I just wanna thank all you guys for being so patient with my slow butt. Between work, helping the hubby with RPG graphics, and busting this stupid cold, progress has been slower than I'd expected. Rest assured I will keep everyone updated with WIP sketches & such though.
Lina is doing a bit better since my last update. We were able to take her in to at least get one root canal done and a cavity filled in, but she still needs the other root canal filled in (hopefully sometime in the next few months). She had a bit of swelling and achiness afterwards but she was a total trooper through the whole thing. ;3; ~<3

I need some help, everyone (for my daughter-PLEASE READ)
General | Posted 13 years agoWe took my daughter to the dentist the other day and it turns out she needs to get a ton of work done on her teeth (one cavity filled in and two baby root canals). My mom-in-law is only able to pay for a bit over half of the work done (around $700) and it's estimated to total about $1200 altogether.
She desperately needs this done but I have barely been making enough at my job lately to cover groceries & rent. I will be gathering/putting up the remainder of my Bemani stuff (controller + games) for sale, plus some assorted manga & other odds & ends to help cover costs. I'm willing to part with almost anything except my lappy to be able to pay to get this done.
I need all the help I can get, even if it's something as small as a journal link. Maybe one of your friends is looking for an artist to commission-perhaps you might be able to point them my way? *winknudge* ^^;;
Everyone who is willing to contribute *something* will at least get a flat-colored chibi from me as a thank you. I will be trying to do some DfD streams here & there over the next couple of weeks as well.

I will also stress that this is *NOT* an immediate emergency situation but it does need to be resolved as soon as possible. And before I start receiving any inquiries about how this situation got as bad as it is-I had the same tooth problems as my daughter when I was a toddler. It actually got bad enough for me that I had to have both my top central and lateral incisors pulled when I was about 5 and had to wear a retainer till my adult teeth came in.

Traditional/Digital Doodles for Donations?
General | Posted 13 years agoNeed to build up some funds here in the following weeks to help fund the hubby with his business so I'm opening up both traditional & digital DfDs!
I'd be more partial to doing traditional doodles seeing as I can work on them just about anywhere at almost any time (meaning I can turn them out faster), but I would not turn away digital requests in the slightest.
I'll post up a few example pics with prices later on, but I'd mainly like to know if anyone would be interested for now?

Yes, we made a trip to the grocery at 9:30 this morning to assemble ingredients.
And, surprisingly, yes-the hubby enjoyed it immensely. Didn't add quite as much chutney/chili sauce as the above-linked recipe calls for but it probably would've slain him otherwise. ^^;;
Plunked a bottle of bismuth down next to his Coke just to play it safe. X3
Still haven't tried it for myself, but I'm fairly sure it's nothing like having a baby. We shall see.

General | Posted 13 years agoI sincerely apologize for being so melodramatic before. I have no right to treat you guys that way, making you worry for reasons no one other than myself honestly knows about.
I think I've just hit another low point with my art (and my life, to a greater extent), like I have many times before, and it's frustrating & infuriating me to the point of not wanting to produce and/or post anything else.
I have no intention of inflicting any kind of self-harm on myself, so no reason to be worried there.
Updates will probably be sporadic at best for a while though, till I sort through various personal issues. I will continue to lurk about here, commenting & faving occasionally, but I think I'm going to move away from producing digital art for a while. I feel burnt out and have been wanting to go back to more traditional media as of late, and if that at least keeps my output somewhat steady then I'm willing to make that kind of sacrifice.
At the moment I have one ongoing trade to complete, plus I still want to do a celebratory 10k view picture to thank you guys for putting up with my ongoing bullshit. Profile information will be posted up again whenever I deem it appropriate.
Again, I deeply apologize for putting my friends & watchers through all this. I just need to suck it up and get my shit together.
