload and while most of the time that's no problem - sometimes I get stuck and then my natural lazy tendencies take over. Probably be a flood in the coming days or weeks when I make a push to get caught up. There are some very very nice pieces to upload too! I just... haven't. :-|

I am... still eternally behind on uploads. Which is kinda snowballing into me actually getting anxiety about trying to get it all up. As such, I'm gonna just do a (familiar) artist highlight today and upload my Oli_Snowpaw backlog. It's... more than half of what I'm behind on uploading. And I will be skipping one image because I'll be introducing a new character of mine probably on her own upload extravaganza day.

Also by the time I finish this upload spam there is a distinct possibility that I will already have more Oli art to put up.

I've been browsing FA pretty much daily but for some reason just got behind on uploading arts. Been buggin' me so, gonna be putting up a lot of stuff in short order. Normally I'd do one or two a day but I feel like I'm gonna not keep up with it if I do that. Got kinda a wide selection to go up, lol.

How has everyone been?

My account was disabled and I have not received an email explaining why. Feeling very cut off and stressed out as that is my connection to all my friends. I don't like this.

Not super relevant for most people but figure I'd announce a couple of changes coming here.

I will no longer be alphanemesis93 's pet, so subsequently Horsie will be moving away from Alpha as well. Not instantly on that end, cause we have a couple things that we're gonna do, some fun things to explore. But eventually Horsie is going to be my character Ophelia's pet. Which kinda brings up the next change,

Going to make Ophelia bi. It's something I debated with myself back and forth a bit, but I want to have some art of Horsie with her, and so... yeah. I'm gonna do that.

As per the feedback on my previous journal, I'm going to start posting the questionable content that I have. Threw together a hypothetical FAQ, I will update it if I find I missed something.

What do you mean by questionable content?
As far as furaffinity is concerned, I mean content that I like or liked in art, but would have either no interest or negative interest toward in real life. All art that falls into this category will be tagged "questionable_content". If you use some third party means of blocking content you don't like, that would be the thing to block. I'm not going to be apologetic in the descriptions of the pieces themselves, other than to link to this journal at the top of each post. Additionally *most* of the questionable content uploads will go into scraps within a day of posting. If it doesn't, I probably really like it.

Why are you warning us about content you're posting?
Ultimately I don't want people to feel uncomfortable browsing my page, so at the very least I want people to have a heads up/warning.

I'm posting all of this because a) that was the general consensus when I asked if I should, and b) this is furry land and if I can't be honest here, where the hell can I be honest?

Random opinion seeking journal here.

I'll state that I know full well this is my page and I can post to it whatever I want to (within the terms of the ToS). But there's always a question of the average watcher's comfort level with different topics, opinions of friends, etc. Furry definitely encourages you to be open and I in general like that, but at the same time people are going to have their reactions to whatever you post.

So I guess my question is, how do you feel in general when you see a post that you don't like, or has subject matter that just isn't for you. Do you just clear the notification and move on? Or does it drive you to push away from people? How does it make you feel, if it makes you feel anything?

I'm debating whether or not to post a few images I've gotten where I was trying out things/seeing about scratching itches. I was honestly hoping there was a discrete way to post them to scraps without notifying people and then silently slide them out, lol... but the way FA works everything new gets blasted. So idk, I don't want people to be uncomfortable? But i feel like some will. And if it seems like I'm being vague it's because I am! These images already exist, they're in the wild, I felt it would be/was getting unfair to the artist/s to say please work on this but then keep it private... but I also have kept my page to the content that, I guess being blunt, I have no shame about?

Thoughts? Good or bad, I'm not lookin to censor, I'd appreciate full honest opinions.
